Ace is at the hospital when he meets Barbara. That meeting was unexpected, but very memorable to both of them. Ace can’t forget Barbara. When he discovers that she’s a professor in a subject that he loves, he decides to go to college. Barbara can’t believe her eyes when she sees Ace in her class. She tries to keep her distant, but Ace doesn’t want to let her go without a fight. When Barbara and her class discover something on a field trip, all their lives are in danger. Ace will do everything to protect his Barbara and the students.
Ace is smart, strong, determined, passionate, loyal and protective. He loves being in his motorcycle club and he’s close to the other members. He always has their back, just like they have his back. Ace is interested in history and that’s something he has in common with Barbara. Barbara and Ace are different persons and have different lives, but Ace wants Barbara desperately and he never gives up to get a chance with her. He’s patient with her, but it’s worth it in the end.
Barbara is smart, caring and sweet. She’s a little damaged after a bad break up. She’s finally picking up her life again, but her ex doesn’t leave her alone and he wants another chance with her. Barbara is done with men and relationships for now, so she isn’t sure what to do with her growing feelings for Ace. Ace makes her feel something she has never felt before. After a while, Barbara gives Ace a chance and she never regrets it. Ace and Barbara are good together!
Ace of Hearts is the third book in the Blind Jacks MC series, but it was the first one I’ve read. I never had the feeling that I missed something. Ace of Hearts is a MC romance. It’s sexy, fast paced and suspenseful. I’m enjoying this author’s MC romances. I do feel that the motorcycle club was more important in the other books and I missed that in this book.

Ace and Barbara's story is one of suspense, romance, acceptance and love.
My heart broke a few times while reading Ace's story, first off he is an identical twin and his brother was a bad apple to say the least. Ace spent ten years in prison for a crime committed by his brother and if that isn't bad enough wait until you read about the really horrible things his brother did. Ace holds onto his brothers bad doings as a reflection of how he failed him, Ace has a poor self image and the women at the clubhouse...yes the whores....don't like looking at him and turn away in disgust, it's no wonder the poor guy thinks he's hideous. But it takes a woman like Barbara to show how desirable and lovable he really is.

Woohoo, we have Ace's story and it's compelling!
Who doesn't love a scarred tortured hero who has heart of gold? Ace has had me intrigued about him since the whole Ryder incident in the Blind Jack series. (no worries if you only read this book you won't be lost)
Ace is a b@da$s Biker but emotionally he is just as scarred on the inside as well as the outside, and when he falls for the smart professor his world is never the same.
Barbara has been fascinated with ACE since first setting her eyes on him and being with Ace may not come easy and has some hiccups these two are perfect for one another and "so cute together". There were times I thought maybe this was too instant love for me, but then the letting go of his emotional hangups proved that Barbara helps heal Ace and a deep connection is formed.
Ace of Heart isn't just about the romance, of course, there is always drama surrounding the MC and Barbara manages to get her archaeology class and the MC mixed up with some problems. The suspense will keep you reading. I love the backstories that are formed in Ace of Hearts, some from past characters we have come to love plus some new ones that have peeked my interest. ACE OF HEARTS is a great addition to the Blind Jacks Series.

So this is the third book of the series, and I have not read the others but I didn't feel like I was missing anything. I liked the concept of the book and the two main characters, Ace and Barbara.
A biker and a professor is not something you read every day. But it was good.

I couldn't wait for Ace and Barbara's story and I was not disappointed at all. The way they met was awesome and their banter great.
After Tiffany found out who Barbara really was, she signed Ace up to join her class. When Barbara saw him she couldn't believe her eyes. Ace was really surprised that he was interested in getting to know more about Barbara and he wanted her in his life. While Barbara saw the good in Ace, he only saw himself as the bad guy because he thought he must be bad because of the way his twin brother turned out. It didn't bother Barbara that Ace had been in jail after she learned why he was there. And after meeting the rest of his MC brothers, she knew they would all take care of each other. But she really wanted to have Ace in her life and hopefully it wouldn't take her long to convince him of it.
I love this MC group of men and the women they love. And if you are looking for a really good MC series, then you need to read this one.

