Wow. This book was just not for me. It was downright silly. Unbelievable. And awkward.
Considering the title? I had assumed it wouldn’t be a masterpiece of literary brilliance. I mean, come on. But it was worse than the bad I was expecting.
The H was a man child. Literally. He was supposed to be like, 40 years old. And yet his daddy controls his every move. Basically an overgrown teenager. He freely admits to being a bad influence on his niece and nephew, yet encourages their stupidity. Because he wants to be the ‘fun uncle’ and whatever, he likes to party too, so why not? His decision to leave the h was the most fuck boy move ever. He literally ghosts this little girl because his daddy told him to. Not even a friendly ‘best of luck’ hand shake. Total douche bag.
The h was more adult than the H, and half his age. However, she did fall into the ‘he popped my cherry, now I looooooove him’ trap of bullshit. And then she just takes him back a year later.... for no reason. He ghosts her for money & because daddy said so, and that’s good enough? Yeah, no thanks.
Soooooo so so bad.

This is a hot and sexy older man/younger woman romance. Well written book offers characters with super steamy chemistry and an engaging plot. Can their romance last for longer than the summer? Read this entertaining read to find out. I'm posting a voluntary, honest review after reading this book.

Drama!!!
I really liked this story. It had lots of drama, twists, and more drama. I was just wishing for a bit more at the ending. But it does not change the fact this was is a well written book.

This....this was not good.
I was going through my kindle unlimited books and I'd had this one the longest so I decided to read this one.
The heroine...I can't even remember her name right now, was ok, there were some things that annoyed me about her, like how fast she forgave Hunter, and how much she pinned over him. But for the most part she was ok.
Hunter however...he's no alpha, he's a jerk and not boyfriend or husband material, he's an almost 40 year old guy who is being led around by the nose by his daddy.
One of the many things that bothered me as I was reading this was after their first kiss...second? whatever, after one of their mini-make-out sessions the narrative just completely skips over the middle part. They go from kissing at the beginning of the summer, to it being almost the end of the summer and they've had many secret meetings and a lot of sneaking around and we're on her last couple of days of her summer.
And of course the ending, It's like the author/authors looked at their word count and just thought, crap, we can't go over a certain word count and had to end it abruptly.
Also, I found it so jarring when the heroine, again, I still can't remember her name but I don't care enough to look for it, would refer to her mom as Susan quite a few times in that first chapter. I never refer to my mom as her name, it's always Mom.

A Collection of Stories
Okay, so first I have to say that I loved the stories in this book! They all penetrated my imagination, no pun intended, and gave me some very dirty fantasies that really turned me on. However, I had to give the book three stars because many of the stories seemed to end too quickly! These stories seemed to build up well but the "big events," while being good, could have been longer and better. The book could have had a little more ending, especially if there was going to be a second book. It could have clued you into what was to come. I also try not to rate based on grammar and spelling mistakes but I had to take a star off for the errors in the book. The errors often effected the story in and of itself. For instance, using a word that doesn't exist in a couple of cases, or sentences written more than once in a paragraph or worse, two sentences in a row that contradicted each other or were the incorrect sentence maybe, then supposed to be the corrected one. I found names of people in the wrong place which, if I had not figured out, would have made at least parts of the story just nonsensical. Anyway, there were just too many errors to overlook! If these were fixed, I could say the books are at least a solid 4 stars and MAYBE up to 4.5. I would recommend this book but be prepared for the errors!

Dani is visiting her cousins after graduating high school. She planned to have some fun but she had limited money so she wanted to be careful. Her cousin tells her not to worry about money that she'll take care of her. On her first night they go to a party and Dani feels like an outsider she ends up outside on the beach. When Hunter saw Dani he knew that he had to find out who she was. After learning she was going to be hanging out with his niece he tagged along on a shopping trip. The attraction between them is intense and they try to fight it but it isn't long before they give in. Hunter is older and makes Dani feel safe but will they be able to be together when they are more than just that obstacle in their way?
This was a great story and will keep your attention from beginning to end. The chemistry between Hunter and Dani is scorching hot. I can't wait to read more by these authors. Once I started this book I couldn't put it down. I would recommend this to any book lover.

I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review. This was a sweet and heart breaking romance between Daniella/Dani and Hunter. A younger bbw woman older man romance. Dani had a good head on her shoulders. She knew what she wanted out of college, to help the underprivileged. The summer before college she spent it with her wealthy cousin Justine. Justine's mother and Dani's mother were sisters. On her first night with her cousin she met Hunter.at a party. He was as attracted to her as she was to him. They spent every stolen moment of the summer together. He showed her, her first introduction into passion and making love. Then he left her without a goodbye or explanation. A year later they run into each other overseas where she was teaching the undereducated English. He was there working as his penance after leaving everything behind. Could Dani forgive him? Could they manage to be together again. Hunter still loved Dani with all his heart could he convince her to trust him again after breaking her heart? A very good read.

