An annual academic journal dedicated to the study of the writer Robert E. Howard, creator of Conan, Solomon Kane, Kull, and author of numerous pulp stories. Since 2016, the journal will also run other articles on other pulp fiction, horror, and sword and sorcery writers.
Todd B. Vick has published articles/chapters in The Dark Man: The Journal of Robert E. Howard and Pulp Fiction Studies, Weird Fiction Review and, REH Changed My Life. He has also written guest articles for the blog REH: Two-Gun Raconteur. He has presented papers about Robert E. Howard and his works at the 2016 & 2018 Popular Culture Conventions (PCA/ACA), and has a new upcoming biography about Robert E. Howard for The University of Texas Press.
