I had not read the prior novels. Yet, this fact did not distract too much from my reading experience. The only thing I would say is that because I had not read the prior novels that my connection with the characters were not established. Therefore, I couldn't find that connection as strong as I would have liked in this book.
However, what for me lacked in the character relationship made up for with action. There was plenty and it stayed high. This helps as it kept the story from being stale. In regards to international thrillers, this is a good one. It was believable, which is important when it comes to these types of books. Overall, this is a good book.

Page Turner! Couldn't put it down. Fast paced. Easy to read. I love all of his books. Great father's day gift.

I wrote this international thriller so I'm biased. But I will say that forecasted the future very well before the current nuclear missile standoff between North Korea and the United States of America. I leveraged into the story my decades of experience developing, testing, targeting, and operating a national missile defense interceptor. Now you can enjoy the Kindle ebook release.
