If you think going to university is hard, then it’s a million times worse at the Salphea Institute of Magic. Lance Albatross is a freshman looking to lay low, graduate with a degree in magic engineering, and be on his way. Unfortunately for him, things at military magic institutes aren’t so simple.


The authoritarian Pryvale Union holds a death-grip over its citizens, and every day people’s freedoms are stripped away. To add insult to injury, magic-infused creatures known as Anomalies are attacking citizens with startling frequency. The world is a grim place, and that reality is not lost on Lance.


Hope comes in the form of the Disaster Trigger. One fateful night, it attaches itself to Lance. Its origins are a mystery, but its powers are absolute. Can Lance and his friends use the Disaster Trigger’s power to help the world or will the cycle of hate outlive them all?

Not very good

It's supposed to have been about magic but turned into a teen romance ..I don't have anything against that but not my type of book wasted to much time on this book!!!
