The story takes place in the once peaceful town of Little Park, South Jersey, which has been devastated by an incident similar to the Phenomenal Week of 1909. During the course of seven days, thousands of people reported seeing the Jersey Devil throughout New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania. In this instance, the circumstances are far more deadly. There have been hundreds of sightings and six unsolved, ritualistic murdersall within the Little Park area. The police department relies upon the assistance of its own Detective Marcel Brown and the gem of a neighboring police department, Aya Becker. Although the citizens fear that their town is being stalked by the Jersey Devil, Aya and Marcel realize that the murderer(s) are faking the sightings to aid their causea lethal cause that Aya soon learns involves her in a way she never thought possible
Ryan Callaway grew up in "Weird NJ" on stories about the Jersey Devil and some of the other local lore. He started writing at an early age and almost immediately teachers and others around him noticed his talent. One of his early stories was read out loud every Friday to an eager 7th grade English class. At the age of 16 Ryan wrote the novel "Six Faces" which later became his first published book. Since then he's written several novels, and recently branched out into the world of film production. He has several screenplays and films under his belt, including a film adaption of "The Yearly Harvest". Other stints included a year as a co-host on a national radio program, and other related speaking engagements. Ryan continues to write in the horror and suspense genres.
