I absolutely love boxed sets!! Especially when it comes to audiobooks!!
This is the complete collection of the Divine Fate series. It includes three books and I must admit that I breezed through the collection pretty quick. I thoroughly enjoyed the narrator, Natalie Naudus. She did a fabulous job portraying all of the characters and seriously brought this world to life.

If you enjoy listening to books about angels and demons this is the series for you. It was different from others and I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed how it also help perhaps the reader the question everything and not just follow the crowd. Think for yourself. This book did have a bit of romance. I mean, you gotta meet Marek!! He is the perfection. I’m glad we were able to delve a bit into his past as well as Ryn’s. I highly recommend this series and the audiobook. It was fantastic!!

Listened to this box set on Audible. For details on voice and performance, check Audible reviews.

The story starts off interesting after there is a fight at or rather, after some people get into a fight when they want to leave a party. That fight is the only thing that is common and contemporary in the entire series lol! When things escalate, the real story begins. Seems there’s more to Ryn than she ever realised. She’s thrusted in a world of angel like-beings and demons. So she realises that the things she has been seeing her whole life are not hallucinations but the very demons of the supernatural world she had stumbled into.
I love the characters, the backgrounds on sidecharacters and everything about the storyline and I constantly wanted to know what happened next so I have to confess I was very antisocial throughout the whole trilogy lol.
Just found out there will be a spin-off or a continuation of this world, the first book in the new series (called Divine Descendants) starting 25 years after the conclusion of this trilogy. Can’t wait to dive backin this world!

I'm just going to lump it all in together instead of doing one for each book. I received a free arc for an honest review for which I gratefully thank the author. I was excited to read these books because I've been interested in Angels vs. Demons for a long time. I think I fell in love with Marek at first read. The moment he was described, I knew he was important in some way and he'd have some kind of effect on me. It took a little longer for me to get used to Ryn. Not because she was a terrible person or anything, I just felt like I needed something else from her character. By the end of the first book, I got it. I think everybody needs a friend like Allie. Someone friendly, good, and who always has your back. Kyle annoyed me at times but it wasn't really his fault. I just didn't agree with his trigger-happy ways. My emotions were pulled in all kinds of directions. There were even a couple of moments when I cried for some of the characters and what was happening to them. I really like the way that it ended. I got a sense of closure and I wasn't left with questions other than the standard "do they live happily ever after?" and others like that. The point is, hop on the feel trip and join the ride. This is a great series that you are sure to love if you like paranormal fantasy with a splash of romance, action, and a smidgeon of adventure.

The Divine Fate box set includes all three books in the series about the battle between angels and demons with the fate of the world at stake! Below is a review of one of the books as an example of what you’ll find in this exciting set

>>> Reviewing “CHOSEN BY GRACE – BOOK 1” <<<
Ryn Tyler could always see demons but, since she thought they weren’t real, she stopped noticing them. Driving up to a farmhouse where music was blaring, kids were dancing, and others gathered outside near a fire pit, Ryn suddenly spotted one of the hooded figures. She had thought she was over those nightmares. Allie, who was driving, asked what was wrong – but the figure had disappeared.

Ryn felt uncomfortable seeing the drinking, even more so when Kyle tried to give her a drink and Allie pushed her to drink it. She coughed as the shot burned down her throat. Allie dragged her off to dance and she spotted a tall guy in the corner. Their gazes met and she couldn’t look away. Then Allie told her a creep was approaching them. Ryn told him they were not interested and thought it was over. But as they left to go home, he came toward them from the fire pit and would not back off this time. Ryn was about to punch him when everyone backed away from her and she saw that her hand and arm were glowing as a white orb rose from her palm!

Tad, the bully, suddenly tackled Ryn to the ground, but he was dragged off and she saw two guys fighting. Her tall hero, James Marek, had come to the rescue! He then helped her get Allie to the car while reprimanding her for her blatant display of power. She had no idea what he was talking about, which frustrated him even more. But two of the hooded figures came toward them remarking that the young angels had come to play. Ryn thought she was dreaming and could not believe Marek saw them too!

Ryn finds out that she is a Davina. Her purpose is to be a protector for humans. But she is something more than expected – she is unique. Apparently the line between the realms may be thinning and, even if they find the portal posing the threat, it would require an Original’s power to close it. Grace was the last Original remaining. This is why the Power of Grace is so important – and Ryn is the only one who can awaken it! Marek must try to keep her safe as they uncover the path set before her.

This book will keep the reader eagerly reading to see what happens next. The good news is that, with this box set, the reader won’t have to wait for the next book – you have it all here!

