Welcome to My Single Alien. The aliens are horny and the humans are desperate. Which alien will be your perfect match?
A proud Galaxar warrior on a mission to find a mate and have offspring.
A stubborn human female fighting to prove her worth and ignore the hot alien’s gaze that makes her melt.
Vegas Munro has had enough of Earth and all the hopeless drifters she dated over the years. When an opportunity arrived to run the first alien dating agency in space she jumped at the chance, boarded the spaceship, and didn’t look back.
Driven by the need to prove herself, and determined not to have her head turned by another man, Vegas is not prepared for a face to face encounter with Solan. He’s out of this world gorgeous but comes with a stubborn streak worse than hers. Vegas doesn’t need this complication. She has a matchmaking business to run and thousands of lonely, randy aliens to pair up.
Little does she know she’s met her match made in space and he never gives up a fight.
When Solan, a Galaxar Colonel known as Destroyer of Stars, meets Vegas in the flesh for the first time, the attraction is instant.
He cares nothing for emotion. Solan needs a fertile human female to breed with. Vegas is gorgeous, confident, and ready. He wants her. He will have her.
His personal mission is to retain the respect of his fellow Galaxars and prove himself worthy of his position. He cannot do that without a family of his own. The family Vegas will give him. There’s no time for distractions, emotions or complications and definitely not from an Earth woman with a fiery nature and an infuriating refusal to succumb to him.
Vegas Munro intrigues him. Despite Solan’s belief that he does not need love, he seeks her out, learns of her strange human ways, and finds himself changing his mind. When the threat of a cruel, higher ranking Galaxar emerges, Solan refuses to let Vegas go. He’s determined to protect her.
He must choose between his hard-fought-for position in the Galaxar army or a human who makes his pulse race and his passions stir.
Solan is the first science fiction romance novel set in the My Single Alien universe. It is a complete adventure that can be read alone. No cheating and a happily ever after, following a few wrong moves and some misunderstandings of the human and alien kind.
You thought dating a human was tough. Wait until you try alien!
Alien dudes only worry about sex. HAHAHA. Boys will be boys. HAHAHAHA.
Chicks like chocolate and wine. Amiright? HAHAHAHA
Chicks don't know what they want and send mixed signals just to frustrated guys.

Chick friend of chick gets hit in the face by bad alien dude and no one says a fucking thing. It's almost like it didn't fucking happen at all. And bad alien guy only got a little verbal lashing from main chick that equated to a "How dare you?"
Boys will be boys will be boys will be boys will be boys will be boys. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Older women are treated like shit because they can't have babies because they're old. Oh the fucking horror.
This book was a DNF. If I had to read "boys will be boys" one more time I was going to break my Kindle, and I love my Kindle.
This book is not a good read I had hoped it would be worth it but I skimmed through the majority of it. It is suppose to be about a dating agency set up in space where aliens can find them selves a mate to give them children. The dating agency is called My Single Alien (Very Creative I know) this book seemed to me like the author had read a ton of these dating agency style sci fi novels and decided to throw together one of her own. It was very bland and boring. It was said that all aliens would travel through the worm hole to reach the agency which she I guess decided would be funny to name it The Glory Hole instead of just leaving it as worm hole. The build up between the characters was very dry and irritating Sloan decides he wants her as his mate she tells him she is not available and then in the same meeting one of Sloan's superiors arrive and he proclaims he wants her as his mate as well. So it ends up being a bunch of she is mine, no she is mine, I'm neither of yours, and in the end she gets sold to Boris by her boss. They end up fighting and just as Boris is about to kill Vegas her boss who has a cyborg arm punches him knocking him out. When Vegas comes to she finds out her boss had to reimburse Boris for the money he paid for Vegas and he left and she tells her she now has to up her quota on matches to make up for the loss but she is free and clear to be with Sloan now. So that pretty much sums up the entire book and I'm sure you're probably saying well that doesn't sound interesting at all. Well you would be correct so save your time pass this one on.