This wasn’t a typical MC book for me because it involed a lot of people outside the MC club.
Which I really liked.
I didn’t read the previous books in the series but had no problems of being lost or confused while reading Ace of Hearts. It’s a completes standalone.
I really loved Ace and Barbara.
I thought Ace was a sweetheart.
Yes he’s a tough biker guy and does what he needs to do for his club.
But there’s so much more to him than that.
He’s a simple man but also complicated.
His past is messed up and twisted so it blends and bleeds into his present and possible future.
Barbara is such a smart,feisty and sassy lady.
She’s an anthropologist professor at the local college.
I loved her attitude!
She wasn’t afraid to go after what she wanted and did what she needed to do to get it.
Their relationship is sweet and sexy.
But it’s not smooth sailing for them.
There’s turbulence along the way and serious trouble is brewing and spilling into their lives and a mystery that needs to be solved!

Ace has weathered many challenges in his life. The toughest is how he believes everyone around him perceives him based on his scars and the hurt caused by his twin brother. When he meets Barbara, she sees the man inside, the one that would lay down his life for someone he loves with a true sense of loyalty and compassion. He is encouraged to enroll in Barbara’s class which leads them on an archeological dig that lands them in the middle of a strange mystery. Barbara has finally left her cheating husband and is standing on her own. Ace is proving a wonderful new opportunity for her and a great person to lean on when trouble finds her. I love the crew at Blind Jacks. Even as this story focuses on Ace and Barbara, there are layers added with the other members that gives this series a wonderful depth. Of course, the off-the-charts chemistry, both emotional and sexual, kept me captivated too.

Even this is a third book in the series it can be read as a standalone.
It is a gripping story that kept me reading and never letting me go until I've read the last page. I simply loved the characters, the nerdy Barbara and bad boy biker Ace who are wonderfully developed.
It is heartbreaking to read the parts where Ace lost years of his life in prison because of the crime his twin brother did and his low selfimage keeps him from thinking that he is a good guy with a heart and that he deserves to be loved.
Barbara with her students are getting into danger with their discoveries of the bodies instead of the fossils and their heroes who save them are Ace with his MC brothers.
How the story will end and how their connection will develop...you will have to discover by yourself, just go and read it

Book three in the Blind Jacks MC series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. I have not read the previous two in series and this is complete full length story with sweet HEA. It was sweet with a little spicy. Ace's back story was heart breaking. It was sad that he did not feel worthy of love. Barbara is just coming out of a divorce where her ex husband was never faithful to her, but he doesn't want to let her go. I liked that they took their time texting and talking before jumping into the relationship. I loved that once they were together they were 100% committed to one another, no breakups or on again, off again, etc. Some cute funny dialog. I would highly recommend. ARC review.

Ace of Hearts is the 3rd book in the Blind Jacks MC. It follows Ace and Barbra's story and oh what story it is.
Ace has a lot of self doubt, and Barbra is fresh out of a divorce.
They're everything they never knew they need for each other and absolutely perfect together.
Like the first two books, the bantering between the MC brothers is so funny. Barbra fits into the MC life perfectly.

A well written book with an interesting story line. The characters are strong and the story flows quickly and smoothly. I enjoyed reading this story.

This book is a good addition to the Blind Jacks books! I liked the book overall. I felt that at times Ace was too emotional than his character was written as...he would look forlorn or his shoulders would collapse as he was feeling insecure....It just didn't fit into his character. I loved how Barbara was written as a woman who could take care of herself and wish she had punched her ex a few times...lol...but that would have been out of character for her. Well-written and a great book to read!

