*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Book one in the Harem of the Shifter Queen though each one has a new female MC and a new group of harem guys though the world in the same. We meet Hira who is being sacrificed to the dragons in an effort to save the small town. Just as they are coming she is rescued by a pack of wolves that promise to keep her safe as their mate. The relationship is streamlined quickly due to the danger but that doesn't make it less hot. The combination of a strong chick with fire power and some sexy shifters makes for a fascinating story to say the least. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer even though I knew it was novella going in I just got hooked on the story not wanting it to be over. Great for fans of paranormal reverse harem romance novels. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Fun, quick read with some creative world building and likeable characters. The issue was that it all just felt underdeveloped, especially toward the end, making this hard to rate. The epilogue literally read like a summary, and the final chapter before that with the big romance-ish scene felt rushed and clunky. Overall, while I like a novella for some fast, light reading, I also still want it to feel complete.

Lacey Carter Anderson gives us a sexy, fast paced novella that excites and sends chills. A fire elementalist finds herself being sacrificed to the dragons to save her town. However, a pack of wolves catches her scent and they want to claim her. Dragons vs. Shifters!!! With one strong heroine between them. A recipe for a must read story.

Brilliant read. Loved this short story.
Hira just wanted to save her village from the threat of the Dragons, She has her sword and her Fire elemental magic But the village wants a sacrifice and she is it. But Hira has not planned her future to be a sacrifice so, when the wolves descend, she is on her way with them.

Short and (sort of) sweet and steamy
This really is a short read, but it is really very enjoyable! It’s perfect for when you only have a short amount of time to read, though I would happily read a (much) longer version. Interesting concept for a RH.

Short but fun
This story is kinda like eating a candy bar to stave off your hunger. It good but you know your need an actual meal soon. The h was sassy, strong and smart. Can't wait to read more from Ms. Anderson

A fun short story to burn some time (no pun intended). I enjoyed this quick sexy romp. Would have loved it to be a little longer to get to know these characters.

Short, to the point and steamy. Sam must be the most honourable wolf ever. Plenty of smut and six guys. I liked how strong the MC was. Would’ve liked to have seen a little more non smexy time with the guys if it was a bit longer, but I liked it.

Definitely short and steamy, as described! I hope that more of the dragon-wolf-shifter conflict is revealed in later installments. I would have preferred a longer read with more details! Perhaps this is the author's style -- I am used to novel-length works.

I downloaded Sultry Fire as a free novella from Amazon. Glad this was a freebie, as I found this novella too short for any of the character development I've come to expect from this writer. A decent short story with fast-burn, insta-love relationships--more sex than plot. Not my kind of tale.

Hira is being sacrificed to the dragons by the village she lives in. To avoid having sex with 3 dragon shifters she has sex with 6 wolf shifters.

Hira and pack of wolves are intense and hot!!!!! This quick read was just what I need to just enjoy a good read about characters who were sweet, sexy, and knew what they wanted. I cannot wait to read the next quick steamy work of art.

This was a great story. I only wished that it went more in depth with the story line making it a little longer. I love wolf shifters so this was perfect for me.

Great little sexy tale when you need just a little something to "clean you palate". Interesting how the MC feels attraction to the men and how it is explained to her. Well written. Steam 9/10.

A ton of action packed into a very short book