OK - this was absolutely terrible. I struggled through as far as I could, but gave up at 82% complete. I went into the book knowing it wasn't going to be great. The next book in the series has better ratings so I thought I could get through this one and then see about the next (could be the better ratings are because those that hated this one didn't read that one). Anyway, I just can't. The characters are unlikable (like the a*hole Solan), the interactions are frazzled and frustrating, there is no relationship to speak of and no reason for anyone to like anyone in this book. Finally, the whole 'I'm selling my employee to a sadist, but I'm not a bad guy' thing is ridiculous. Beyond that, at some point the main character is between the sadist (that's already hit her friend into unconsciousness and punched her) and the employer that sold her to the sadist, and the main character makes an equivalency between physically facing off with the abusive asshole and getting fired by the employer that's already sold her to the abusive asshole. WTF?!
A fantastic beginning to a new series! I really liked the story but loved the characters more. I think the chemistry between Solan and Vegas was enticingly portrayed. They were the constant string throughout the book that everything else revolves around. I imagined Heather like the blonde genius on Big Bang Theory and can't wait to see her story told too. I'm sure we haven't' seen the last of Boros, and he was an awful piece of work that came alive from this descriptive writing, thanks for that, lol. The story got bogged down a few times in detail or inner thoughts but them picked right back up and was truly fun to read. I think there's more to the boss than she lets on, and I thought she was one of the bad guys for a while. I'm sure it will all come out in future books. I was all set to read a newer one before I read this one, so I'm glad I stepped back so I can read them in order.
Hot dam loved this book, Aliens are lining up to get fertile human females from My Single Alien matchmaking station because there races are dying out with no females to breed with and that’s where Vegas Munro head matchmaker does her job and is very good at it and that’s why Colonel Solan has come to them for a mate but as soon as he sees Vegas that’s who solan wants, now he must show her that he is the mate for her after some stolen kisses he knows for sure. With her job to do she leaves to go to her next client and it’s Brigadier Boros and right from the start she doesn’t like him there is something off about him and when he sees her with the colonel he now wants her, what happens now get this book to find out.
A fast-paced romance. There isn't much steam, but it is a good book. I actually think I would have preferred to see a little more intimacy in it. And maybe a little more to the ending. I haven't read any others in the series, so I'm not sure if we will see more of these characters in future books, but I would have like to see basically what the book was based on. Solan was so focused on having a child, that was all he really wanted, yet we don't see if he will ever get that with Vegas. Think I just wanted an epilogue with a little baby. But it didn't stop me from loving this story. I thought it was fantastic and will probably read the others in the series eventually.
As always Arcadia Shield has come up with a well written and interesting book. It has all the necessary things needed.....Who, What, When Where, How, Main stubborn characters, intrigue, and hot sex. What more could you ask for? Me, I want an alien who's a hunk, willing to be only mine and thinks I'm the greatest, most beautiful human he's ever seen and treats me fantastically. A must read book and one to save to your library.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I freely leave this honest review. Vegas has her hands full. The start of this book had me grinning like a Cheshire cat. The interaction between Vegas and the Galaxars was just too much. Solar may be a powerful leader but he is totally lost when he equates his symptoms of love as sickness. This is a wild ride with a great ending!
Started like many alien bride type romances, although the FMC is not a bride but a matchmaker. After that it goes down the twin rabbit holes of stupid character and stupid author. Logic fails were rife and I wanted them all to accidentally find themselves on the wrong side of an airlock. I won't be continuing with this series.
Alien match making services in outer space. First read by this author. Ok story wise but I really felt the connection needed ‘something ‘ between the two MC’s, which left the book lacking for me a little.
Wow an amazingly hot alien story. Vegas is a beautiful stubborn female who refuses to have her head turned by another male. She starts a dating service in space matching alien and humans together. Solan is a hot stubborn alien who worked to build his post in the army. When these two meet sparks fly. With Vegas refusing to succumb to solans desires. Solan refuses to give up and will fight for her as long as feelings aren't included. What happens when things go wrong and solan has to choose between Vegas and his career. Will love be included.
