Ember and Stevie have received an invitation for a weekend seer retreat at Keke Island and decide to attend, considering it repayment for all the work they have done with their talents on behalf of others. But what they didn't anticipate was the dead body found during their first group dinner. And they certainly never anticipated that their psychic talents would be switched to each other! Is there one among them with evil intentions? This was a fun book as the seers try to adapt to these new talents. As they always say, you only appreciate something when it is gone. Stevie can't stand the silence, now that the dead no longer talk to her, and Ember doesn't know how to function without her numbers. And then there are the strange new talents...how do you deal with this? Great mystery, lots of clues and hints, and definitely a surprise reveal. And along the way, the story revealed a little more of the back stories for Ember and Stevie. Definitely want to continue on with the next book in this series. Disclosure: I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reading copy of this book.

Once you start this book you will not be able to put it down! The fourth book of the series, yet it could be read as a standalone. Ember and her sister Stevie go to a Seer conference in Georgia for a relaxing time away from their bakery and to get together with other Seers and Lady Deja the head of this Seer group. There is also a mystery writers convention at the hotel too, since this hotel has been know to have ghosts. The Seer conference started of with a dinner where we meet the different seers and find out about their different physic gifts. All good intentions go awry when after eating their dessert of Lemon Meringue Pie and Ember goes into the kitchen to see the cook, she finds the cook dead holding the recipe for the pie in her clutched fist. Then all of a sudden, the Seer group have their psychic abilities switched among them. Crazy! It had to be a witch involved, but who? Is there a traitor among them? Why? Lady Deja mentioned that someone has been after the Seer crystal ball. Lots of secrets, including a very personal one that Stevie has held within since her son was born, lots of suspects, lots of missing seers all of a sudden, lots of twists and turns that keep you guessing until the end. Will Ember and Stevie be able to solve the murder, the missing seers and get their psychic abilities back before they go missing too? This is a fantastic and fun mystery series and this book makes you want even more! I received and ARC from the author but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Delightful and intriguing

Loved this and kept wanting a piece of Lemon Meringue pie. Well written with believable characters and plots. This Author knows how to write so you feel like you are there with everyone. She also included a recipe for the pie at the end. Would recommend this for anyone who loves a good mystery.

Oh my this one really kept me on the edge of my seat. So many twists. A few questions see answered. I was totally surprised many times. The cliffhanger ending really had me wishing the next book was already out. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Our favorite Southern Psychic sisters are on a retreat to relax but things go haywire before the cold cucumber soup can be served! A sneaky witch casts a faulty spell and everyone in attendance has their abilities switched with someone else, all except Stevie. She seems to have been left as mute as a normal! The silence is slowly driving her stir crazy - she needs to get her abilities back before she spills all her secrets from her past!!

This one has some very interesting twists.

So what would happen if everything in your world was turned upside down? How would you go about it figuring it all out? This sisters are very different from each other but it’s easy to see how close they are with each other.Everyone is very relatable. Enjoy

The Seers retreat isn't as relaxing as planned

Ember and Stevie go to a Seers retreat that turns out to be fraught with tension and danger. Stevie tells Ember about Orien's father. Fun as always.

This book of the series answered some questions about Orion's parentage. It was set in a beach resort hotel and involved all of the regional psychics at a convention. I enjoyed it.

This was a good series. Not heavy reading. I enjoyed the interaction of the characters, but the end felt incomplete to me, like it could have gone further.

The pacing of this book felt a bit off compared to the others in the series, but I was excited to read more about the magical world building in the series by meeting new psychics.

The seers come under attack

Terrific. The two seer sisters have to attend the retreat for seers. When a dead cook is found on their first night and everyone finds their talents scrambled it is plain old fashioned sleuthing that the girls must undertake to find out who and why. Great characters and a twisted plot that will have you constantly changing your mind as to the culprit. I must admit that I did favour one more than the others and I was proved right. A great read.
