Cate’s been shot.

That’s one of the two things that she’s sure of. She doesn’t remember how or why, but it doesn’t matter because the second thing that she knows is that she needs to survive.

In a world where creatures scour the landscape and humanity slaughters one another for their next meal, it was never going to be easy…

And that was before she found the girl.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable and unputdownable read. Full of cliffhangers, plot twists, mystery, and intrigue, The Girl of the New Earth will keep you hooked from start to finish.

Dystopian novel based around the struggle to survive in a brutal world of the main character Cat. This book probably wasn’t helped by being read immediately after the Night Circus which I never wanted to end. But none the less although it is well written and the author shows much potential I found the plot a little predictable.
