Once bonded, never broken. The words give Dante Gabriel hope…until he remembers where he first heard them. The information he needs is hidden in the ancient Vampyre Texts, but he encounters obstacle after obstacle while trying to decipher them, even when someone from his past returns to help.
Though she tries, Erin Hamilton can’t resist Dante. When he comes for her, she always submits willingly, despite her best intentions. She loves him but still can’t bring herself to accept him as vampire…even as other vampires, lured by her arousing scent, begin to close in on her.

MY THOUGHTS: If you enjoyed Part 1 & 2 then you won’t be disappointed with parts 3 through to 6. The drama continues for Dante and Erin as the bond grows stronger, leaving too many unanswered questions. Well written and fast paced I really enjoyed the suspense and mystery build up this series brings.
There is so much development in these 4 parts your captivating and invested in the story. Each part is a quick read and will have you grabbing at the next one eagerly to get more of the story. This would make a great TV Series!
I look forward to the release of parts 7,8 & 9 to see how it all ends.

Erin drove me absolutely nuts in this installment, but thankfully my sweetheart Dante found a way to dominate the narrative. Other vampires, origin and identities unknown, are sampling the delicacy that is Erin's blood. Dante is determined to find out who keeps going after her and to find out more about the woman who kept him captive for so many years. He's not sure who to trust or even what his next steps should be, but what he does know is that nothing and no one, not even Erin herself, is going to keep him from his true love. This book was full of mystery and intrigue, but the author also left plenty of romance within its pages. I still think I'm right about Dante's captor and I think some people in Erin's life are more than they seem. I wonder if my assumptions will gain any clarity in the next part of this series.
Blood Bond by Helen Hardt is part Five in the Blood Bond Saga. The story continues of Dante Gabriel and Erin Hamilton. This Saga is a 6 part story line that you cannot put down. Erin is still working on understanding and excepting the vampire concept and what had happened in the past with Dante. Along with there is the new revelation of Dante father being a ghost. Dante is still looking for answers on what and who actually kept him along with his present feelings with Erin. I am torn between wanting the end their story or not having the next book to look forward too. What a page turn this has been so far!
The deeper and deeper I get into this story, the more and more questions need answering. There is so much suspense in this instalment. I was frantically turning pages needing to know what happens next.
Dante and Erin continue to put things together to try and get some understanding of this Blood Bond that has them connected forever. We find out who the person Erin was seeing as a ghost is and that they are there to protect not just Dante but now Erin since she’s bonded with him for life now. Dante learns things about this ghost and who it is, and he struggles to come to terms with the fact that ghosts are real, and that this ghost is a massive part of him..
More people start to go missing from the hospital where Erin works, and it has Erin questioning what’s going on around her. She still struggling to come to terms with the whole vampire thing and the blood bond, but that doesn’t stop her desire and passion for Dante from deepening.
More and more things are happening, more questions need answering, and more characters are being added to the story and they all have their own reason in being there, some of those reasons are still unknown.
Dante and Erin connection continue to become strong, the bond between them thickens. The passion, the lust and desire continue to heighten and things continue to get even more intense. Which I didn’t think was possible after instalment 4 but of course Helen proves me wrong and smashing this instalment out the park! Once again, Helen leaves me on the edge of my seat, a million damn questions I need answers for and now I have to wait for part 6!! BRING IT ON!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
As Dante and Erin fall deeper and deeper into the cosmic pull that binds all the mysteries surrounding why just keep piling up. With every step towards an answer it only opens the door to more questions with no answers. Dante knows he needs patience to allow Erin to fully come to grips with the revelations he has thrown on her, but he won’t give her space or distance when her safety is at risk. Dante needs her to keep an open mind but in the end it may be him who needs to open his mind to find the answers he seeks.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book
The suspense in this book is ridiculous. I found myself flying through it because i had to know more of what is going on. When everything finally comes out i know its gonna be a bomb that is gonna knock everyone down. I cant wait to find out though!
There is so much growth in the characters in the book and you finally get a few answers youve been dying to know for a while. New characters come into play that i know will be important as the story goes.
Now for me to sit impatiently and wait for part 6!
Captivating! I've volunteered to review this book for United Indie Book Blog. This is the fifth part to the Blood Bond Saga. The bond between Dante and Erin is getting stronger. Talk about suspense, this book keeps you wanting more. The more I read the deeper I get hooked. And I know you will get HOOKED just like me. You have to get this series. Helen Hardt is one of my favorite authors. Who is taking the people. I NEED to know that!! Keep up the amazing work Helen! I HIGHLY recommend this series.
