It was a good read that shows the trials of being a teenager in this day and age, we get the chance to watch out main characters grow and change from youth to young adult. Many sensitive subjects are touched in this book, bringing to light what so many struggle with in darkness. ❤️

This book was fantastic! From the first page of the book, I was hooked and had a hard time putting it down. I loved how the author wrote the story from the viewpoints of both of the main characters and didn't start from the exact moment that they met each other. I think it gave the audience a really good chance to meet the characters and get to know them as individuals instead of as a couple. The author also did a very good job of time progression throughout the book. I absolutely loved the story between the two main characters, and even became attached to some of the side characters that I hope she expands on in the future. Fantastic beginning to a new series that I can't wait to read more. I hope the next book in the series comes out soon.

This storyline is so interesting. The whole internet love story is so fantastic and I loved it. Reminded me of when I was a teen and meeting people in chat rooms. Had lots of teenage angst, the ups and downs of life. And the best HEA.

*Prologue*

Twilight

There has never been a time in my life when I’ve truly been scared, not until today that is. I sit in the car waiting as my leg starts to bounce uncontrollably. The ever-growing knot in my stomach seems to bloom a hundred-fold when I see a bus pull in.
“Is that his bus?” Bellona whispers from behind me.
I take a deep breath. It could be, after all it’s already 3 P.M.
My dad nudges me, “If he gets off the bus, go help him with his bags so he doesn’t think we didn’t show.”
I nod and gulp nervously, watching as the door to the bus pops open.
As the people file out of the bus, they wait for the bus driver to open the baggage hold.
I deflate a little after no one comes out who looks like him. Well that settles it, I think and sigh out loud. The knot in my stomach slowly eases away. I turn around to look at Bell.
“See, he’s not coming Bell, no way he’d actually come. He’s probably on his way back to New York right now. He probably pulled the wool right over my eyes.”
Bell raises her eyebrow at me and points past my dad’s head to the entrance of the parking lot. I follow her finger and gasp in a mix of shock and amazement as another bus pulls into the parking lot on the left side of the other bus.
“You were saying, Twi?” my dad asks with a laugh.
I try to frown at him, but the frown can’t quite come to the surface as the thought of seeing him right in front of me clouds everything else.
My stomach knots up even worse than it was when we got here, and I hold my breath as people come around the bus, and that’s when everything seems to slow down and my world freezes.
At the front of the bus, I see his unmistakable head of brown hair peek around to stare right over at the parking space we were currently sitting in.
“Oh my God,” I breathe as my hands start to tremble uncontrollably.
All I want to do is sink into this seat, because a new fear has taken its place. Now I’m not afraid that he’ll never come, I’m afraid that he’ll change his mind about me and get on the next bus back to Washington.
I barely feel the incessant nudge on my left shoulder. “Hurry Twilight, and go get him so we can get out of here,” my dad insists.
“Come on, I’m sure it’ll be fine,” Bell says sympathetically.
With my still shaking hands, I open the door and get out of the car. Before I even take a step, Bell starts walking toward the buses, and I follow her at a slower pace.
She looks back at me and shows me her phone. “And don’t worry, I’m getting this on video.”
Wonderful, the most embarrassing moment of my existence is going to be recorded.
Bell walks around the front of his bus, and my heart speeds up, because this is it. It might be the most important day of my life, or the most humiliating, and I’m nervous to find out which.
We look toward the people taking their luggage from the side of the bus and I see him bending to grab his three bags. He straightens up, grasps his luggage firmly, and turns around.
His eyes glance around until they abruptly focus on me … and my heart feels like it explodes.