Throughout two previous books, readers were given just a glimpse into the emotionally abusive early years of Jeremy “Ace” Strond’s life. Watching his mother drift away into mental illness, while dealing with his twin brother’s increasingly psychotic behavior, has left him with nightmares and guilt that are further revealed here. Not only is he carrying the scars of his twin’s vile acts on the inside, but his body is a patchwork of further betrayals that all came to a head with a ten year prison sentence that he’s still trying to cope with. With a body full of scars inside and out, along with a questionable past of his own, he feels unworthy of the kind of love his MC brothers seem to be finding. But an unforgettable encounter with a sassy doctor has him putting everything on the line despite his feelings of unworthiness in a romance that’s full of eroticism and dirty talk. When the discovery of dead bodies puts the professor in danger though he and his club will protect her and her students no matter what. With danger creeping ever closer their connection grows too with thoughts of the future invading his dreams where nightmares once ruled. Ace is a cool and confident hero, a bit rough around the edges, but unapologetic for who he is. He thinks himself ugly and undeserving of happiness which has him pushing Barbara away early on. With her life in danger from unknown enemies, and her ex’s increasingly stalkerish behavior though, his caveman tendencies come out to claim her wholeheartedly in encounters that are sweet and sexy. She was devalued in so many other ways though that have left her with low self-esteem. Ace is just what the doctor ordered as their sexual encounters empower her and have her standing up to her ex as he refuses to let her go. In turn, she heals his bruised heart and through the lens of love she helps him see himself in a more positive life. She’s a strong-willed heroine who easily rolls with everything thrown her way. She’s no shrinking violet and is a solid support to Ace throughout their journey to HEA. Along the way she learns what it means to be an old lady, embracing the outdated views of the MC, in a story that showed the unconventional family she’s found with the men and women of the Blind Jacks MC.
This is an entertaining read for the most part despite the flow being a bit jumpy and certain things being quickly glossed over and resolved. It’s a bit melodramatic at times too, especially with the reasons revealed by the villain for their actions. The actual romance between Ace and Barbara was the highlight though. They’re a crackling couple with fun and flirty banter. They may be opposites but their scenes together were sweet and scorching with lots of dirty talk to make readers blush. Along with this compelling main couple was a large cast of secondary characters. Readers get to see Ryder and Tiffany again, still solid and supportive of each other, even with her still dealing with her own crazy ex. Tiffany’s actions made no sense after all the abuse Stuart heaped on her and his inclusion in this story felt creepy and wrong. Also joining the Blind Jacks on a peripheral basis are a few of Ace’s fellow college students as they seek a safe haven. Two of them, Jack and Jennifer, seem to easily blend in and their presence gives readers further insight into the MC world as both of them look to be staying. On a whole this was a satisfying addition to the Blind Jacks MC series courtesy of its delightfully decadent main couple. The suspense itself was well done but the reasons behind it felt silly. The brothers were a supportive bunch, rallying to help Ace and the woman he quickly claims, in scenes that were heartwarming while keeping me on the edge of my seat as the bullets flew. I look forward to where we go next as I’m thoroughly intrigued by the glimpses of Peb, Cork, and Jack sprinkled throughout this story that promises more emotional stories on the horizon.

