I waited a few months before I was able to get a copy of this book to read from my local library - it is that popular. Why? I have no idea. There is nothing original about this diet except that it is named after a couple of Hollywood-types with huge egos, which is very obvious throughout the book.
I didn't find anything new or original about the recipes as well.
My takeaway - eat your meals within an 8 hour time frame; exercise whenever possible, and take supplements if required. You know that you have to "look hot" according to the authors. Good gosh, I will be returning this book to the library now.
Disappointing- dubrow copied other books about intermittent fasting and information is at basic level. Book can be read in one hour tops. Key points eating window 8 hours fasting 16- exercise every day and eat healthy food. Hard to believe doctor wrote this.
My husband bought this book at the Edmonton International Airport because he is interested in following this diet. I started reading this book in the airport and finished reading it on the flight home. I think this eating lifestyle will work for people who don’t want to or care to eat breakfast. What is interesting to me is the fasting involved and the science behind what it takes for the body to use stored fat. My husband and I will do this together!
