This volume was okay. I enjoyed Inuzaka and Persia's interactions, as usual, and I love Inuzaka calling out Hasuki and Persia for competing for his affection without his permission, but overall this volume just okay. Siber isn't an interesting character and I was hoping her love of cute things would bring up a discussion on how she wouldn't be treated seriously by her peers if they found out, but that whole thing went nowhere. Just a quirk she has. Riveting. Also, I'm getting tired of the aggressive female archetype, especially now that Siber is, what, the fifth or sixth girl who falls under this archetype? It's getting old really fucking fast and it needs to stop. Have your female characters show strength and aggression in ways OTHER THAN PHYSICAL VIOLENCE.
Anyway, this is still a good series and I did laugh in some of the scenes, but as usual Persia and Inuzaka's romance and the humor are the only things carrying this series. It kind of astounds me that I'm still invested in this series considering they're they only characters keeping it going. Bravo to you, Kaneda, bravo.
