Prayer is my favourite topic

Ok I’ll admit it: if it’s about prayer I’ll read it. I’m fascinated with prayer and I have found that to read books about this subject continues to improve my own prayer life markedly. Sometimes a book will contain only one or two useful tidbits of teaching but that can often be really worthwhile. Recently I read a book about prayer in which the author, about 2/3 of the way through interpolated their won feelings about certain subjects that really put me off. Had I known this was in the book there is no way I would have purchased it. Anyway the value of what the book offered before that point was immense.

Anyway this book is filled with inspiration and some very practical information about various forms of prayer. Then there is tongues and prophecy. Whilst I didn’t change my opinion of tongues I did take a second look at the authors idea of prophetic prayer, it is pretty interesting. I enjoyed this book and was inspired in my own practice.