Did not enjoy but did finish it
I did not enjoy this book, I got it thru my kindle Unlimited thankfully so didn't waste any money just my time. I gave it 2 * because I did finish it, but I didn't read any of the other books that were after it. I really don't see how he was an alpha or "Dirty". The ending was extremely rushed, it wasn't very "hot" as some reviews said, and I thought the writing was disjointed. There were quite a few errors but if the story was written well I wouldn't have minded. Also a pet peeve why he kept calling her "the brunette" in his head?!? Who talks like that in their head???? And another pet peeve they kept going back and forth between calling their parents first name and then either mom or Dad was confusing and really served no point. I'm not sure if I will read from this author (or authors) again. But this is all my opinion, obviously some people enjoyed this book because of all the rave reviews. But I'm sorry to say I am not one of them.

I know this is a fictional short story and the subject matter may or may not be realistic but I am shaking my head in disappointment. This story had SO MUCH potential!!
I really hate to say this as I don't like giving bad reviews, but it was choppy, immature and downright cheesy! Don't get me wrong, I don't mind cheesy if it enhances the characters or the overall story.
I mean, aside from the sexual content and language, it almost reads like it was written by a teenager. The writing style was inconsistent, wishy washy...At one point it would flow really well and had good content then all of a sudden the flow was cut off stopping me in my tracks almost making me want to toss my Kindle across the room!!
But finish it I did.
I'd like to think that I have a pretty big open mind when it comes to a lot of things as not everyone is alike nor thinks the same way. Reading definitely being one. I really really tried to look past what I've written in this review, but I just simply can't. I'm sorry.

An Awesome Read!
I loved reading My Friend’s Dirty Uncle: A Taboo Second Chance Romance, all about Danielle is eighteen and she’s spending the summer with her wealthy cousin(Justine) that she grew up with as a child. But since her dad had died her and her mom had moved to CA after they lost everything. So now the summer before college she will be staying with Justine and her family in their mansion. First night there they go to a party and she meets Hunter Maddox a forty year old Billionaire that happens to be the uncle to Justine’s BFF who is throwing this party. The author wrote a story about a very poor young girl that falls in love with an older man who crushes her world! Read about Dani & Hunter and see what happens along the road we call life! Included in this book is five other stories written by the author that will have you howling at the moon! Read this story and enjoy reading about several young women who fall in love in strange circumstances but live amazing lives in the end! I hope you enjoy reading these stories because I certainly enjoyed them!

Yikes.
This whole story consisted of a 40 year old man whose behavior fit more into the late teen, early 20’s bracket. And a 18 year old woman who just annoyed me.
His reasons for being attracted to her were so shallow that it was unbelievable.
And the narrative of a gorgeous girl with a curvaceous and voluptuous body who doesn’t know that her body is gorgeous is played out. Can our heroines be aware of the fact that they are attractive for once? Or at least not be attracted to the first man who shows interest because they think they’re so ugly to everyone else?
I rolled my eyes throughout this whole story. I kept reading to see if it would get better but it was just more of the same.
Let us also address the fact that the authors wrote as if they didn’t know their character’s names. Repetitive phrases such as “The alpha”, “the brunette”, “the billionaire”, “my best girl”, “the busty brown eyed beauty”——these phrases made a mediocre story that much worse.

Quick read but ok
This was a quick read. Was an accident k romance but left you kind of hanging without a complete ending/quick ending. No it's not a cliffhanger just a short to the point ending. I have liked other books by Katie ford, but not fully impressed with this one. There was no full connection to the characters. The build up in the characters was more of a highlight the hen an in depth experience.

Dani is not rich like her cousins family. Dani and her cousin go to Kristi's for a summer party. While there, Dani is spotted by a hot older guy Hunter whom is Kristi's uncle. Hunter has never seen/been attracted to someone like Dani. He has to get to know her. Once the two start dating, hunter's family gives him a choice. The family company or the girl.

Another sexy hit by Katie Ford and Sarah May it’s an older man younger woman virgin romance. Dani goes to visit her wealthy cousins for the summer in the town of Coral Beach where the rich live. Dani is from the poor side of the family and it makes her really uncomfortable being around rich people. Dani goes to a party but she feels like that she doesn’t fit in so she goes outside to the beach, Dani’s and Hunter’s eyes meet and he wants to know who she is so when he finds out that she is going shopping with his niece he invites himself to go along. Hunter runs the family business so will he let the family come in between them both or is he just too old for her? If you want to know the answers then you will need to get this book. A great read and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

The story of Dani and Hunter is just pure young love. A billionaire takes only one look on a pure teenager and immediately fall in love for her. Their love ain’t normal to the outsider. Especially when is comes to their age and the background of their family. Dani is 18 years old and getting ready for college after the summer. She happen to meet Hunter and fell into with him very fast too. Their love is what every girl would imagine to have but pretty hard to walk till the end in real life.
All the best man - my gosh can’t possibly read through the story without getting a bit wet at all.
Afterall this is really interesting to read, give it a 4 star, recommended.