Summary:

Ryn has never fit in any place she lived and they moved frequently. That is until Ryn’s Mom allowed her the choice. One game of chance leads Ryn to her new town where she finally understands what and who she really is. Ryn has always seen demons, but no one believed her until she meets Marek who saves her life. Marek not only sees the demons, but with his help she enters a world that she never expected.

All is not perfect in Ryn’s new school. From a war with demons to school bullies, magic school is not that different from normal school if you take away the danger.

This is a wonderful, fast paced series that takes the reader of a journey into Ryn’s life as she struggles to find her place in her new world. The fight between angels and demons may not be exactly what you think and it may take Ryn to find her way and save the day. I enjoyed Ryn’s feisty personality as she took on situations that would baffle most people. Ryn’s growing relationship with Marek gave her the support to take her new life one day at a time.

The audio-book format brought each character to life for the readers enjoyment.

I have to give this series 5 stars for the original way this author has used her imagination and then talented enough to be able to turn her thoughts into a series that offers you insecurities but inspiration, love but hate, bitterness and sweetness, horror and beauty, This story follows the life of one girl who goes from being a lonely teenager, who has been constantly moved around the world by her mother, who can’t seem to settle in one place long enough to grow roots. However when Ryn choose this last destination, it not only changes her, but also suddenly the fate of the world is in her hands. We watch her grow in confidence with the help of the friendships she forms, then shocks herself and them, when their secrets, become her own. She has been chosen to find something that has been missing since the beginning of time.. The world she becomes apart of has eons of history, but will they listen, when they need to change. Life and death & war becomes much to real, will her new friends and the boy she has started to fall in love with, stay and fight or will they leave. Alicia Rades gives you a fascinating series with not only a twist on Angels & Demons, but one that easily transports you into the world they are fighting for. You can sense and feel each emotion, which is another quality that keeps you glued to the pages until the bitter end. This is a captivating, engrossing, entrancing series, with surprise, turnabouts and deflections in every book. This is a author who has truly earned her place in the YA fantasy genre

Chosen by Grace: Divine Fate Trilogy (Davina Universe Book 1), my first read from author Alicia Rades and it was a page-turner. I don't do spoilers so you'll have to read blurbs for those. Rades character development is excellent. She creates first a primary character and then a supporting cast that the reader gets invested into. Coupled with a somewhat unique plot the book becomes a page turner that you can't wait to complete and then get into the next book.
Touched by Grace: Divine Fate Trilogy (Davina Universe Book 2), my second read (back to back) from author Alicia Rades. The story continues seamlessly from Chosen by Grace Book 1. Coupled with a somewhat unique plot the book becomes a page turner that you can't wait to complete and then get into the next book.
Awakened by Grace: Divine Fate Trilogy (Davina Universe Book 3), my third read from author Alicia Rades. The story continues seamlessly from Touched by Grace: Book 2. Coupled with a somewhat unique plot the book becomes a page turner that you can't wait to complete. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Another interesting fantasy trilogy for young adults!

This was an interesting series with unexpected twists and turns. There are a couple of things I felt detracted from the book. First there were a number of grammatical errors that should have been caught by editors when reviewing the book before publication that made it difficult to read at times. Secondly, I do not believe the cursing was appropriate or necessary in that it really did not contribute to the plot of characters and the book would actually have been better had the cursing been left out. I would only suggest this as appropriate for upper age high school students due to the sexual innuendo in the content and the language. The plot and story line were great and very interesting without the language and sexual innuendo. Just my opinion.

Fantastic Series! A "read it till its complete!" series.
This trilogy was fantastic. The series is about angels and demons but has quite a unique outlook and take on angels and demons. The storyline is fast-paced and has you turning page after page.
The end of the world is approaching and it is up to our heroine Ryn and her friends to attempt to stop it. The angels, "Davina", have been fighting the demons, "Aedes", for a long time and war seems imminent. Ryn, who has just discovered that she is a Davina, does not quite believe that everything is quite as black and white as all seem to think it is. Whilst learning her new abilities she also has face-off against new enemies whilst holding on to the precious new friends she has gained. There seems to be romance blossoming in the air but with war looming, will it bloom?

So they’re angels and demons, but not really. This was an interesting twist on the concept, and it does a good job of building on that world. What I find the most interesting is that woven throughout is the idea that neither side is all good or all bad. The waters are muddy, as often is the case in real life. This added a level of believability to the story that helped it along. The core characters of Ryn, Merrill, Ally, and Ethan are a good team, and Fletcher makes a good mentor, though he only makes the occasional appearance. Nothing here is earth shattering, but it was an interesting story, and was brought to a satisfying conclusion.

