Brother Wolves #1

Alpha Wolf: Jason

Rate this book
M/M Mpreg Romance

Omega Rudy Larson has scraped a living in Stelline City after growing up in an orphanage. So when he meets a billionaire who claims that they're fated mates, he can't believe the gorgeous alpha.

Alpha Jason Marks knows what he wants and isn't afraid to get it. The shy yet feisty omega is his and he knows it. But Jason's wealth is a lot for Rudy to handle, and the two clash.

Things get worse when Jason's parents accuse Rudy of being a gold-digger. Rudy realizes he's stuck in a dead-end job, and he doesn't want to be dependent on the charismatic alpha.

On top of that, Jason's struggling to show his overbearing father than he's an alpha who can take care of himself. Add in Jason's four meddling younger brothers, and the alpha has a lot on his plate.

Can he prove to Rudy that he's not just another snooty billionaire? Will Rudy find the love and family he's always dreamed of?

And will either man truly open his heart to what's destined to be true?

Alpha Wolf: Jason is the first in a steamy new mpreg romance series centered around five wolf brothers who find their fated mates. Each couple gets a HEA, but the books are best enjoyed in order.

Cute shifter alpha/omega story. Rudy got on my nerves a bit over Jason’s money. And I didn’t buy Jason’s parents complete 180 in their attitude towards Rudy. But it was sweet and fluffy read.

Alpha Wolf: Jason (Brother Wolves #1) by Kaz Crowley

This is the first book in this series, it was easy to read, I read it all in one sitting. I enjoyed the story and cannot wait to read the next book in this series. Good m/m romance novel.

This was a sweet, sexy and kinda adorable story. Once Jason met Rudy he was a hot alpha totally all about claiming his mate and making him happy. And once Rudy was pregs the two of them were beyond adorable together. Only two tiny things that I think could have been done a bit better, first Jason's parents abrupt 180 once Rudy was pregnant felt a bit weird... and second the ending was bit abrupt and definitely too soon. Would have been nice to extend things at least to the wedding and birth of their child. All in all, this book was a very enjoyable read, made me tear up a few times and laugh out loud as well. Well worth the time spent reading it!

I loved this book. it's a sweet, drama free, shifter story, with mpreg.
my only disappointing is the ending, it's too abrupt for my likes, I'd have liked an epilogue.
I recommend this one, if you like sugary mpreg romances.

I received this book from the sweet and spicy arc programme for a honest opinion.
This book is about Rudy who after being an orphan and having been set loose into the world by himself, works as a mechanic until Jason comes into the garage and scents that their fated mates. This is the story of them establishing themselves into a relationship and being able to stand up for their love when others frown over it.
A good story that was a light hearted read with just a few problems for the main characters to overcome to keep it interesting.

I liked Rudy and Jason. Rudy had a tough childhood and he's tough because of it. Jason had an easy childhood but he's not a spoiled snob. Jason's parents, particularly his dad look down on Rudy the moment they hear of him. He's a poor omega, meaning he's worthless and can't be Jason's fated mate. Basically they are conceded dicks. I hated the father and the lack of real responsibility for his irrational, immature, and hateful behavior throughout the book was a point of contention for me. Jason and his brothers just shrug it off like, that's just dad. How about no! You don't get to be a dick because you're rich and an alpha. Maybe I'm just sick of rich men being dicks and getting away with it, I want some accountability and growth in fiction. *sigh* Other than the father issue, I really enjoyed the book.

I love this new series and the best part is that it is in Stelline City. It is well-written with a great story and engaging characters. The brothers are amazing and I love how they support Jason and Rudy even when their parents don't want anything to do with Rudy. Jason wants to help Rudy so badly but he has to learn to give him space and let Rudy decide if their relationship is something he wants. Being fated mates is not always easy and Rudy does not want to cause a rift between Jason and his parents. Luckily Jason is even more stubborn than Rudy and he is willing to do everything he can to convince him to stay. The ending is great and I can't wait to read the next book in this entertaining series.
I was given an ARC to review.

I enjoyed Rudy and Jason's story. They were great together. I loved Jason and the way he stood up for Rudy no matter what. He was so sweet with him. Jason's brother were great, too. I'm looking forward to reading their stories. I did not like the snobbish attitude Jason's parents had toward Rudy. It wasn't until they found out he was carrying their grandchild and that he had something special that they accepted him. I liked seeing Rudy overcome his self doubt to figure out he was deserving of Jason's love.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was cute. I could see Jason wanting to break away from the family business and he takes all the steps to do so. Rudy is just trying to survive after leaving the orphanage he grew up in.

