(B) 74% | More than Satisfactory Notes: But for Batman, really silly (products of their time), though Batman skews comedic too: Silver/Bronze Age paradigm.
Wanted: Santa Claus — Dead or Alive! - 3.5 stars The Man Who Murdered Santa Claus! - 2.5 stars The TT’s Swingin’ Christmas Carol! - 2.5 stars Star Light, Star Bright… The Farthest Star I See Tonight! - 3 stars ‘Twas the Fright Before Christmas!’ - 4 stars The Silent Night of the Batman - 5 stars
most of them are silly portrayl of the DC superheroes. (I prefer the Teen Titans I grew up with, not this team)
We follow different heroes (mainly superman and batman, and few others) in adventures related to christams, each ending with a lesson on the importance to love each other in the spirit of christmas. it was just okay.
Classic comics from DC that book me in a holiday spirit every year. 1988 was peak DC comics in my opinion and the short stories that fill this book are terrific. I have the original issues but comiXology now has them digitally. I recommend picking up a copy.
Primer especial navideño editado por Zinco. Contiene cuatro historias que destilan esperanza y buenos actos por los poros. Mis puntajes: -"¡Se busca a Santa Claus... vivo o muerto!", 3. -"¡El hombre que mató a Santa Claus!", 3. -"¡Esta noche brilla... la estrella más lejana!", 3. -"Ambush Bug os saluda", 2.
Behind a great John Byrne cover, we get 6 stories from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. If you read them in the context of their times they are a great read. The 60’s Teen Titans story has dated badly, notably the dialogue, but still very readable. Two Batman stories start and finish the issue, with Frank Miller and Neal Adams art the highlight. The Paul Levitz/ Garcia-Lopez Legion of Super-Heroes story is a personal favourite, and I always love a festive Superman story, which sees Len Wein team Clark,up,with Santa.
DC digs through the archives to find some comics set during the holidays. Some are pretty good, some not so much. The strangest was Superman's teamup with Santa Claus. My favorite was the Legion of Super-Heroes story.
Fun collection of many Christmas themed DC comics throughout the years. Fun stories and art. It's a fun holiday event collection. Recommend to anyone who might enjoy Christmas themed comics.
Good color artwork. Holiday short stories. The teen titans homage to dickens is almost artistic! Superman and Batman solve the death of santa? Amusing.