I received this audiobook free in exchange for my fair and honest review.

I really enjoyed this series. I listened to the audio and it was prefect. The author created a world that was very interesting, and had a very different take on the normal 'angels vs demons'.

I love being able to listen to a completed series in one. This series didn't disappoint.

The series is about Ryn, the new girl in town. She learns that the monsters she has been seeing her while life are real, and that she has angel blood in her. Throughout the series Ryn learns about the angels and demons still on Earth. She learns that she is special and can help save the Divina (angels). Of course there is a love interest, and a BFF.

This series was fun to listen to, definitely a great series to get lost in.

What a ride!

This series isn't just a good vs evil, but so much more. It's about giving everyone a chance to do the right thing. We all have the choice whether or not to listen to our inner voice and by doing so we can come up with options that help not just ourselves but others as well. I think that this is a great series for teens to read to discover that there are rights and there are wrongs and that it they listen for that voice inside of themselves, they can make choices that work to help keep themselves and others from harm. It's not just about doing what you want as much as it is doing what's right for all. And usually, that's the hardest choice of all.

Can't say I was hoping for more.

Can't say I was hoping for more because I actually got what I wanted. Rated 5-Stars but even still I would like to read an adult instead of coming of age version. Awesome lead, and other characters as well. Great "world" and plot, a really good length. It feels complete and happy for where it finished. Not too short or too long, both in word count and story. A really good lore, although it could have a little more human / mundane involvement quite easily, not sure if that is the intention or just my view. Definitely on the book's to read list.

What a unique twist on a guardian angel storyline. The characters were well developed and each had a voice of their own. The author nailed the heroine, someone who has no idea what they are and has been thrust into an unknown world. Some people may dislike the questioning that she constantly does but that's exactly how someone in that situation would , and I loved her character! That main character is a true heroine and not just someone who rides in on the coattails of the hero. A must read for guardian angel lovers!!

I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.

It took me a little while but to get into but once I did I enjoyed this take on angels and demons. Especially the concept that not either side is truly good or bad. Ryn the main character has been thrust into this world having had a rather turmoil filled youth herself which makes her character very interesting. The depth of description of this world is very interesting. Especially the further you go and more information revealed.

Such a great trilogy. I've always enjoyed stories with angels and demons. Ryn's character was well written and you could really relate to her story. Learning that she's the Davina, the protector of humans throws a new loop into her life. Finding the truth of the path set before her makes her and the others such a great storyline. Well worth the read.

Excellent series

This left me feeling hope for our own world. Yes, a work of fiction but the underlying truth of what happening in our world cane through for me. We all need to put old hates aside and work together. Loved this series.

Chosen by Grace:
For most of her life, Ryn and her mom pick up and move each year to a new place of her mom's choosing. After she was in a bad car accident, her mom let her pick the next place to live. Ryn pick a place called Eagle Valley, somehow fate brought her here. After her and her new best friend are being harassed by some guy, her past comes back and she's holding a ball of light. Ryn has to learn what she truly is but with the Demons out for revenge will she learn how to use her power before someone else gets hurt? Enjoyed this book and look forward to reading book two in this series.

Touched by Grace:
Now that Ryn knows her purpose for coming to Eagle Valley, her and her friends must find Grace so they can wake her and save the world. But their enemies are closer than they think. Not all make it out when a fight breaks out. Will they be able to wake Grace before the Aedes' attack? Can't wait to read the final chapter in this book!

Awakened by Grace:
Ryn is able to wake Grace but she isn't what she expected. Grace is hiding something and it could mean the end as they know it. There is a way to stop the portal but the way is not what they think. But will they figure it out in time before the portal destroys Malum and Earth? Grace isn't any help and is ready for the end and has accepted it as their fate but Ryn isn't ready to lose everyone in her life quite yet.

Audiobook Version: Devine Fate: The Complete Series

A YA Urban Fantasy series that is artistic as well as blood-tingling. The author provided well detailed world building descriptions and settings which accentuates the fantasy world. Character's are complex & well seasoned. Everything flows through smoothly from book one to book three. The narrative is majestic and intertwines twists through out the fantasy. The narrator was able to capture the essence of the fantasy world & bring character's to life. My only complaint is some of the supporting characters voices were a little rough and could use some work. Overall, a well crafted YA Fantasy Series that is gripping & fabulous to listen to.
