If you ask someone to describe Wiley the answer would be... Wiley "is". Is all man, all heart, all fun, all courage, all about pleasuring a woman, and all "in" when he goes after something. He also is a mystery and not one that is easily solved. So, how is a woman supposed to resist that?
Ciana Stone has been reading since the age of three, and wrote her first story at age five. Since then she enjoyed writing as a solitary form of entertainment, before coming out of the closet to share her stories with others. She holds several post graduate degrees and has often been referred to as a professional student. Her latest fields of interest are quantum mechanics and Taoism. When she is not writing (or studying) she enjoys painting (canvas, not walls), sculpting, running, hiking and yoga. She lives with her longtime lover in several locations in the United States.
First, I want to thank Ciana Stone for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
I have found a new Book Couple not just a new Boyfriend in Ciana Stone’s new book Wiley Johns Heartbreak & Hero’s Book Six!! Yes!! Wiley and Molly are my new fave couple of any of her books!! Both of them had amazing personalities that were off the charts sassy, funny and omg flirtatious!! Wiley just oozed sex appeal and you could see that on the cover of the book! But you could just tell by the way he acted and the way Molly was around him. Those two together made me smile ear to ear. You could not help love them together!
As with any of her books you need to read these in order or you wont know what is going on in the book. You will see familiar faces and get updates on former characters. One update I was very excited about!
This book had me cracking up laughing deviously!! Ciana had sayings like “Forget the horse and cowboy,” “There’s dirty then there’s dirty,” “It’s only kinky the first time.”
This book had a lot of sexual tones to it! I could definitely see myself hanging out with Molly and Wiley! They are definitely my kind of people! Heck, she does product testing and reviews sex toys!! Maybe I am in the wrong line of work reviewing books lmao!!
My heart melted when Molly’s daughter asked Wiley to be her and her Mommy’s hero! When you read the book you will understand why this is such a pivotal scene in the book. I started tearing up when she said this to him.
Seeing these two together and then with Kaylee makes me hate being single!!! I want a man like Wiley!!!
This may be book six in the series but you get to know Wiley better and visit with friends from previous stories. Wiley might be ex seal but he is just as commanding in presence and attitude, and his t shirts will throw you for a loop. Ciana Stone writes great stories of love and happiness but also of trial and tribulations that brings people closer together. I love that while reading Ciana's stories you get transported to a different place and life if only temporarily but the feelings and results stay longer.
Wiley is in Cotton Creek to mend fences with his brother Deacon and doesn't plan to stay long. What he doesn't expect is to meet Molly Little Fox laying on the sidewalk after tangling with a vine at her new home. Molly is on a mission to clear her yard and get her new home ready for the arrival of her five year old daughter, Kaylee, and her grandmother, Mercy. Molly is looking for a fresh start in a new town and is in no means looking for romance. The sizzling attraction is there from the first moment their eyes met. Molly has formed friendships she never thought she would have and fits in Cotton Creek like family. Their romance is fast paced and Wiley doesn't dare hope for the life and family he missed out on but he would do anything for Molly and Kaylee to see their happiness. When threats appear for this happy couple will it separate them from each other or bring them closer together?? Friends and family of Cotton Creek and Sanctuary are never far away to lend a helping hand and will leave no one behind!! A highly recommended story and series!!! Waiting for book seven!!!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book Thank you Ciana Stone
Cotton Creek sounds like the perfect place to live! Small town hospitality, kind and caring residents, great local bar and home of Sanctuary. If you are familiar with this series, you know some of the residents have "special abilities" and Wiley Johns is no exception.
This book is an opportunity to get to know Wiley in an up-close and personal way. And right from the beginning you see there is more to the man than his panty-melting good looks...he also has a great sense of humor as noted by the messages on his t-shirts!
CC's newest resident is Molly Little Fox. She is in the process of making her new home livable and the yard presentable before her daughter and her grandmother join her. Molly's "win" over the honeysuckle vine lands her smack dab in the middle of the sidewalk! Imaging her surprise when the first thing she sees as she is looking up from her supine position, is the man himself, Wiley Johns.
It doesn't take Molly long to figure out she might be in the perfect place where she could find real friends, make a new life and be happy. Things move quickly as Molly settles in with help from Wiley and his friends.
The military inhabitants are prepared to leave in a matter of minutes if called out on assignment and at times like this, it is important to focus on the assignment, not the heart.
This is a fast read filled with wonderful characters, chatty humor, and some serious challenges. And just about the time you exhale, whiplash! What can I say? Another great story with plenty of laughs, sighs, tension and of course, steam!
Favors LOL line: “Tequila? It makes my clothes fall off!”