Dani visits her cousin over the summer. Both families used to be wealthy, but things happened and Dani became the poor relative. She meets Hunter who is twice her age at a summer party who’s held by his sisters children.
The connection between Dani and Hunter is both instant and intense. It holds on through the summer, but at the first bump on the road, Hunter lets it go. It seems that he’s still a kid - despite his age - when it comes to make adult decisions.
It was an entertaining and sometimes hot story, but I got a bit annoyed with Hunter.

Hunter was twice her age but about on the same maturity level so they fit well together. The virgin and the older man met one summer when Dani was visiting her wealthy cousins. Their chemistry was hot and he proved to be a good teacher in the 'naughty'. All was fine until his dad showed him a file and said choose - the business or the girl. He left her heartbroken. There's a second chance when they run into each other a year later. Does he choose her, do they get a second chance and how does Hunter's father play into the picture? Hot and hotter. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

So I was hoping for an older man with a young naive girl....well what I got was an old immature man child and a naive yet mature girl. I was expecting some dirty sex with a hot older man but the sex was lame and fuck they didn't even do it until almost the end, after she "fell in love" with him. Then he leaves her for money, no note, no call, no nothing. A year goes by and she takes a trip to India where he just so happened to move (as punishment.... I imagine India loved that). Then he admits that he fucked up and misses her and because his eyes looked sad she took him back?? Really? And that is how it ends.

“My Friend's Dirty Uncle” is an enjoyable fun read for a lazy afternoon. The story is very well done and the characters are interesting. I didn't particularly like Hunter's arrogant attitude and treatment of Dani. Dani is a young, inexperienced virgin of eighteen who is enthralled by Hunter the attractive, wealthy much older man. If your looking for a quick read with steamy sex, a surprising twist and of course a HEA, this book is for you. Katie Ford never disappoints.

I saw this on the new book boyfriends app and it looked like a good read.....but no. It follows the blurb but I have to say it didn't do anything for me. No chemistry....zero zip. Zilch...Hunter and Dani....the relationship didn't even seem feasible. I thought with all the five star reviews it would have been good, but the rich girls taking Dani out to shop, and the uncle showing up. Just didn't feel alpha to me. The writing had a childish feel to it. So. Have to at least give it one star but I took no entertainment from this book.

Not my cup of tea.
Dani and Hunter’s story seemed too rushed and fake. Hunter didn’t “feel” like an alpha male. More like a confused man child who worried about money more than those he “loves.” I was excited when I first started the story, but after they met, their relationship could be summed up in about 2 chapters. I was expecting a long summer romance with vivid detail, not a few pages saying they got close and then they slept together one time.
And I couldn’t get past chapter 3 on the 2nd novella.

This was a good read. Dani just graduated and is visiting her cousin for the summer before she starts college. Hunter is an older man who is running the family company. The night they meet their attraction is instantaneous. The have off the charts hot chemistry and a strong connection. Will their summer fling turn into something more after the summer? The characters are very likeable and most of the secondary characters are also likeable.

Katie Ford and Sarah May have written a taboo short story of an older man and younger woman. Dani and Hunter were explosive just from the start. While visiting with her cousin Dani meets Hunter at a party. The sparks flew between them instantaneously!! It’s hot…it’s sizzling (steamy)…it’s sexy as heck. Hmmmm….enough said…you really need to explore this story for yourself. How and will they get a HEA? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

There may be an age difference, but the chemistry is incredible between Dani and Hunter. Their story grabbed me immediately and I find it so engrossing and entertaining. It's fantastic getting to know them both. It's total magic and a joy to read as their attraction and love grows. I highly recommend this quick romance thanks to strong characters and an inventive plot. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.

The story of Dani and Hunter is a short but entertaining read. They meet through assorted relatives who are friends and the chemistry takes over until second chances are required.
I loved the characters and would have lived to read more about Dani and Hunter but I highly recommend this book. This is especially true for those who love older man younger woman romances with sweetness but also heat and leave it up to the reader if the character deserves a second chance.

Awful story. Extremely weak. Hunter, the “alpha” as Dani refers to him, is the weakest, most puerile forty year old man I’ve read about. Everything to do with Hunter - from his position with taking over his father’s company to his mother trying to set him up with a woman his age - would have been passable if he were 22/23 or so, but 40? No. Nope. No way.
I would shudder in revulsion and then laugh incredulously if I ever met all that in real life.

A short, sexy taboo story. An older man falls for his neice's friend and it's instant reaction on both sides. It's a great afternoon read. I really liked the characters with a fun plot. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