Ace is the third book in J.C. Valentine's Blind Jacks MC Series. You probably want to read the first two books in this series before reading Ace so you are familiar with the member of the MC and what they have been through.
Ace by all rights should be dead. Serving ten years in prison for a crime he didn't commit had affected him in ways he couldn't understand. He'd rolled out of the slammer and into a revenge plot that almost got him killed. By the grace of God, when he had hit rock bottom one person reached out a helping hand. A beautiful redhead with a penchant for mischief took a shine to him and then disappeared leaving behind only her number scribbled recklessly on his arm. Assuming he can make out all the numbers, he just might have a chance at something amazing.
Barbara has finally divorced her narcissistic husband. It was the best choice Barbara ever made. After living under his control for seven long years, she might have gone a little wild for a minute, what with jumping the hot biker and all. None of that mattered though, because today was the day she got herself back on track. After being given the opportunity to excavate a small cache of fossils in a remote area, Barbara is horrified to discover sh has inadvertently led a small team of her archaeology students into danger. When they stumble on a secret dumping site of a vicious serial killer, Ace the big, handsome biker takes charge. But she may have gotten herself and her students into more danger than even he can handle.
This is my favorite book so far in this series. I loved me some Ace. Holy smoking hot biker for sure. We first met Ace in Fighting Dirty when he was after Rider to get revenge for his brother's murder. And, we also got a glimpse of Barb from the retelling by Ace of what happened when he went to the Doc's office to get patched up. Now though Tiffany has given Ace to see the Dr that he can't get out of his head by paying for and enrolling him in a class at the local college. Oh did I mention she is a professor and not a medical doctor. They are so happy to see each other again but there are rules that she isn't willing to break. However she thinks that Ace never called or sent her a text and this starts the getting familiar with Barb's ex. Now that they are taking their time to get to know each other they are falling fast which messes with Ace's head and when you read the book you will see why. Now out on what should have been an amazing dig with members of her class, they all run upon a secret dumping ground full of bodies and Ace is the first to jump into action. He takes all the students and Barb back to the clubhouse to protect them until they can figure out exactly what or who they are dealing with and if there will be blow back from them finding the site. I am telling you now, try as you may your never going to figure it all out. I was honestly floored at what was actually going on. This book was so good and your going to fall so in love with Ace. I even liked Barb and I had a really great time reading this book. There is just enough of a what is going on and a whole lot of lust that you keep reading straight through until you finish the book. If your a MC lover Ace is a book that you do not want to miss.

I'm loving this series!!
Up now is Ace. Having made peace with Ryder he's settling in well to club life. Having been patched in quickly he feels accepted even though his past still affects him from time to time. Having been accidentally shot he meets Dr Barbara Reynolds. Something about the way she looks at him makes him feel all kinds of good. Attending her class he just wants to be near her. They start up a friendship with texts but Barbara can't seem to stay away from him.
Meeting Ace in the doctors office Barbara finally feels like she has met a man who will actually cherish her. On the back end of divorce when she meets Ace she becomes someone brave and adventurous. Something she's never been before. She finds herself thinking of him constantly and can't stay away. She knows he's everything her ex was not and she wants him badly.
One event affects both Barbara and the club and it throws them together. Can they figure out whats going on before people start to take dirt naps?
I absolutely loved Ace. His lack of confidence cracked my heart! His past plays on his mind constantly until finally Barbara's actions and words start to make him believe that maybe she does have a point, maybe he is worth it. He really really is!!! He's string and tough and Alpha but he's so sweet with it and caring and protective and fun! I loved seeing his doubt drift away along with his nightmares.
Barbara is amazingly sweet and innocent but she has a little wild side that Ace seems to pull out of her. She's quite level headed and deals with their troubles really well. It's like she's always been around the club. When she stands up to Darkness i felt like cheering for her. But the thing i loved the most was her absolute certainty about Aces value. She saw it straight away that he was someone she wanted to spend her life with and i thought she did a brilliant job of proving to Ace he's worth it!!
I love seeing the club dynamics developing and i'm really excited for this series. Peb and Cork are intriguing and so is the new kid Jack. It was also great to see Ryder, Tiffany and Darkness and their parents lives going so well! Ohhh and Earnest!! He's a real cuteheart!
The storyline was well paced and kept me reading almost non stop. I was kept guessing nearly to the end as to who the bad guy was. I'm loving how these books just feel like one long story and bits of the club are opening up in each one. It's fab just to pick them up and continue on the Blind Jacks journey!
Highly recommend i would say you can read as a standalone but i think you'd be missing out by not reading the others.