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Wiley Johns (Bk 6) is fun, especially if you have read any of the other Heartbreakers & Heroes books in the series by Ciana Stone. A happy, pleasant, sometimes humorous story that weaves family, unapologetic romance and "semi-realistic" mysticism, into a slightly idealistic but happy tale. While the story is about Wiley, an ex Navy Seal, don't expect a hardcore bad*ss storyline. There is some action, but it's truly more of a small town romance with drama than a hardcore action military adventure. The heroine, Molly, is a cute fit for our intense hero Wiley ( a little too happy and flower child-like:) "...Molly twirled around in a fit of happiness, spinning like a child..." But overall a good read. As a personal preference, I like a story with a little less "feel good sweetness" and "preachy save the planet" tones and more sexual tension and angsty bite- but that's me. The storyline is solid, the writing smooth and flowing, and the inclusion of past characters is fun. I have read and happily given an honest review of this book.
Wiley Johns by Ciana Stone was an incredible story, this is book 6 and one heck of an addiction to this fantastic Heartbreakers and Heroes series. This was a fun and exciting story with some laughs, a few tears, some action a bit of suspense and definitely some love. This was one amazing read it had a bit of everything that just grabs hold of you and won’t let go till the very end. The characters are very likable and quite lovable, they are fun, loyal, independent and very caring. Molly is a single mother to an adorable 5 year old she is new to town and is getting there new home ready for them plus her grandmother. Wiley is a man who doesn’t stay in one place for long, he is a bit of a puzzle but he is loving, caring, sexy an all around great guy. So when he finds what he wants he goes for it. These two meet and from that first moment you can feel the undeniable chemistry and attraction. I absolutely recommend this great book it’s a must read, you don’t want to miss this incredible book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. I loved this book.
Ciana Stone has done it again with the newest addition to The Heartbreakers and Heroes series. Wiley Johns is a rollercoaster ride of emotions that will have a laughing, crying, shaking your head and falling in love with one little girl who steals every scene she is in.
Wiley Johns, Navy SEAL, younger brother to Deacon Johns and has paranormal abilities. While on leave Wiley comes to Cotton Creek to mend his relationship with his brother Deacon and lend a hand at Sanctuary, a rehabilitation facility and training camp for all branches of military. Out walking Wiley meets the newest resident of Cotton Creek Molly Little Fox. Molly is a single mother trying to get her new house ready for her daughter and grandmother before they come. While wrestling a honeysuckle plant out of her yard she successfully wins but ends up flat on her back on the sidewalk. When she opens her eyes she can't believe the drop dead gorgeous man staring down at her. Molly and Wiley have this instant attraction that has Molly agreeing with Wiley who offers his help getting the house ready for her family.
Wiley figured that he would never have what he truly wanted- a family and love. The woman he loved was also his brother's wife. By the time he figured out that she was using him, it was too late. There was a rift and he didn't know what to do to fix it. When he visited his brother, to make amends, he also learned that his niece was actually his daughter, although they never let his brother know. When he meets Molly, he is instantly captivated. Molly is trying to start a new life for her, her daughter, and her mother. When she meets Wiley she is drawn to him. She wants to take it slow, but realizes she had deeper feelings for him when he goes on a mission. Once Molly's daughter is introduced, my heart melted. He was so good to her and loved her like his own right away. When a nightmare comes true for any parent, I loved seeing Wiley step up for his family, even though he only wanted them to be his family at that point. An awesome book that deals with real-life situations. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.
Great addition to the series, these SEALS will make you want to pack up and move to Cotton Creek. I am still bashing in the fantasy & wishful thinking this story provokes. Wiley is "the man" not only a very sexy heartbreaker, his relationship with Trina and how they handle that situation in the previous book really touches the heart and is an example of the love in his heart, his compassion and willingness to sacrifice for others. I think he gives and gives so much of himself to help him not think about lost love and maybe even a little loneliness. The author found his perfect match, considering his abilities, Molly is a great character, humorous and wholesome, she has a lot in common with him but she also fills a desire in his heart that will force him to open his heart to her, all or nothing. Very heart-wrenching story that is a roller-coaster ride from happy tears to shock to sadness to tears of joy. Love this and love all the great characters and their "family" support system.
I think this book is my new favorite in the Heartbreakers & Heroes series.
Wiley and Molly fit so well together. He appreciated her sassy attitude, she appreciated his talking t-shirts, and they both loved to flirt with each other. They also had a great sense of humor.
I don't think almost anyone could help falling in love with Kaylee. She was smart, sweet, and had some of her mother's sass. Elisi was the foundation that held their small family together until Wiley Johns came along and joined them.
I started reading this book and didn't stop until the end. It was fun, funny, sweet, and sexy. Even through a couple of tense moments, you knew that Wiley would save the day using the paranormal abilities he shared with Molly, Elisi, and Kaylee.I
A small town romance full of love, faith, fammily , friends, a little bit of magic. It left me with a smile on my face.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy.
