About the author

Alexis Angel writes steamy contemporary romance about bad boys for the bad girl in all of us. She is still single at 30, in case anyone is interested to know, and still very much looking for love.

Her favorite things in the world are flowers, chocolate, lingerie, high heels, lipstick, perfume, and the credit card award miles that she gets from buying all that.

Prior to writing, Alexis used to be a financial analyst in New York City. She quickly decided that working for a faceless corporation run by men was not her dream job. So she began to write. And as she began to write, she began to use those credit card award miles to travel all over the world.

Alexis Angel knows how to write scorchingly hot books that are also well plotted, well written and loads of fun. That was certainly the case with her latest, Boardroom Bride: A Fake Fiance Secret Pregnancy Romance. The extended name here pretty much tells you what you’re getting: two competing fashion design house CEOs who detest each other (... or do they truly) are forced into a fake engagement and then some. Yes, a suspension of belief is required here with regard to how real businesses operate but so what? This is loads of pure romantic comedic fun. It had just what I wanted, was well written, and had a great plot full of perfectly heated romance. I simply adored its leads Tanner and Elsa and their wonderful explosively hot chemistry - and the cast of supporting characters were simply superb. What more I could one ask for? But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - this book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend.

THIS AIN'T NO SOAP OPERA!!!
This is one read I thoroughly enjoyed immensely. I was hooked from the first page. If you're looking for a fast paced, exciting, humorous, slap yo mama, smooth flowing read that captures your attention and holds till the last word. Congratulations my friends you've found it. The characters and scenes were intriguing and complex. Following the characters I was mesmerized as their personalities transformed and blended. Graphic detailed descriptions were realistic with a solid storyline. If you're looking for a good laugh, all the heat, steam and sexy, this is definitely the read for you. Twists and turns abound with all the drama you can handle. The main characters chemistry is explosive hot. Not to mention all the entertainment they deliever. Alexis did a remarkable job bringing this together beautifully. Great job Alexis, thanks for sharing.

A very well written story with nice storyline and plot. It is very captivating from first to last chapter. The characters are likeable and well described. They develop nicely through the story. This is a story of great length and that gives the characters a depth that cannot always be given to their personalies in shorter stories. This story flows so well of the pages and I could not lay it down.

I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. The twists and turns are so unexpected that they made it worth the read.

There is a great mix of secrets, intrigues, sexyness, passion, lust, love, drama, steamy scenes and emotional ups and downs and this makes it a great read. It has humor, is fast paced and you will absolutely not regred reading it.

Elsa is the CEO of Dirty Little Angel and Tanner is the CEO of Pretty Little Vixen. These competing CEOs and their lingerie companies have been at war for 10 years but after an event where everything turned into a PR nightmare, these two have to play nice or will stand to lose everything. Tanner and Elsa have to fake an engagement where publicity they are so nice to each other but behind closed doors they remain bitter enemies. They have this intense chemistry so all that hate can’t be real, must be something more at work between these warring CEOs. There is lust, passion, lies, betrayal and love. What a great read with tons of feels and emotions. Will there be an HEA for Elsa and Tanner or will the bitterness win out?

Holy hotness! I absolutely loved this latest from Alexis Angel! Elsa and Tanner are ex lovers and ex business partners. They now run their own lingerie lines and love to trash talk each other. Tanner takes offense to Elsa's latest remarks and decides to sabotage her runway show by publicly stealing her top models. They have a very public, nasty exchange which prompted each of their Board of Directors ordering them to publicly work out their differences....buy getting engaged! The heat and chemistry they once had is still there, so as much as they hate each other they are secretly excited for the charade. It is said there is a fine line between love and hate, and bot do these two explore that!! This is a fast paced, witty, snarky smoking hot romance!! The way they manipulate the press, their Boards and the people around them and the passion they have...I couldn't put it down!!!!

Elsa and Tanner are ex lovers and ex business partners. They each have their own designer lingerie line and have been successful however recently things have taken a bitter turn when they have it out at a public event. Now their board of directors want them to be engaged just so they can work through their issues. Tanner knows that he still wants Elsa but he isn't sure what she feels. Things heat back up between them and its not long before they are back together again. Can Elsa and Tanner put the past behind them and go on to have a great relationship?