The third installment in this series is an enthralling and wild ride. A tattooed biker and a professor of archaeology make for an exciting read.
Ace is finding his place in the Blind Jacks MC and has earned respect amongst his fellow brothers despite his shaky start. He is quite lively until the horrors of his past haunt him at nights.
Barbara is recently divorced from her cheating husband who appears to have missed the memo that they are no longer married. Now that she has finally escaped from his claws, she has no intention of looking back.
Whilst in hospital getting his "accidental" injury seen to, she encounters this beautiful and daring redhead who leaves him breathless. Although they are strangers, something clicks between them and Ace eventually takes a step towards seeing her again. He enrols as one of her student and they start sharing some funny, sometimes hilarious banters.
Barbara arranges a field trip on a remote farm, and being one of the students, Ace feels obliged to tag along! Instead of fossils, what they uncover is horrendous and just like that, they are in danger. Barbara and the students end up at the club for their own protection, until they find out what and who are behind their discovery. Despite the pending danger, Ace and Barbara take this opportunity to explore their mutual attraction. Their interactions are witty and sizzling hot! Once they think that the immediate danger has passed, they resume their normal lives with extra caution added. Then, there is a shooting and they realise that they are still being targeted and to top it all, there is another fatal accident. The investigations lead to the most surprising ploy!
Despite being opposites and Ace's apprehension about their differences, they have a fantastic relationship and prove that true love prevails. Like the previous installments, this is well paced and it's full of suspense and intrigues. Once again, the brothers' loyalty shine. An engaging read indeed.

We first met Jeremy "Ace" Strond in the book Fighting Dirty when he was shot and taken to Dr. Reynolds office to be stitched up. He meets a beautiful redhead named Barbara who ends up making him feel better ;) and he even earned a red heart sticker! Barb writes her phone number on Aces' arm hoping to hear from him again. Ace had a very rough childhood and even served 10 years in prison for a crime his twin brother committed. Now Ace is a member of the Blind Jacks MC and trying to make a better life for himself while running from his past demons.
Barb is recently divorced from her controlling ex, Dr. David Reynolds. Even though David cheated on her multiple times, he didn't want the divorce. They sounded like fun characters.

The brilliant JC Valentine has hit another one out of the part with her latest MC book Ace Of Hearts, and I couldn't get enough! Ace is a scarred, tortured soul biker, who is at the hospital getting patched up, when he meets Barbara. Not only is she beautiful, but she doesn't look at him like he's a monster. By the time he is ready to leave, she writes her number down on him, but through crazy circumstances, she never gets his calls, so he tracks her down, and decides to sign up for her class, so one hell of an exciting journey begins. This story was fast paced, with never a dull moment, especially when I was trying to figure out what had happened in Ace's past to get him to where he was. Which leads me to my second point, the twists & turns. They were everywhere, so my f-bomb dropping was as well, along with the edge of my seat reading while my heart raced in anticipation, not to mention all the suspense that came to pass. Because, Barbara got her Archaeology class & the MC into some dangerous issues without even trying, which goes back to the previous point. And that doesn't even touch about the sexy times that lit the sheets up between the smart & sweet Barbara and the loyal, protective, smart, strong, and with a giant heart Ace. There's even a fantastic cast of secondaries that added more depth, and definitely humor to the mix. So see, this story had everything, even originality to the MC genre to which I definitely CANNOT WAIT for more! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I loved this book. I will say that even though there were times that I really wanted to smack Ace in the end I really liked him.
Ace has had a really tough life and is now trying to just make ends meet and get over his past the best way he can. However, how can this happen when all he ever sees is his evil twin brother when he looks at himself and when others look at him all they see is the "ugly"? Ace is really a bada** biker that will not put up with anyone's sh**. When he ends up injured his goes to the club's doctor and meets Barbara.
Barbara may have had it easy but she did not have the best marriage to her cheating ex-husband. When she is finally free and starting her life on her own she meets Ace and things get hot quick.
When Barbara gets the chance to dig for fossils with a few of her students she jumps at the chance. However, this chance soon because a nightmare. How will Barbara and Ace be able to keep everyone alive? Also, will Ace be able to get over his past to have a future with the one person that truly sees him for him?
J.C. Valentine has a way with words because I did not want this book to end!!! She was able to have me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going to happen. These characters like all of her characters have a way of staying with you after you have finished the book.
I cannot wait to see what she comes up with rest in the Blind Jacks MC series.

