When Aurora Hedvige is bitten in New Orleans, her problems are only just beginning. But she isn’t in a position to complain.
Carver Marceau is Kresova, an ancient race of vampires ruled by a deadly queen bent on keeping her reign at all costs. Carver believes Aurora is one of the Drias, the first of three fated harem queens destined to return the balance to the Kresova.
As new allies are formed and the other consorts of Aurora’s harem are found, it’s a race against the clock as they battle against Queen Morana and her followers to protect the future of the Kresova vampires and Aura’s heart.
A rising queen. Three handsome consorts. A deadly court full of intrigue. And a prophecy formed by fate.

I believe this is the first time I’ve read anything by these 2 authors but I enjoyed this series. They did a great job with building the world, creating the characters, and developing an intriguing and dramatic plot line. I liked all the main characters but I think Lucian is my favorite. I felt like maybe the authors had Aura showing a little too much favoritism towards Carver. There also didn’t seem to be a lot of time for the reader to see the relationship build with Aura and her third mate.
There were a few parts within this box set where things seemed to be skipped over such as freeing Carver from the chains with the enchantments (I’m using that one because it’s still fresh in my mind). They made it seem like it would be a complicated and dangerous task. Some ideas and concepts tend to contradict each other at times. Like in the ending where the Queen is there watching the show of Aura and her Harem in a fight but Aura is able to run away into the Queen’s private room to search for the ring, yet the Queen never noticed? If anything, the Queen would be watching Aura like a hawk since she knows that she is a Dria. Just my opinion from a much to analytical mind.
This box set is part of a larger storyline so be mindful that at the end of this set, the overall plot is still unfinished. So the big bad Villian is still alive and bound to create more sh*t storms. It was a good read and I am eager to read the next series installment to see what happens.
Love these books Thirst Love, Love this book. Aurora has just been bitten by a vampire and learns she is destined to take down the Queen. Meeting Carver she didn’t trust him at first but deep down she knew that he could be trusted. Carver & Aurora, I love and now adding Lucien, I can’t wait too see what will happen next. I love paranormal books and this had me intrigued and so glad that I have read it. I can’t wait until the next book comes out.
Tempt Holy Hell that ending, I want the next book ASAP. Carver & Aura will doing anything to stop Morana but it seems like Morana is one step ahead. This series will have you hooked especially with Carver & Lucien. It’s a dangerous game that Aurora hopes to be the victor of with the help of her friends and allies. I wish the next book was out because I NEED to know what is going too happen next. Great read that will have you hooked from page 1.
Turn Aurora will do anything to save Carver and take down Morana. They finally find what will take down Morana down, but it might not be that easy. You can feel the emotions that Aurora is feeling while you read and it’s heartbreaking when she has too feel what Carver has been through. Together they will do what needs to be done to finally end Morana. This series is addicted and you will love Aurora, Carver, Lucien and Marius. I’m excited that there will be more in this series because I can’t wait to read more of these sexy vamps.
I’m going to say a little bit about each book, instead of the whole volume.
Book one:
I was hesitant to read this at first. I love the authors other works, but I didn’t know if this series was for me. I haven’t read a really good vampire book in a long time(due to overdosing on Twilight lol) and thought I might not like it. Thank goodness I was wrong! Book one is very fast paced and entertaining. I was able to read it in just a few short hours. I would like the romance to develop somewhat more. There was little too much instalove for my taste. I look forward to reading book two.
Book two:
It ends with a bang! Book two is a little slower than book one, but it ends with a bang! I'm excited to see how Aura continues to grow and develop. Also, I can't wait to see who the 3rd guy is! (I think I might already know;) )
Book three:
Book three in the Kresova series took a slightly darker turn. I liked it! The storyline is moving along nicely too; there is no lull or drag. Aura and all of her friends face so many difficult and trying challenges you don't think they would be able to handle any more, then BAM! Something else happens. I loved all of the excitement and can't wait to see where this series is headed next. I don't want to give too much away, but Aura is becoming one awesome Dria!
Aurora is a new Kresova Vampire and Dria queen, the first of three and her consorts, Carver, Lucian and Marius are trying to defeat current Kresova Queen Morana (to stop her abuse and brutality of both humans and vampires) and to resurrect Abe the King of Vampires. Will they succeed plus find the other two queens and their consorts?
A volume about a young woman who is going through many changes and trying to find herself through them all with help of her best friend and lovers. Finding determination and strength that is inside of her.
Aurora is a fast paced enticing story about a normal woman who is bitten and changed into a Kresova Vampire. While she is learning how to live her new life, she is thrown complications with every new thing she learns. On the hunt for her three destined mates, she also has to navigate being the first of three new vampire queens to replace the current tyrannical Queen. Can Aurora find her three mates, will the other Queens be found and can they destroy the current Queen? This is a must read to find out.
Graceley Knox and D.D. Miers have hit this one out of the park. Fabulous!!
No I’m not going to give away any spoilers of any kind because I’m not the type that does that. So this is all I’m going to say about this book and that is it’s a absolutely awesome book written by two fantastic authors! Which I can not wait to read more from them. So yes I most definitely recommend this book to anyone who’s interested in climbing into this book and getting lost in it’s pages and escaping reality at least for a little while.
Was hooked from the very beginning and was continually intrigued to read the following book in the series. I loved the evolution of aura as she comes into her powers and how each of her men reflects what she needs at the time they enter her life. Good read and can’t wait to read the next series about Lyra!
I read these books individually and then reread them in this box set. I love that all 3 for Aura's books are all together in a convenient box set. Great characters and storyline. Different take on vampires and different then anything I have read lately. Entertaining as well as a page turner. I can't wait to find out more about the Dria queens.
Plenty of action and a great storyline!!! I love Aurora and her guys!!! I really enjoyed the authors take on the different kind of vampires and their history. Definitely a series I will continue reading!
