What could compel the Amazons to renounce their peaceful ways and attack America? The answers will prove useless to a country and hero population utterly unprepared for this savage attack. And where is Wonder Woman while all this is going on?

I really disliked this issue. The Amazons attacking Washington is one thing, but having them casually murder innocent civilians, including a child, feels completely out of character with how they’ve generally been portrayed in this continuity. Instead of making the conflict interesting, it just makes the Amazons come across as needlessly cruel and impossible to sympathize with. It’s easy to understand why "Amazons Attack!" became so unpopular that some fans mailed their copies back to DC. Outright awful. I'd rate it 1.5/10.