There didn’t feel like a whole lot of depth to this story. There was the typical rich parents sticking their nose in the air but suddenly a baby is on the way and everything is fine? It just seemed to wrap up quickly into a nice bow and I felt like there was something missing. I’ll probably continue reading the series because I want to see the brothers find their mates.

Good book

Rudy is an Omega shifter who grew up in the Backlands in an orphanage. He has never had a family and can rely only on himself to make a better life out in Stelline City, working at an automotive repair shop in the poker part of the city. One day he meets a rich and gorgeous Alpha named Jason Marks while working on his expensive car. Instant connection as the two realize they are Fated mates. Can they overcome the obstacles they face- like parents who think the poor omega may be a gold digger? And what happens when a surprise pregnancy occurs?

This is a great book with a very entertaining storyline and fun characters. Definitely recommend this book.

This is the third book I have read in this world. It's a very sweet mm mpreg romance with a HEA. Five wolf shifter brothers await their mates. The father is a little overbearing and tries to direct the lives of his sons. The oldest son is not interested in working in the family business. He meets an omega auto mechanic who tries to resist his charms and maintain his independence.
Typos: missing words in quotations (e.g., "don't worry about"), wrong verb tenses, sack used for sac, less for fewer, inappropriate apostrophe ("the Marks brothers' nudged at one another"), laid used for lay, amiable used for amenable.

This is the first book in The Brother Wolves Series. A delightful book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters wonderful. The characters were developed and thought out. Omega Rudy Larson and Alpha Jason Marks are the MC’s of this book and are mates. There was a driverless car, family, a restaurant, mates, new business, a mechanic, sex and so much more in this book. I can recommend as a good read. I really like this book and I think this is a good start to a good series although considering the next book is more likely going to be about another one of Jason’s brothers and this isn’t a “part” book it’s upsetting that the book ended with Rudy still pregnant and he never had the pup which means more likely we won’t get to experience the birth since it will be in the next brothers perspective and not Jason’s or Rudy’s even tho it should be since it’s their pup

DNF, not for me.

Uber rich alpha meets poor orphan omega and they are FATED. And then lots of pointless angst happens and very little plot, plus some slightly dubious dialogue, I mean

"his flesh glimmered with an interior light that marked him as alpha"

somehow, once I have an image in my head of one of the main characters as a living night light it's kind of hard to take the book seriously.

Alpha Wolf: Jason is the first book in a new series and very enjoyable.
Jason is just sweet and he isn't going to let anything stand in the way of him and Rudy being fated mates. That includes his parents.
Rudy is in a deadend job, an orphan and has several issues he needs to work through before he and Jason can make it work.
Great start to a new series. I received a copy for an honest review.

Omega Rudy has a hard life, but he is trying to better himself by working hard and supporting himself. Alpha Jason is from a rich family, and he cannot seem to get his parents on board with what he wants. Besides his own life, he wants Rudy. They will have many personal and professional obstacles before they can be a true couple. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

A great start to a promising new series. Wonderful storyline that I really enjoyed with captivating characters. Rudy and Jason are great together and I especially like Jason's unwavering support. They have several issues to work out in order to get their HEA. Looking forward to more from this series.

A wonderful start to a new series!

I fell in love with this book right from the start . A rags to riches story we all dream about. The interfering hand of the fates is always a good sign that things will work out.

There ability to overcome obstacles was a little fast but even with that it's a great read!

First on the Marks

Thoroughly enjoyed the book, didn't stop reading it, light hearted, totally gripping. More about Rudy, perhaps a search for his birth family. Definitely more about the Marks. Keep going, I would recommend the book to everyone.

A sweet story with very little angst. My biggest complaint was that story seemed a little cliche. It was so much like other stories that I’ve read that I had to check to see if I’d read it before. If you’re looking for a quick easy read, this is a good read for you.

A new series set in the same world of Stelline City as the Treasured Ink series. Rudy is from the backwoods, raised in an orphanage and has a few self-esteem issues. Jason is from one of the uber rich families of Stelline City. He’s on the verge of becoming his own man, apart from his father. The brothers are all wonderful and welcoming to Rudy. I’m really looking forward to their books.

Cute story and this continues to be a good writing team. I understand that the over all goal is a HEA and feel good story, but this writing team seems to take the reader almost to the edge of gritty and a tad bit of angst and then flip the script and head waaaay back over into the "all is well" mode. I'd love to see them get a little more depth into these stories. But... I'm still a fan and looking forward to the next book in this series.