Ms. Stone has delivered yet another gripping piece of storytelling with an intricate storyline so finely woven it comes as a shock when you realise you're not actually in Cotton Creek and these are NOT your friends and family. Once again we receive the gift of new friends to join the ones made in the previous novels which, although can all be read as standalones, each add just an extra emphasis to the unfolding delight. In this new adventure we are skilfully and sensibly led across some sensitive areas without any negativity or insensitivity and the story is only enhanced by its inclusion. The instantaneous, intense, off-the-charts explosive passion is a great start and the action and intrigue that follows keeps you flipping pages frantically to keep up with the unfolding drama. I highly recommend this book and series to anyone looking for a great storyline, fantastic characters and a favourite little town to call their own.
I am so loving this series, this book is every bit as good as the proceeding ones and it had me on the edge of my seat. You can not help but love Wiley. We meet him when he comes to Cotton Creek trying to put things right with his brother Deacon and when he meets Molly he has to rethink what he really wants out of his life. I loved the interactions between Molly and Wiley, neither of them are looking for a relationship but then aren’t some of the best things in life a total surprise.
This was so well written, I was totally captivated and I really could not put this one down, I so wish Cotton Creek existed I would love to visit!
I read an ARC of this book ad am voluntarily writing this review.
Wiley Johns is book 6 in the Hearbreakers and Heroes series by Ciana Stone and like always it will capture you from the first page.
Wiley Johns has come to Cotton Creek to make things right with his brother, Deacon with the hopes of bringing his family back together. He meets Molly Little Fox and the sparks fly from the start but when her daughter and grandma finally move in things get hotter on many levels!! He sees a future family he thought he would never have but there are challenges ahead for them.
This book takes you to the edge of your seat with laughter, tears (get the Kleenex ready), twists, turns, steam, romance and our wonderful friends from the prior books to help bring on the HEA for Molly and Wiley!!
Wiley is my favorite "hero" is the Heartbreakers & Hero series. I always love visiting the residents of Cotton Creek. I fell in love with Wiley in "Brody Judge", he loved and lost. Molly is a free spirit and I loved that she says and does what she feels. This was not just a love story between Molly and Wiley but with the community as well, but the heat between these two is smoking. I found the book to be another well-written story with amazing characters that are adults. I am not a fan of PNR books and this one has a touch of unusual abilities that I found totally believable and really enjoyed it. I can recommend this book if you like a hot love story with some surprises and a bit of angst.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and I also purchased a copy.
WOW!! Wiley was not a huge favorite of mine while reading Brody Judge (at least not at the beginning). But Ms. Stone just has a style of writing that just draws you in and makes you fall in love with the heroes that she writes about. I became enthralled with Wiley's and Molly's story. I just loved the t-shirts that he wore and really looked forward to laughing out loud with Molly with all of the sayings. My heart also just fell for little Kaylee. What a precious little one!
This story was enchanting. It was hard to put down and seemed shorter than it was as I didn't want it to end. I look forward to the next book and I truly hope Linc also gets a story!!!
Loved the chemistry between the main characters Molly Little Fox and Wiley Johns. She’s half Cherokee and half white, he’s all man. Molly decides to move to Cotton Creek with her grandmother and her precious daughter Kaylee, who is the product of a night Molly spent with Kaylee’s father shortly before he passed away. Molly’s spent the last five years devoted to raising her daughter and away from a romantic life until she falls for Wiley Johns, literally. I laughed over Wiley’s shirts and was swept up by the connection between the two. The secondary characters were well developed and I was intrigued by the story line until it became a little tedious with the dangers facing Wiley in his job and then Kaylee’s disappearance so soon after.
Be still my heart...Ciana Stone has done it again with Wiley Johns, book 6 in the Heartbreakers & Heroes series. We’re talking over the top heat, with pure sex on a stick!! Dang—you’ll be hot and bothered from page one clear to the end. No small town should have that much super maleness in it...not to mention a kickass storyline; characters that can melt your clothes right off; unique twists and turns; and a HEA that will have you crying your eyes out with joy. Grab your copy today!! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and literally could not put it down. Read it cover to cover as soon as I got it!) ❤️❤️❤️
I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Wiley Johns. I was caught from the beginning till the end . What a wonderful story. While is a true hero and sexy as sin . Molly is a beautiful soul inside and out . The chemistry between the two of them is off the charts . I love how the characters from the other stories are included in this story as secondary characters . I really enjoy the old characters included in this story. This Is so well written and very intertaining . There's some action , suspense , a little bit of everything. I highly recommend taking the time to read this unique romance .
