When taking the Myers-Briggs personality test in high school, Kimberly was rated as an INFJ (Introverted-Intuitive-Feeling-Judging). This result sent her into a panic, because there were no career paths recommended for the type. Fortunately, it turned out to be well-suited to a writing career. Since receiving that dismal outlook, Kimberly has become an award-winning author of romance and erotica. She has written for seven publishing houses, both domestic and international, and has recently focused her efforts on the exciting world of self-publishing. When not writing, she enjoys movies, sports, traveling, music, and sunshine. In her mind, a beach, some rock 'n' roll, and a good book make for a perfect day.

I really like "forbidden romance" stories like this (I guess I'm twisted?) - I low key wish there had been more between the family - like - were his parents *really* ok with it? What was the reaction of the brother/ex? (Not that I'd have given ANY credence to that cheating asshole)

It was pretty abrupt how they got together ... although it made sense overall, AND I think was nicely explained. I'd "forgotten" about Kimberly Dean - I wish more libraries had her books too ...

Anyway this book was seriously sexy and really sweet - it's obvious there was a connection and I loved that Tyler and Trista had already been friends, and had been "secret dating" - which she only just realized.
I mean, I also love love LOVE the smitten hero ... which might be why I'm so drawn to these "forbidden" romance stories - because a) they're already friends/know each other, so for me, that makes the relationship more believable, especially since romances so often hinge on a very short/random incident ... and b) there has been that longing for YEARS.

I liked the humor and connection too - a bit of it was over the top, but overall I quite enjoyed it and can see myself re-reading it. Definitely a quick feel good read.

A really fun and quick read! Kimberly Dean once again doesn't disappoint (but then again, I'm a huge fan of her work anyway.)

Trista divorced from her husband 8 months ago and just agreed to go out with her neighbor Cliff, only to be spotted by her ex-brother-in-law Ty.
Ty always had an eye for his sweet sister-in-law, but since she was his little brother's, she'd always been off limits. Ever since the divorce, everyone turned their back on Trista, except for Ty. Now that she was back on the market again, he couldn't hold back his feelings any longer.

Personally, I would have loved to read more about Trista meeting her ex-parents-in-law again, especially with her fear about their judgement. Other than that, Unrequited is a really nice, quick read. :-)
