This is a small, well-written story of someone falling in sin and how it can be almost impossible to get out of it! The evilness seems like good, but it really isn't. Satan can easily trick people into thinking they're doing good. And when someone comes to really help, the people in sin push him/her away. It reminds me of people of this world who reject the Lord!
Sunny wrote this story very well. It's suitable for any age!
I have to admit that it took me reading another person's review to grasp the full meaning of this short story -- I knew it was a struggle of some sort, and a horrific one at that, but the full spectrum escaped me initially. The story deals with the filth and struggle of falling into sin over and over again - perhaps even refusing help for a variety of reasons. Mortified is open to interpretation and a bit ambiguous, which avid readers of short stories should enjoy.
