I couldn’t stop reading

If you’re a fan of maze runner, divergent, shadow and bone, and the hunger games, you’ll enjoy Mortality.

I really enjoyed Ava’s transformation in this series. She started out living as a shell of who she could be, buried under a nation’s expectation of how she should feel, act, think. When a barbaric tradition proved she was different, she fought to become so much more than what she was labeled.

I loved Everly’s world building between the three different nations. The history she slowly revealed as the series continued enriched the story being told in present day.
I loved the animals and plants that lived in the world, they all were written with a personality that felt unique for each one.
I loved seeing how different each of her brothers were and how they worked together to be the protector.

There were parts where it felt like the story slowed down a bit, but I was so invested I kept reading and I’m so glad I didn’t stop. I read through the whole series in just over a day, I had to know how it would end!

If you are looking for a series to binge on a cold day, I’d recommend this one.

Wow

There's not much else to say. This was a superb sci-fi/fantasy with a good blend of both. I loved the characters and the plot had me on the edge of my seat through the whole story. I am a little disappointed that one of the characgers didn't get to play as big of a role at the end as I thought he should but overall the story was phenomenal. It is clean, both in language and sex. There's some kissing and while you know it's passionate, it's not overdone. Suitable for any age reader. Plus i am hoping for a spin off or two with the brothers and hopefully some appearances from all the characters. Definitely a book worth reading.

This book is a real journey, coming full circle for these amazing characters. Ava Is a mortal in a world that is not know for death. She is classed as a weapon to those that wish to harness mortality for there own personal gain. Along the way she is thrown into chaos with lose and betrayal, and the only person she can truly trust is Michael. There journey together is not easy, they are torn apart and have to learn to survive on there own. however fate pull them back together for an epic war that will change everything they all know. This was a page turning adventure and I hope maybe one day there maybe spin off of some of the other characters.

DNF at 20%

Woah this book is long.
It started off so good, so interesting, and it stayed that way until about 15%. Everything was so back and forth. Why would they let her go, running all over the place, chase her down over and over again when they could have just held onto her?? Sometimes things were explained well and others it was like I was missing sentences. I just got tired of trying to keep up. Also too much was happening. All the explosions, the fights, just everything. Waaaay too much.

I absolutely loved this

I loved the growth of the main character. You start out liking her off the bat the she just keeps getting more awesome and bad ass. There's also a great development with most of the other characters that means things aren't always what they seem. The story line is so compelling be prepared for a Netflix worthy binge on this series.

Note to author: please do a spin off or snowboy novella! :)

If you're looking to enter a well thought out, intricate world you've never experienced before, this is the series for you! Everly Frost will make you wonder, if Eve had made a different choice all those years ago, could this book be an outline to a future we never could have imagined? Not to mention, Ava is just the right mix of heart, determination and bada*sery to make this a story you won't forget anytime soon.

Hidden within this story of immortality, war, and the horrible actions caused by fear is one of the most heartwarming stories I have ever read. Love and family triumph over hate as Ava learns her truth and finds her destiny. This is an action packed adventure from start to finish, and it should be read. Don’t miss out on this one!

Books 1 through to 4

I have to say that when I usually read a box set I struggle to read through them without sneaking in different book. Wasn't the case with this one, I read them back to back. Was so completely different to anything I've read. Character development and the twists and turns was amazing. I highly recommend you give it a go.

Unique world; wonderful storytelling

I’m a broke record when it comes to Everly Frost’s books, but she is an absolute genius when it comes to creating unique worlds with beautiful storytelling. The Mortality series is no different - a completely one of a kind story with an amazing female MC. Well worth the read.

A proper fable for our times

Beautifully drawn characters, an amazing concept, well written true speculative science fantasy. I ripped through this series and wish I hadn't finished it yet. A terrific author, and everything she writes is above the resting scale.

Different

A very different plot and story. What if everyone was immortal? What if a single mortal was born? Is she to be feared?
