As with all of Helen Steiner Rice's books, this too is a perfect book to read to see your own feelings expressed in Rice's words. She is inspirational, and often times refers to her former husband, who died very early in their marriage. She expresses grief, and how it feels, well. Very personal feelings.
Although she lost her husband, she began a new phase of self-discovery, established her writing business, and continued on with her life.
Many prayers are included in this volume, based on Ecclesiastes 3:1 "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven". Many psalms are also included. All of them relate to the seasons of our life, when as you get older, seem all that more meaningful.
Included are, "A Time to be Born", "A Time to Love", "A Time to Heal", "A Time to be Silent", "A Time to Mourn", and "A Time for Peace".
A great book to pick up anytime, and read selections from.
