پس از این‌که معلوم شد مترو ۲۰۳۵، سومین و آخرین قسمت از سه گانه‌ی مترو، دوباره روی شخصیت اصلی مترو ۲۰۳۳ یعنی آرتیوم تمرکز می‌کند؛ دمیتری گلوخوفسکی، نویسنده‌ی مجموعه، تصمیم گرفت تا با همکاری انتشارات دارک هورس، با نوشتن کمیکی تک‌شماره‌ای داستان این دو رمان را به هم متصل کند. «انجیل به روایت آرتیوم» بیان‌گر عواقب تصمیم‌گیری حیاتی آرتیوم در قبال موجودات تاریک از زبان خودش است، بنابراین خواندن آن فقط به کسانی توصیه می شود که رمان مترو ۲۰۳۳ را کامل خوانده‌اند یا بازی اقتباس‌شده از آن را به اتمام رسانده‌اند.

About the author

Dmitry Glukhovsky (Russian: Дмитрий Глуховский) is a professional Russian author and journalist. Glukhovsky started in 2002 by publishing his first novel, Metro 2033, on his own website to be viewed for free. The novel has later become an interactive experiment, drawing in many readers, and has since been made into a video game for the Xbox 360 console and PC. Glukhovsky is known in Russia for his novels Metro 2033 and "It's Getting Darker". He is also an author of a series of satirical "Stories of Motherland" criticizing today's Russia.
As a journalist, Dmitry Glukhovsky has worked for EuroNews TV in France, Deutsche Welle, and RT. In 2008-2009 he worked as a radio host of a Mayak Radio Station. He writes columns for Harper’s Bazaar, l’Officiel and Playboy.
He has lived in Israel, Germany and France and speaks English, French, German, Hebrew and Spanish as well as his native Russian.

Un cosa loca. Artyom .....
Al contar la historia de Artyom entre los fatídicos eventos de Metro 2033 y Metro: Last Light, El Evangelio según Artyom sirve para conectar ambas historias y brindar una visión inesperada de lo que realmente sucedió al principio de todo.

I missed Artyom from Metro 2033 a lot. So much that I might even re-read the first book. And this story, even though it changed the ending a little bit, gave me some... pleasure, I guess. It's not a cheerful story, far from it, but I loved it anyway.

I was a quite disappointed with the sequel - Metro 2034 - that I've lost my desire to read the last book. Maybe I should do it after all. Although I'm pretty sure nothing can beat the first one. It was a gem.

This is a good book - although I'm biased by the fact that I love postapocalyptic fiction. The translation was pretty decent, and did a great job conveying what (I assume) was the atmosphere created by the author.

I read it while playing Metro: Last Light (the book apparently has an accompanying game of the same name that precedes Last Light, which seems to have some technical issues.)

The book is extremely short and to my knowledge only available in digital. Nevertheless, the graphics are beautiful and the Metro atmosphere is perfectly transcribed. The story also makes a good summary of the (late) events of the first video game.

Un buena continuación de Metro 2033 y precuela de Metro 2034, hay algunas cosas que no cuadran, pareciera que la historia es mas original al videojuego. Esto es porque Artyom aparece solo en la Torre Ostankino, sin Ulman ni Pavel y el primero es el que esta en control del lanzamiento. También habla que pudo detener los misiles antes de que llegaran a su destino y realmente nunca tuvo oportunidad. Pero al final la historia del jardín botánico y de después del bombardeo es muy buena.

Epilog, który każdy powinien przeczytać po metro 2033, lecz nie każde wydanie go posiada. Nadaje zupełnie inne zakończenie, wyjaśnia ,,rozmyte” wspomnienia i informacje, które Artem wcześniej zataił. Krótki tekst wzbudzający ogrom emocji.
