Ends with cliffhanger, which I don't like. How ever, the story written well. I loved that most of it concentrated on Robert's new path and less about his sexcapades. I would have liked more steamy scenes like ZLA usually gives us.
Bad boy from the earlier tales in this series finally sees the light and tries to turn himself around. I haven't read all of the previous titles but from the ones I have read, I had a serious dislike of Robert. When I realised a few pages in, that this was his story, I actually gasped out loud and wondered if I was going to be able to finish the book. Well yes I did finish it, and all in one day, it was so good.
This is a good short story in the Love in the USA series. I get to find out who Carter is because I read Vince and Maggie Book 7 before I read this book, but it was worth reading about how Robert Tango changed his life and won over his best friend aka brother back as a friend. Jack Lord, helped to get Robert interested in something that would help Robert discover who he really is as a person and helped to guide him to what he really was a good business investment for him. Robert bought out this architectural firm from this famous architect because he was going broke. It's a short, good read and I like the person that Robert Tango is turning into. Read this book in the series as it helps to fill in the gaps of what has brought about the change in Robert Tango.
Good story line. But to many convoluted twist that don't make any sense. Also, it ends on a cliff hanger but it's an easy one to figure out. First time reading anything by this author.
I guess I would recommend this book to all lovers of romance novels. Received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
Had read book one and couldn’t put it down - book 8 was the other I had and again have sat and read it till I finished. The human side of the story the man making good, the sexy scenes , going back now to read the previous ones - each one a story in itself
I'm hoping Robert continues to work on improving himself. Hopefully he and Carter can stay away from others while they figure out how to get their HEA.
It's a shame that this story has a cliffhanger. I really enjoyed it up to the point it stops and I figure out that it's part one and I need to read the next one. I don't. I don't get the next one. I don't bother reading anything else from this person.