Ace is used to women turning away from him; he's got a scarred face and his twin didn't have the best reputation. When he meets Barbara he is caught off guard - not only does she not show disgust or fear at his appearance but she also seems to enjoy his company. But old habits are hard to break & Ace keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop. Surely he doesn't deserve the happiness and Barbara will eventually leave. How do you make a bad boy see that he has a good heart & deserves love and happiness?
I had not previously read any of the Blind Jacks MC series but this is a standalone; if you have read the first two books in the series then you might appreciate the catching up with Tiffany and Ryder that you see in this book. I also had not read anything by this author before but I am a fan of most MC romances. This book almost has a reformed bad boy aspect to it, but only slightly - Ace knows he is a hardened man and he makes no excuses for it. This is one of those books that once you start reading you may not notice time flying by. I thought I had only been reading for about 30 mins but it had been a whole hour. This book isn't a very long one - it's about 220 pages - and the pacing is steady; the author does a really good job of building the story and keeping the reader on his/her toes. If you are a fan of MC Romances then you will have to check out this one.

Fantastic Emotional Twisted
This can definitely be read as a standalone. Ace is a complex guy with a past that will break your heart. Growing up in disturbed house as a twin of a brother that was a psychopath. Ace went to jail for 10 years because of his tormented brothers actions. As a member of the Blind Jack's MC he finds himself in hospital with a gunshot wound. Barbara who is visiting her Dr friend walks into the treatment room and finds herself bantering with Ace. Barbara isn't afraid of his scars tattoos or his gruffness Ace can't believe that she would or could see past the scars that his twin brother inflicted on him over years of physical abuse. The chemistry between these two unlikely people just show that we all have scars just because you can or can't see them doesn't mean that they don't effect us all. Barbara is fearce of her defence of Ace and her commitment to him that he doesn't understand. When her life is on the line Ace becomes consumed in his protection of this wowan, thinking that she will leave once the danger is over. Barbara proves to Ace that she is nobody's bitch with her strength and stubbornness that his him finally believing that she truly loves him. This little firery redhead stands up to the MC as she tries to show that she loves Ace. This story has it all hurt, betrayal, desperation and fear, lust and love and a family that will always have your back. I highly recommend this book and this series. A must read.

Ace and Barbara's story started in Ryder's War Bk#2 when they first met in the hospital where he was being treated for a bullet wound. They have a hot tryst that leaved Barbara writing her number down in marker on his arm. And Ace can't stop thinking about her and she him. So when he is set up for her class, she is a professor of archology, the two begin to see that it's going to be a bumpy ride to a relationship as he is a member of the Blind Jack's MC and she is the ex-wife of a doctor, who does not want to let go of her. When bodies are found a dig she was going to have some of her students, including Ace dig up fossils, well things just got real.
I loved how Ace and Barbara's story evolved from the start. They are polar opposites and yet it was like the two were made for each other. Along with the other Black Jack members and their partners Barbara fits in with the club and she can stand up for herself. Ace puts all of his love and loyalty to her and she to him in finding out who is behind all the attacks on her and her students. Barbara needs to stand strong and independent at the same time as she loves Ace for his protective instincts.
It's a book that has a lot of action and explosive intimate moments. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

The Acknowledgment is a reminder that authors are human just like us. They have feelings too.
Jeremy “Ace” Strond seems to be mad at the world – or at least the world he lives in. Barbara Reynolds can’t seem to get rid of her past. Our author is very good at having that past keep popping up. She’s also very good at creating some hot and steamy scenes.
We have characters from the first two books in the Blind Jacks MC series that appear here. You don’t need to read them first but if you want to know more about the people that make up this MC at some point you may want to find the time to catch up. What’s nice about this club is that they care about people and are willing to go out of their way and give them a helping hand.
You will find that this author goes the extra mile for her readers. She could have just gone on and developed the relationship between Ace and Barbara. But she has created a mystery that will have you turning the page because you won’t want to miss a thing. Plus the mystery puts us in Ace’s wheelhouse. Everything moves smoothly to a happy ending and a slight hint that there’s more to come from the Blind Jacks.

