I actually stumbled on this beauty and killed it. Well written and good amount of sex/angst/drama. Yes a MC read but not gritty hardcore bikers just some mentions of the club. I did enjoy.

Amateurish at best. Not about an MC, it's a lame romance. Lame because it is so not believable. She left her father's life behind and moved away. The MC members never saw her, most did not know her. Yet, while someone attempts to rape her the hero who rescues her, says he drives by every night to make sure things look okay. So, she's close in proximity, yes? Not what we were led to believe.
She's drunk but coherent enough to be aware of what just happened. And despite "hating" bikers, she remains in only her underwear to cook then launches herself at him for some hot sex? And in the morning has not an ounce of remembrance? Thinks he hit her and that's how she got the bruised face?
They get married, and he - the newly appointed Prez of the MC - moves away from his club that is in a turf war, to live with her?
And the shoot out at the bar, during the day - that could not have been any more convoluted or less believable. It was actually stupid how it was laid out.

It was promising
It started out good. Good story line. But then I started noticing some things that didn’t jive with a bad mean biker story. Some of the stuff said just didn’t click with the images for me. It had its hot moments and I ended up finishing the story. But may not continue reading the series.

Alright!
I chose this rating because this was an okay book. I really enjoyed most of the characters. There was a lot of romance going on in this book. I recommend this book to all romance readers.

I was provided a copy of this book and this is my honest review......
Vivian Gray is a “new to me” author, but is one that I will read a lot more!! This book is an interesting twist on the usual MC genre. Silas becomes the MC president as the current one is on his deathbed. The dying president has one last request of Silas, marry my daughter Jessa to protect her. The story moves on from there. Silas and Jessa are well written, compelling characters, although she describes him....a lot, we don’t get as much physical description about her...odd. The chemistry was hot and undeniable. The story is a fast, sexy read, with a few twists. Great read.

Great story with undeniable chemistry that lights off a lot of sparks despite their efforts to keep that from happening. It included excitement, danger and unexpected twists and turns. Vivian estranged daughter of the MC president who refused to have anything to due with them or her father after her brothers death. Silas awarded president after Vivian father's death, who had been like a son to him. On his death bed he requested them to be wed. They eventually agreed in name only after a scary incident. I really enjoyed their journey and experiences including danger to get to their HEA. I voluntarily reviewed this standalone ARC.

Jessa and Silas are brought together by his promise to protect her. She doesn't want to be part of the MC world but feels so drawn to Silas.
I really enjoy MC romances and this one is very well written with great characters. I really enjoyed watching these two fall for each other even when they try so hard to keep their distance. He may be dangerous to some but he is very protective of her. They have great chemistry.

If you like MC romance books you've come to the right place. I love the authors style of writing, the stories are good and everything you want in typical short story romance. This book was about 100 pages, so it didn't take long to read, it was cliche at some parts, but what else would you expect from a smutty MC romance that's short and has a guaranteed HEA with no cliff hanger? It was an amazing read for those who want to pick up a book and finish in one sitting.

Silas... is a good story with steamy scenes, fun banter between the two main characters Silas and Jessa. They fought their attraction to eachother but the chemistry between them was off the charts. The author kept the story interested from beginning to end. Some details of storyline changed...like Silas had a brother he didnt know where he was and by chapter 4 the same said brother died from a war with another MC. Other than that I enjoyed this story. Happy Reading!!!

Great story....
Great story...I loved the characters and how their mutual attraction ignited despite their efforts to keep that from happening. I also enjoyed getting to know other characters in the MC. This is the first book I have read by this author and I plan to read another.

Has boy Silas marries bad ass Jessa
The President of the Death Knells daughter was a real bitch she had to promise her father in his death bed she would marry Silas who was next in line for the position of President. It was to be only for her safety, marriage for convince only !! But as it always happens they fall in love. Great story recommend 5 Stars

Wow loved this couldn't put it down where can I find me a sexy protective biker a great storyline and characters plenty of action hot chemistry definitely worth reading. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

This had a good plot with fast action. Really enjoyed how patient Silas was with her indecisive butt. Especially when she knew that she wanted the hot biker. They both had demons to conquer. Good story. I will read the next one.

I didn’t like this book, not a MC book and it didn’t even make sense, after almost getting raped she has sex with a hot biker hero, sorry but I feel it just keep going down hill fast

It wasn’t a bad book, the main character, Jessa, was just infuriating. The story could have been so much better without her incessant nonsense. Once you get past that, it’s a good story.