Helen Hardt just keep getting better and better with these books. I am so hooked. Dante and Erin's love continues to grow and she gets more and more curious about the lives of vampires and their need for blood. Dante is more determined than ever to find the one who captured him and held him captive for so many years. It is so hard to do these books justice with these reviews without spoiling them for everyone
It’s almost a good thing there’s a wait for the next book. It’s going to take me a while to process what I just read. Ghosts, demons, abductions, and death, what more can Helen Hardt add to this wonderful story? I guess we’ll have to wait to find out. This was another gem!
I could not wait for this book to be over. I refuse to not finish. I’m a big fan of Helen but this book was not enjoyable and really lacked a solid story. It did not hold my attention well at all. Disappointed.
A genially written and enthralling romantic suspense that will take over all your senses...
Okay, so there's really not much more I can say from my previous review of parts 1 & 2 of the Blood Bond Saga. Yes, a lot has happened, but to go into the depths would be to venture into spoiler territory. I have never liked spoilers, so I'm going to steer well clear of it.
What I am going to say is that this story just keeps getting better and better as it unfolds. The characters are progressing beautifully and I have to admit that I find myself just as enthralled with Dante as Erin is. I find myself oooohing and aaaaaahing whenever he is around and when he isn't I find myself curious to know just what he is up to. As far as Paranormal romances go, I am loving their story. I found it a little hard to get stuck into at first because it has been a slow burn, and the sexual and emotional angst continues to make it so, however...when things heat up, FML do they heat up. In true Helen fashion their encounters are never dull or forgettable. There have been a couple of moments that were filled with humour and quite frankly they added a very welcomed freshness to the story.
Not only has Ms. Hardt got me by the balls when it comes to her protagonists, but I am also so freaking curious and besotted with River and Lucy...Emilia and Jay. I'm still a little at a loss as to how to react to Bill. I want to throat punch him, and at the same time I sort of feel for him. I think it's safe to say that I have way too many mixed feelings when it comes to that vamp. Quite frankly the suspense has me completely and utterly gripped. I find myself desperately clutching at every possible clue and trying to piece them all together myself. I need all the facts and now!
All in all, I think it's fair to say that I am completely and utterly suckered into this series. I knew I was going to love it, because it's Helen Hardt and she's my unicorn, but I didn't think that I'd enjoy it as much as I am. Even with it being a serial, I am freaking swallowed up by it. I think I know how Jonah felt when that big whale came along and swallowed him up. I am Jonah and the Blood Bond Saga is my whale. I never want to be spat up. I just want more and more...and more. Also, am I the only one that wants River and Lucy to get their own story? Oh and Emilia and Jay...if she survives. I hope she does.
I really can't wait for the next instalments of the Blood Bond Saga. I am on the edge of my seat with my nails begging me to give them a break. I keep telling myself that I need to step away from my kindle and resist the urge to restart the whole thing from scratch...just in case I've missed some sort of important clue. Or actually, just so I don't feel like I'm going to be waiting forever for more of this story and its characters.
"The ineffable flavor intensified. I couldn’t get enough. Enough of Dante. Enough of my blood on Dante’s lips and tongue.
HOLY CRAP!! THIS IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST INSTALLMENT YET!! Is it October 30th yet? I need part 6 NOW! I can NOT stress enough how much I am LOVING this saga. Each part to this saga take you deeper than the last. The pages consume your mind, making you desperate for more. Once you start reading them you just can NOT stop. My mind is reeling with questions. The mystery the author brings in this Saga is seriously some of the best I've read. I love a good suspense but this is on a whole new level. I've never been so ready to see how sonething ends, but at the same time desperately not wanting the story to end. Dante and Erin are two characters that I seriously can NOT get enough of. Everything about them draws you in. I have never craved characters like I am Dante and Erin. Their need for each other is all consuming and intense. I have never seen chemistry like these two have. Dante and Erin are definitely out to take you for a mysteriously passionate ride.
"Though I didn’t taste chocolate or wine, I did taste something— something amorphous that I couldn’t describe. It was absolutely delicious."
Erin surprised me the most this book! So many times she took me by surprise rather it be with her actions, or words. Her character is definitely elvoving with each part to this Saga. I can see why Dante is so obsessed with her. Erin has a uncanny ability of following her heart. I envy her ability to put mind over matter. Her devotion and bond to Dante truly has no limits.
“I choose to believe you’re special, Erin. Because you are. Especially to me.”
Dante, Dant, Dante. This vampire seriously owns my heart y'all. He seriously is the whole Alpha Vampire package! His character developed, and grew over this book as well. Dante still has alot to learn, but he is finally starting to find his way. With each book, ypu unlock a little more of his mysteries. Dante Gabriel may be full of secrets, but I am ready to devour every single one.
*5 STARS!!* This was one of the most explosive endings yet! I WANT MORE! If you have not started this Saga yet, I truly can NOT express how much you are missing out. IT. IS. JUST. SO. GOOD. GAH.