Wow!!! Excuse me a minute while I pick up my jaw from the floor. This book GAH...it may just be my favorite book by J.C. Valentine I have read yet. I really didn't see things playing out the way they did and was left speechless. I absolutely loved this two characters.
I have been eager to get Ace's story and have been intrigued since he was first introduced. He hasn't had it easy and the poor man if riddled with guilt, insecurities, heartbreak and a feeling of never being able to find happiness. Barbara thought she had a perfect marriage until that went down in flames. She isn't looking for love but when she encounters Ace there is something that she couldn't resist. After a sexy as hell first time meeting she was hoping to hear from him for more fun but no such luck. Imagine her surprise when he ends up in her class. Unfortunately this won't be her only surprise in their story and things are about to get more interesting and dangerous for her, Ace, and her students.
I highly recommend this book. I freaking loved it and can't wait to see what J.C. Valentine has in store for us next.

Ace of Hearts by J.C. Valentine is a thrilling, suspenseful, delicious ride and I was absolutely enthralled from beginning to end.
Did I tell you it has a serial killer in it? I sure do love the game of cat and mouse. There is loads of passion and excitement, events that are brilliantly crafted for an epic tale in the third book in the Blind Jack’s MC series. I didn’t feel at all like I was playing catch up on the characters or missing any backstory, even though this is book three in the series.
The storyline was very intriguing. I was very entertained by the hero and heroines first meeting and how their lives delved to form a remarkable relationship. Ace is definitely a determined guy, his antics to keep Barbara in his life, one way or another was heart pounding and quite enjoyable. Barbara definitely has had a bad run in her past relationship and needs a fresh start but honestly what she gets herself into is not at all what she expected.
This is definitely a romantic thriller full of twists and turns that keep you gasping for a reprieve because what you expected is definitely not what will transpire.

I have enjoyed each and every book in this series. We got to meet a little of Ace and Barbara in the previous book. I just loved reading about their first meet. These two were so meant for each other.
Barbara to a certain degree was starting her life over. She was starting to learn to live again. After getting out of a bad marriage she deserved to have her freedom. I have to think everything she went through made her the strong woman she was.
You can not help but fall in love with Ace. You also could not help but feel for everything he has been through. He had been through so much due to his twin. His body was scared and he felt no woman wanted to be with him because of that. Though he had his brothers he still felt like he was alone.
I loved the chemistry between Barbara and Ace. These two had just what the other one needed. It is not long before trouble finds it way to Barbara and Ace. I love how Ace and the MC were willing to step up and help.
This is s great story and glad I got a chance to read the book

Can I just say how much I love the Blind Jacks Series!
I know I can always count on JC Valentine to deliver a solid story and she's proven time and again that she can write anything. No matter the genre, I love everything she writes. MC books aren't normally my go-to books, but I know that JC can come up with the best stories and the most outrageous characters.
I love that Ace and Barbara are about as opposite as two people can be yet the two of them have such a need and desire. Yes, these two truly deserved happiness and what a connection they have. Out of the three books in the series, Ace of Hearts has got to be my favorite simply because the author put that added mysterious twist to the story. It took the story to a new level.
Reconnecting with the other members of the club is an added bonus. They're so much like people I'd love to associate with. Overall, I enjoyed the chemistry, the suspense, the romance, and the storyline that Ace of Hearts delivered. Another great addition to this series!!