This was an great steamy story. Once I started it I couldn't put it down. This was a well written and very entertaining story. The chemistry between Elsa and Tanner was blazing hot. I would recommend this to any book lover.

Elsa is the owner and CEO of Dirty Little Angel lingerie. Tanner is the owner and CEO of Pretty Little Vixen lingerie. Not only have they been bitter rivals for the past 10 years, but they are ex-lovers as well. After very public and damaging scene at a fashion show gets them into trouble, they decide that the best way to fix everything is pretend that they are engaged. Even though they are hesitant to allow themselves to fall in love, they can't deny the chemistry between them.

Will they be able to save their businesses?? And will they allow themselves to fall back in love or will it all crumble around them??

Alexis has written yet another favorite. I couldn't put it down. I found this book humorous and very entertaining. Not to mention, oh so steamy.

They decide a fake engagement where they will behave in public but remain enemies in private is the best solution. Be careful what you wish for because hate could be hiding feelings neither wants to admit. Let the games begin!

This is the first book I've read by this author and I thought it was great. I loved the sexual chemistry between Elsa and Tanner. Their journey from hating each other to falling in love was a fun one to read. The two of them used to be together in the past but had an awful breakup so this could also be considered a second chance romance. If you enjoy enemies to lovers and/or second chance romance I would recommend reading this one. I will definitely be reading more by this author.

A truly captivating story of love, lust, hate and betrayal. This story literally blew me away so many twist and turns. So many feeling poured over you. It will leave hating to turn the page, can you handle what they do next, will it tear out your heart, will it make you laugh, cry screaming in frustration because this book will do it all. Grab it and take the journey if you don't you wish you had. This is one of her best books and so worth the frustration and the tears.

I read a lot of romances and sometimes they all seem to run together. But this one stands out, it was a great book that captured my attention right at the beginning and kept it until the end. The characters are well defined and likeable. A great read that will take you on an emotional roller coaster. Full of drama and lots of twists. A fun, entertaining and steamy read. Tanner and Elsa are both lingerie fashion designers and ex-lovers and now they love to hate each other. But when their antic cause problems with their respective boards of directors they will do anything to right their PR issues, including pretending to be engagement. What happens when their old feeling come to the surface? Fast paced read with plenty of drama and amazing chemistry. I was hooked from beginning to end.

You know how some books the dialogue or wording just flows and you can really get into it? Well, it just didn't happen for me that way with this book, it felt like I was slogging along. I rarely stop reading a book only 3 or so chapters in, but I just had to put this one down. The next one I picked up had me right into it in the first few sentences and the dialogue just flowed easily along, that's the way I know I'm reading a good book.

Omg I was laughing so much and keep in mind this was only 7% into the story !

I totally love how I felt like I was reading a actual newspaper or magazine (whichever you prefer) ..I really felt as if watching a movie ..just in my head !LOL

I relate to each character in many different ways and loved the differences and similarities that drew them together it made it very interesting!!
Highly recommended!!

Loved this book! The way the two go from opponents to lovers is amazing. Loved how the board of directors give the ultimatum and they went for it hook, line and sinker. The ways they go about showing everyone that their together is creative and makes the story more interesting.

Super hot, laugh out loud funny, and chemistry and attraction that will not die are the bare basics of this awesome read. Add in complex characters with a bad breakup in their past, a business rivalry, and being forced to be fake fiancés and you have a book that offers heat, heart, humor, and drama. The story features Elsa and Tanner. These two had so much chemistry you could see the sparks whenever they got near each other. This book was full of drama, witty banter, sexy times and eventually a love that could no longer be denied.

There were a couple of confusing areas near the end but they were set straight in later chapters. This is my first book by this author and I’m hooked!

By reading the extended title I knew what to expect. That being said though I wasn't expecting to laugh, shake my head and like the characters as much as I did. You just knew with the way that Tanner and Elsa went after each other and got under each other's skin that if they got together it would be explosive. And boy was it! The twist and turns surprised me in a good way, I loved it! Alexis Angel does it again. I highly recommend this book.

Really enjoyed this story. The back and forth between Elsa and Tanner is great. The fakeness of their secret fake relationship is one for the books. It is good to see how two people who loathe each other, but secretly love each other, end up together. Though I am glad that I do not work for either of their companies!!!