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest The characters + storytelling were very captivating Molly is just starting over in a new city. She is trying to get everything ready before her daughter + grandmother will come to live with her. I have to say that Wiley is not just a hottie, but he also has a heart of gold. ( I know, super cheesy ! ) The author pulls you into her world + she does not intend to let you go The storytelling + the character's build were awesome! It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book! I can't wait for the next book in the series!
This is one that I was anxious to get into because Wiley was one that picked at my curiosity with his character. In here he meets one that picks his with other areas also crossing paths when a bit of dirt was involved. Molly captures your attention right away with also having those she cares about rounding her out. The touch of mysterious also lends a lining in this that wraps around them with you cuddling further into this story. Of course there are the ones that have you mumbling a time or two who lend the drama to balance it out. The chemistry sears them with you following every bit of this one to the very end.
Who doesn't love those hot sexy heroes from Cotton Creek? Wiley Johns gets his story as he meets Molly Little Fox in the cutest way. Molly is a woman that fits perfectly in Cotton Creek and Wiley certainly takes notice. There is so many emotions to this story with laughs, drama, sexiness, and surprises that had me, as a reader, wiping the tears. The emotions, the continuity of the story, and the characters gives the reader a feeling as if they are a part of this unique town. A standalone and an absolute great read, I would like to thank Ari and Candid Book Reviews for gifting me "Wiley Johns (Heartbreakers & Heroes Book". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 5 Easy Stars!
This is a beautiful story, it's filled with love, laughter and tears. Along with some angst and suspense. I love Wiley, he is so sweet, kind, generous, strong and brave. Molly is sweet, tough, loving and tough. They share the same wish for their lives, and are beyond happy that they finally found it. Each story in this series is sweeter and more romantic than the last. I can't wait to read the next one. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
Wiley Johns is the latest of the Heartbreakers and Heroes in Ciana Stone’s latest series. Wiley is the younger brother of Deacon Johns from book 4. Wiley meets the newest resident of Cotton Creek, Molly who is preparing the home she just bought for her daughter Kaylee and grandmother Mercy. Molly and her grandmother bring Native American mysticism and magic to mesh with Wiley’s skills. How there are so many hot and sexy men in this one little Texas town amazes me. Loved it! Oh, and you will absolutely LOVE his T-shirts with their sayings!
Just a deep breath. This book will take you through some emotion. The author took the time to build up the story base to engage the reader's mind and emotions so that you could experience to a degree what the characters were going through.
There may be a trigger or two for people that my have lost a child to cancer or natural causes or a family member to military discord. The author does not dissect those subjects in depth within this book but keeps it casual.
Overall this book is a great addition to the series. I do recommend starting with the first book even though each is stand-alone in order to get a better understanding of the characters and their evolution.
I have voluntarily read and reviewed this book without obligation to the author.
Wiley and Molly just grabbed you from the beginning and kept you going every time you turned the page. Mercy and Kaley were absolutely the best Kaley had you laughing. crying and mad with what was going on with her, she stole this story from the time we met her until she was done. Recommend. Good storyline, wonderful characters. Adult content. I am voluntarily reviewing this book which was a gift from the author without obligation.
I liked the book, but not quite as much as some of the others in the series. I have already added Gray Horse to my calendar and look forward to reading it.
I read the excerpt from A Matter of Trust that was at the end of Wiley Johns and was hooked by those 2 chapters. Went to Amazon to see when it would be available and was very happy to see that it is already available. Just borrowed it from Kindle Unlimited :)
I absolutely love the storyline and the characters. The little bit of mystery and the Paranormal and of course finding the one true love. However, and it may just be me, but the editing is a real distraction. It's like somebody threw up "Commas" and "And" all over & in the wrong places. For me personally it is a real distraction, but again, it may just be me but I sure wish I could help with your editing! LOL
He comes there for one reason and ends up with a surprise addition to it. A good one though. When you are not looking for something it usually shows up and changes your life. This is the first one for me to read. I should go back to the first one and read on. It is exciting, suspenseful, emotional and so much more. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
Wiley accepted that he would always be a loner, and then he met Molly . A darling little lady named Kaylee sealed the deal! Cotton Creek proves to be the perfect means of healing wounded warriors and leading them to their happily ever after. Really love this series.
What an amazing love story about a military man who meets a woman who recently moved into town. Both are totally interesting characters in their own right but tonight they are a force to be reckoned with. He struggles with a heavy past of sorrow and regret. She is a person of positive nature and virtual happiness.
Love transcends all is the best description I could give this book.
Wiley has always long for a family. He comes across Molly while she is gardening. They have instant chemistry. Imagine his surprise on learning she has a daughter. They have to overcome their own insecurities to reach a HEA.