This book starts with a mystery that has yet to be solved. It’s the driving force for this story. Even though Erin and Dante become more intimate here, we are pulled deeper into a mystery that starts with Dante but weaves itself into Erin’s world.
One of our secondary characters has returned to add to the mystery. And our author had added in a new character. We’ll just have to wait and see if he helps toward a solution or if just add to what has yet to be solved.
One thing that is certain is that our author is not done with us yet. That makes me very happy. I like a story where there’s more going on than just watching a relationship develop between our main characters. It was also nice to see that Erin has a hard time processing some of what’s going on. On the other hand, she’s pretty sure about others. But the ending gives me not one but two more mysteries to add to the mix. I can’t wait for more. This author has to know she has me hooked – my old Dark Shadows obsession just may have been replaced.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Helen Hardt is one of my favorite authors and this time is probably one of the rare times I am only giving a book from her an average rating. I felt this last of five books could have been condensed. There were many unnecessary sex scenes added which could have been eliminated as they really didn't serve a purpose and did not seem realistic based on what the characters were experiencing. Who stops continuously to have sex when they are trying to save others and stop someone from hurting people? It is not like the scenes were bad, they just seemed out of place.
The disappointment I had was the ending. Through five books we were building to the climactic end. Just waiting and waiting to see what happened with the Queen. Well, all I can say without a spoiler is to say it was not what I expected, and not in a positive light. The big ending to the conflict felt like it only encompassed two pages. Then right at the end the characters indicated what they were going to do next. In two sentences.
Is there going to be more books? Continuing the saga? That was the impression. Just wish there was a bigger bang to the long awaiting climax and it felt like a dud.
You must read parts 1-4, and it is set up similarly: point of view of Erin and Dante, with Epilogue from The Queen. This part left off from part 4. Also, the spice is still awkward, but the plot is amazing (hence the four stars).
This left off where Erin was bitten and clamored to forget she was. As they were trying to figure that out, she was wanting to find out what happened to Dante when he was kidnapped, but he doesn’t want to talk about it. What he does give her is more information on the blood bond that is happening between them two.
A family member appears in an unexpected way, and does trust Dante’s uncle, just like Dante. This family member came back to protect Dante, from what? No one knows, including the family member.
While feeding off Erin, Dante had a possible vision into the future. He doesn’t know how true it is, considering it is supposedly impossible to happen. He did learn something about the Vampire Text, but doesn’t want to acknowledge it and wants to read it himself.
Finally, a dedicated doctor is still missing. He has missed two days of work so far, and another patient (this one gave birth) went missing… along with her baby.
Blood Bond Saga: Part 5 by Helen Hardt. Dante and Erin are still trying to put all the pieces together to understand the Blood Bond. Now they have the help of a ghost who just so happens to be Dante's father. Dante now has to come to terms with the fact that ghosts do exist and the fact his father is not only a ghost but is dead. Erin is concerned about Dante now that she knows he was taken by someone alibg with the realization of what really was happening the say she met him. Their attraction is steadily growing but Erin is still coming to terms with Dante being a vampire. Now more people are missing from the hospital and that has Erin on edge. The Queen is still lurking in the background. We still don't know who she is or what she wants. I am still hooked and can not wait to know where all this will end. Still so many unanswered questions. I need another book like right now. This story definitely has me by the throat and I can't get my next breath till I know what's going to happen. An really interesting story with an intriguing premise. 4 stars for me.
I thought Part 4 was great, but Part 5 was even better, it was exceptional. Finally Ms Hardt has given some answers to the questions that have been running through my mind. new characters have been introduced to the story, upping the mystery and intrigue that was already present.
Dante's father is now in the picture, or rather his father's ghost is, and he is helping them unravel the mystery confronting them. Now that Erin knows the truth regarding Dante's abduction, she becomes more worried about him and his sate of mind. Dante is worried about Erin and who s feeding from her. People are beginning to go missing from the hospital where Erin works and this has her concerned. Why is it happening? Who is involved? Is the Queen still waiting to pounce? What control does she have over Dante?
Yet again another brilliant instalment. So much going on and still so much to learn ... hurry up Part 6.
The bond between Dante and Erin is getting stronger. Dante, still trying to figure out who kidnapped him all those years ago, AND, who's feeding off, Erin are emotions within him, that are growing stronger each day. Only for him to turn up short at every turn. The ghost that, Erin had encountered first in book 4, turns out to be, Dante's dad. He's there, to watch over Dante, and now Erin, because they were now bonded together, forever. The challenge is still there for, Erin to find out what was going on with the missing patients, AND, she still hasn't gotten to the bottom of the reason for the need of so much B+ blood. GAH!!! Helen, there are so many questions I have, and now, with you being the queen of cliffhangers (I wouldn't change you for the world) I have to wait for book 6 for those answers. Yet again, 5 stars is what this book is getting from me, and the entire series should get 100 stars, for being so fabulous.
