There is so much more to this story you need to read it! There is danger and possibly love in the air!
The latest book in the Chocolate Centered Cozy Mystery series is absolutely fantastic! I've always loved the characters, especially Ally and her grandmother, Charlotte, as well as all the people who live in Blue River. I never like to give too much away in my reviews but I thought the mystery was great with lots of suspects and theories. Oh, and all the talk of chocolates? Yummy!! If you haven't read this series yet, I highly recommend you pick up Book 1, The Sweet Smell of Murder, and enjoy! Happy Reading!
Well I have read all of the books that are listed as having been written to date by Ms Cindy Bell to date. Now all I can do is wait till she writes another and read it. The author is very interesting and fun to read, the characters, the mystery, the romance all blend together to make a wonderful story.
I like the main characters Ally and the grandmother. They make a great team . It's nice to see such a loving relationship between them. The mystery was very good as well. Hopefully there will be future books with them. Thank you and stay well.
I like the plot. I am starting to dislike some of the characters. Getting the other 3 involved in helping solve crimes worked in this one, hope if they continue to help it works with the story and doesn't take away from the main characters.
Ally and Charlotte have been gradually losing my interest, but this finally did it. Geriatric bumblers, a ridiculous storyline...1 star for Peaches and Arnold being the brains of the group.
Who killed Marcus Carse and how and why??? The three little old ladies get in the mix, don't they??? But, it is Ally who pulls things together, isn't it??? I enjoyed this story and recommend the book.
Cindy Bell has created a series with homey characters who are very good friends, and a sweet romance between the youngest woman and the lawman. Wonderful!
Loved this series! Cindy Bell really knows how to keep you interested and just when you think you know who did it send throws a monkey wrench in and poor you are wrong. Lol
Another cozy mystery. Glad that the author has involved others in their scheme to solve murders in the tiny town. These books take your mind off being quarantined.
Mrs Cale has a new boyfriend. Ally signs up to try a new vacuum cleaner. One of the vacuum salesman is found dead on the street. Ally and Charlotte decide to help the police.
