For the past decade now I’ve made it a point to seek out different perspectives on Bible prophecy. I’ve found that even if I disagree with a particular point of view, there is almost always words of wisdom or insights that I come away which make the effort worthwhile.

Such is the case with Peter Jensen’s new book Antichrist Unmasked: Apocalypse 2027.

First let me tell you what I appreciated about the book. Mr. Jenson takes a hard look at humanism and the part this religion plays in the past, present, and future. Today when you talk about eschatology you often hear claims that Roman Catholicism or Islam are the religion of the Anti-Christ. Not so fast says Mr. Jenson. As he explains, humanism is the real danger.

Another aspect of this book I appreciated was Mr. Jenson’s look at technology and the mark of the Beast. While 20 years ago his theory concerning the mark of the beast would have seemed farfetched, not so much today. In fact each day that goes by it seems more and more plausible. Something worth considering for sure.

In what I hope is taken as respectful criticism, I am skeptical of his end times scenario. In fact at times his speculations about the course of future events were so detailed it read more like a newspaper article from the future than a best guess about how things might play out. There was a certain feeling of certainty or inevitability to the predictions that make me more than a bit uncomfortable. Fascinating reading to be sure but a Berean’s skepticism is in order as you read this part of the book.

Even though I don’t’ agree with Mr. Jensen on many of his eschatological views he has given me several things to think about and I enjoyed seeing the subject through his eyes. After you’ve read his book I’d encourage you to open your Bible and see if these things be so.

Maranatha!

Don't waste your time!

His conclusions are full of error. As for the "unmasking" of the Anti Christ, he choked and named the WWW! I guess he forgot that the Bible says 666 is the number of a MAN!

Blind to Evils of Donald Trump

Right a2ay in beginning of his book I goes Political and starts raving about the Spirtualnes of Trump, even stupidly ranting about how he would be re-elected in 2020, How dumb and blind could a writer be, I closed the book after the first 30 pages when he started mixing Republican Politics with scripts from the Old Testament
DON'T BUY THIS BOOK UNLESS YOU ARE A TRUMP LOVER REPUBLICAN,

End of times.

I enjoyed your book very much. I am a Christian and Love our GOD. I' m in my late 70's and I have read and studied the Bible all my life. Some of the book was a little over my head but nevertheless I liked it. I'm a living testimony as to what God can do for you. I'm very blessed. LGH

Many believe they know what will happen in the end times. It is unlikely any of us know. This was an interesting theory.

Apocalypse 2027 is a religion and spirituality book seeking out a diverse look on the Bible prophecy. Whether one has a certain belief on religion in general or is pursuing answers, I believe this book provides an insightful look into it.

The book’s perspective takes a look at humanity and how it’s been through the years influencing religion. The author expresses the fact that humanity is in danger and that eschatology claims that certain religions are against Christ but that is not the case.

What I found in this book was that some things were not theoretically mentioned but were stated with such certainty as if the author knew everything. Having said this, I admired the author’s view and confidence in stating his views.

Based on history, technology and other factors, this book offers a Christian view regarding the Apocalypse. The literature was well written and had a nice flow to it.

This book would suit readers that are into theosophy, Posthumanism, humanity, advanced technology, religion, and cybernetics.

Worth reading.

The author goes out on a limb, projecting possible future events.
And although the possibilities of such events are debatable at best,
his general method is spot on.

As we approach the end times we will see more clearly...
And we are to look and judge the signs to know when the end is near!

This book provides a decent perspective through a broad range of scriptures... Seeking to paint a rough sketch or outline of possibilities --rather than deep struggles with word-by-word exegesis.

A+

2 for the attempt

In the attempt to come up with something new, a few books on biblical prophecy have emerged. This is one of them. It is difficult to follow. I had to read it twice and some chapters more. His historical work is good, but in systematic theology he fails in connecting the dots. I do not want to waste much time on the review because I only read the book out of curiosity. His predictions are not warranted in Scripture and his identifications of people, and places predicted in scripture are far from consensus of scholars.

An interesting and well researched examination of prophecies and world events. Full of historical and current information. I cannot agree with his interpretation however. No-one can know who the final players on the world stage will be or when this will happen. maybe sooner than later and we must always be ready for our Lord Jesus Christ's return in glory.. I am a pre-millenialist The church will NOT go through the tribulation period. Its a time of retribution on all who have rejected Christ. A book worth a read to update on the middle East situation.

Being someone who has been spending time diving into prophecy, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. It definitely did not disappoint. I appreciated that the author did not try to pin specific dates onto anything but rather have a general timeline. This book paints a very interesting picture of what the world may look like over the next decade. Some of it seemed far reaching at first, but then after putting some additional thought into it, it seemed conceivable.

Unmasking endtime prophesies

The book makes interesting reading particularly in reference to modern day events as understood from the biblical perspective. I however iam struggling to understand Jerusalem as Mystery Babylon. not quite convinced of the rendering do e. The missed prophecy on Trump winning the 2020 elections also waters down the strength of the argument of the book. But it's a worthwhile contribution to the endtime prophecy.

Apocalypse coming !

Brilliant book, riveting from start to finish. I particularly appreciate the correct interpretation of the end time Jerusalem of the Antichrist as the Womsn who rides the beast ie Babylon the Great. I do not agree with 666 as the world wide Web simply because the number 666 are not just a series of sixrs but rather six hundred threescore and six and the instruction that we count the number of the beast. Nevertheless great job love the author!

Thought provoking and stirs the interest that encourages one to want to dig deeper.

Things that I’ve personally been concerned about he validated and tied them together, unknowingly. Interesting, thought provoking ideas that bear watching for and investigating. Will be chewing on these ideas for a while. Well worth the read.

Thought provoking

As a deeply religious person I can easily see that the current state of our world is alarming. We have natural disasters, and the Godless behavior that is written in Revelations . Peter Jensen has done research into the Bible and world history, allowing him to draw parallel lines between history and the Bible. Well worth reading. Very informative.

Very interesting 👍

This is a very interesting book 📖 very many very interesting points to digest by the reader 👩‍🏫 in these latter years, months and days of this Age, though the wife of the Most Father is absent, even though Jesus revealed that “Wisdom is vindicated by Her children,” of who Jesus and I are but two 😉

Your word

You kind of lost some belief from people like me when you declared,(prophesied) trump election in 2020 it taints some of the responses you made (like n koreas) movements based on that. Kind of makes most of this book null and void at this point.I do like your research and use of scripture, well done.

Insightful speculation

The author draws some fascinating conclusions. While the whole book has scripture woven through it, there were numerous interpretations that seemed pretty far fetched. I forced myself to finish reading but lost interest long before I turned the final page.

Well written but can't agree with his conclusions

Very interesting hypothesis well researched plenty of detail however his conclusions are from left field. It's always risky trying to date these events.

A good study of the end times

This book is firmly based on biblical eschatology and the history of persecution of Christians, especially in the bonus chapter.
