I never, ever, ever thought I’d be a romance novelist. It wasn’t what I dreamed of being when I was a kid, nor is it what I intended to write when I started taking creative writing classes in graduate school at St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas (“Fear the Goat!”). But here we are. If you like smart and sexy romance, you’re in the right place. Oh, and my protagonists? Many of them just happen to be lesbians. So yes, more than just being a romance novelist, I’m a lesbian romance novelist.
One day I hope to travel the world armed with only my running shoes and laptop, but for now I live in a little purple house on the edge of the Texas Hill Country in Austin, Texas. If I’m not at my “real job”, you can find me at my favorite local coffeehouse, playing tennis on one of Austin’s many city courts, running at the Town Lake Hike & Bike Trail, or just hanging out at home with my dogs.
