About the author

Will Pfeifer was born in 1967 in the town of Niles, Ohio. He attended Kent State University and graduated in 1989. He has resided in Rockford, Illinois since 1990, with his wife, Amy.

Pfeifer, along with his comic writing duties, is the assistant features editor at the Rockford Register Star. He also writes a weekly DVD column for the Sunday paper.

Cool seeing people all together.

This might honestly be the worst issue yet. Supergirl and Wonder Girl forcing their way onto Air Force One and threatening the President is already ridiculous. But then they basically force him to agree to meet Hippolyta as if both sides are somehow equally responsible, even though Hippolyta is the one leading an army that has been slaughtering innocent civilians, including children. Their stupidity then indirectly leads to Air Force One crashing, and when the soldiers shoot the Amazons, Superman somehow seems more upset with the soldiers for literally doing their job than with the invading army that has been committing these atrocities in the first place. The constant attempt to treat both sides as equally at fault just does not work when one side is very clearly the aggressor. On top of that, Superman stops Diana when she is finally ready to put an end to Hippolyta’s war, and Batman actually has to remind her that Nemesis is dying and needs her help despite the emotional connection the previous issues spent building between them. Amazons Attack! continues to be incredibly badly written. I'd rate it 1/10.