Omg. This is one of my favorite Paranormal romance for this year. I have read a few books from this talented author but she continues to blow my mind. This is the fifth part of the amazing Blood Bond series. You need to read these books in order or you will be completely lost. I was hooked on the first page and I could not stop. I devoured this incredible story in one sitting.
This book starts right where the last one ends. Erin is still trying to wrap her head around what is going on. She loves Dante but can she love the real him. Erin is learning that the disappearances might be due to some other vampires in the town. When a person from Dante’s past comes to help them she is shocked again that everything she believed is totally wrong. They have to find a Vampire Textbook to see what this Blood Bond means for the both of them. Will they find the answers they are looking for or will they find danger instead?
William Shakespeare wrote, “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, then are dreamt of in your philosophy.” This concept is illustrated beautifully by Ms. Hardt in this next phase of Erin and Dante’s story. Each one has questions and the answers are a challenge to find. Erin is doing things contrary to her nature as she believes it will help Dante. Dante has done his best to explain certain things to Erin but he is holding back. A surprise awaits Dante to help guide him to his true purpose but will he have the necessary faith and trust he needs? One must not forget the Queen who captured Dante and is still invading his thoughts….Oh what a tangled web is weaved with this fifth book of the series that keeps the reader hanging on every word and begs the question of who can be trusted? This is one mesmerizing read that will have you on the edge of your seat salivating for the next part of Erin and Dante’s adventure. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
Talk about suspense, this book keeps you wanting more. The more I read the deeper I get hooked.
Dante and Erin work together to try and get an understanding of what this Blood Bond which has them connected forever. We find out who the person Erin was seeing is actually a ghost and is there to protect Dante but since she is connected to him the ghost is there to protect her as well. Dante learns from the ghost and struggles to come to terms with it and the ghost is a big part of him.
There are more questions needing to be answered. We also start to see more characters coming into the story and it is really getting interesting as they have their own stories.
Dante and Erin's connection is still strong and the bond is growing thicker over time. The passion, chemistry and lust continues to heighten and things get more intense. Can't wait to find out more and see what Helen has in store for these two. Highly addictive
Dante is hell bent on finding more information from the ancient Vampyre Texts but some force is trying to stop him. He's desperate for answers and his and Erin's life depends on it.
Erin tried so hard to resist Dante but giving in seems like the only thing that'll bring her relief. But she still can't seem to come to terms with Dante's truth. Unfortunately, more vampires have been lured by her scent and she's in more danger now than ever.
YOU GUYS SHIT JUST GOT REAL!!
I had goosebumps reading this book. It's so good and I am officially addicted. The suspense got more and more intense and it felt like the book ended too soon. Erin and Dante are fighting so hard for their HEA and I just want to fight everything and give it to them.
There's still a few more books to go and I am getting scared because why why can't they just love each other and be happy and live on a peaceful beach? I can't even imagine what more is in store for them but I'm sure as hell excited.
AHH the tensions are rising. HELEN, what are you doing to us? I LOVE IT!!
Erin is still in the process of trying to understand everything that is going on. So much has happened and her whole world has changed. Things she never believed in are a reality. Dante proves that daily. Now that she knows the truth about him it has put her in danger. She is trying to process and needs time, however, now that she knows that is not really an option.
With every answer you get you are also left with just as many questions. A surprising source surfaces that will help Dante get some of the mystery and questions surrounding him. So much is happening that they are both questioning... Why are people disappearing? Where are they going? Who is after her?
This is nothing short of amazing. Helen Hardt really is brilliant in her abilities to tell amazing stories.
Part 5 has been the most intense so far. Dante and Erin have so many strange things happening around them. Strange behavior from family members, ghost sightings, voodoo priestess' with "the sight", the many disappearances from the hospital where Erin works. Erin has been researching the disappearing patients and has found that all are B positive. The voodoo high priestess is seeing evil around them and Erin has seen a ghost that just might be important to their future.
I'm not even sure what to say about Part 5. It is a roller coaster ride of emotions, questions and answers. This is one of the things I love about Helen Hardt's writing style. She gets you so tied up in the story you can't quit until you have consumed it all as you must find out all the answers. Loving every page of this saga.
Blood Bond Saga Part 5 & is the next to the last book in the series. Wow what a road this book/series has taken us on. As we are nearing the conclusion of this series it has amped up the happenings!
Erin and Dante’s story continues. Erin knows what Dante is, a Vampire. Dante is really becoming a Dominant and Erin can’t resist him, she submits willingly. Oh, did I say how HOT this book is? Part 5 has suspense & mystery mixed in as Dante hunts for an answer about the blood bond. His father is in the picture as a ghost who is out to protect Dante.
I can’t wait for more of this story and the conclusion in Part 6. Thankfully it will be out soon!
