பிடித்த ஒன்றின் அளவு நாள்பட மாறும் போது அதை விட்டு விலகுவது தான் ஏற்புடையது அதை அழிக்க நினைக்கும் போது தவறின் மையத்தை நோக்கி நகர்ந்து விடுகிறோம்.
தன் மனைவியே தன்னைக் கொல்வது மாதிரி கனவு கண்டு பயந்து நடுங்கும் கதிருக்கு அடுத்தடுத்து பல அதிர்ச்சிகள் ஏற்படுகிறது.
கல்லூரி காலத்தில் தன் மனைவி அமிர்தாவை காதலித்த சம்பத் தற்கொலை செய்து இறந்து போக அவனின் ஆவி தான் தற்பொழுது பழிவாங்க தங்கள் வீட்டை சுற்றி வருகிறது என்பதைக் காட்ட தொடர் இன்னல்கள் எழுகிறது.
மனநல மருத்துவர்,கனவின் பலன்களைச் சொல்பவர் என்று அனைவரையும் சந்தித்துத் தன் சந்தேகத்தைக் கேட்டாலும் உள்ளுக்குள் பயத்தின் உச்சியிலே இருக்கிறான் கதிர்.
அமிர்தாவின் காதல் வேறு ஒருவனிடம் சென்றதால் கணவனைப் பைத்தியக்காரனாக்க செயற்கை முறையில் கனவுகளை உண்டாக்கியதும் இறந்த சம்பத்தின் பெயரில் பயத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியதும் தெரியவருகிறது. கதிர் இவர்களின் விளையாட்டில் தெளிவாக இருப்பதால் அவனைக் கொலை செய்ய முயலும் போது கதிரிடம் வேலை செய்யும் மேகலாவால் காப்பாற்றப்படுகிறான்.
தான் போட்ட திட்டங்கள் அனைத்தும் வெளியில் வந்ததால் தற்கொலை செய்து இறந்து போகிறாள் அமிர்தா.

Iravu thamarai is a crime thriller written by Rajesh Kumar. It is a story about a businessman Kathir, who loves his wife more than anything, has been having same kinda intimidating nightmares for the past two days. The nightmare is about his wife Amritha, killing him with a devilish laugh wearing a white saree. He was very disturbed due to the nightmare and tries to hide it from his wife because of Amritha's sensitivity that she may feel bad (or) intimidated by that.
And at the same day Amritha receives a parcel from her ex-stalker, Sampath who chased her during their college days. In order to confront him, Kathir and Amritha visit Sampath's house and finding that Sampath has committed suicide one year ago because of his one sided love on Amritha failed. Confused Kathir and Amritha on who sent the parcel on Sampath's name, they both visit the parcel service office to find the details about the parcel. Adding to the myster, they found that particular page in the register having the parcel details empty. Also, Amritha confirms that the handwriting and signature in the parcel belongs to Sampath. Later the couple takes the case to police where Kathir gets an phone call in which all he hears is a male devilish laugh. Furthermore, there occurs some suspicious and mystical things happening around them making the couple and the police bewildered.
Whats really happening in Kathir and Amritha life? Was the parcel really sent by Sampath or someone else doing it? Is Sampath really dead? Is there really any ghosts (or) supernatural thing going on? Or someone playing with them? To get all these answers do read this book.
I read this book in audiobook format from @ and this is my first audiobook. The storyline may sound simple but the way the story was narrated/written, OMG the fear started gripping me omce I proceed with the book. The book has seat edge suspense and amazing plot twists that make the readers go swoon over the book. Also, the author is known for writing crime thrilling storyline and unexpectable twists. And this book didn't disappointed me at all.
Do you guys believe in sprits and ghosts? Do they actually exist in real life? Or are they just myths?

Great screenplay but the plot unfolds to quickly. Kinda feels the author was in a hurry to finish like he was going to die next day. There's is no investigation involved, the villain record the plot to the hero himself for some unknown reason.... Cliche from numerous Tamil movies. ... Journey was good, destination not so much
