Tempting Marcus

Jan just gets better with every book I read from her!
I love Marcus and Beth.
He's locked down tight emotionally. Tough, hard and completely in charge of his world and his Misfits except when it comes to the very sassy and naughty teasing Beth, who has captured his interest from the start; although he has fought it for so long. She softens his edges. Focuses his sight and brings back a part of him he thought long gone.
She's been waiting patiently for him and now that she is completely an adult, will she finally get what she truly wants for her birthday? and if she does what will it mean for her and him? can Marcus handle a relationship and will she have to fight against the invisible ghost in his past. A memory that has been his emotional cage for so long.
This story is long as it wraps around more than just their relationship, with twists and turns from their jobs being another plot that unfolds.
I thoroughly love how Jan writes more than just man, woman, their relationship, the conflict, resolve and go on. She adds a wonderful suspenseful depth with her books delving into the characters lives, bringing you on a roller coaster of a ride with the current job they are working before solving it all and the relationship conflict of the H and H. (Hero & Heroine)
The only issue I have about this book is in not seeing Marcus and Beth deal with the real world and the clash of her family with their jobs and Marcus himself; although I am sure her dad would have come around eventually with a little push from her mom.

This is book one in the Mercenery Heat series. Meet Marcus. He is the ring leader for a team of mercenaries that are hired to do jobs that no one else wants to touch. His team is good at what they do. Marcus is a very cool, calculated almost an emotionless man but he has a young operative that is starting to make his temperature rise. Bethany is a young operative that is needed as bait for their next mission. That mission is to break up a human trafficking ring that is kidnapping young women. She has all the confidence in her team or in their leader, Marcus to get her out. A mission is no place for personal feelings and emotions but what happens when the mix? Is this another 'W' for the team or does Marcus lose more than just a teammate? Enjoy, reading the story to find out. This was a great story that is well written and easy to get swept up into. The characters pull you in and make you feel like you are there a d part of the team. I will be looking for more to read of this series and this author in the future.

This is a great book about a young woman (Beth) who loves a man about twice her age (Marcus). Marcus leads a mercenary team that tackles missions other military groups can't handle and Beth is the youngest member of his team. The big problem in the story is that Marcus needs Beth to go undercover and get kidnapped by sex slave traders so that a mission can be completed to capture them and free the women being trafficked. BUT Marcus is extremely hesitant because he has also fallen in love with Beth and doesn't really want to put her in danger after all. So can Beth help with this mission? Can Marcus and his whole team bring down the sex traffickers? Can Marcus and Beth have an HEA after going through all the trauma of this mission? I highly recommend this great romantic suspense book.

This is a story that has plenty of suspense and drama as well as a fair bit of danger for our heroine
Marcus is the leader of a group of ragtag mercenaries who do the jobs that no one else can and his youngest team member is Bethany (Beth) They have been tasked with trying to stop a sex trafficking ring that is working overseas that has lead to the disappearance of innumerable woman and even their deaths Marcus intends to set Beth up to be kidnapped so getting her inside the ruing so that they can break it open There is only one thing wrong with his plan he has fallen for his youngest team member and after sleeping with her he can't abide putting her in danger Will the man who has always had a reputation for been cool no matter the situation finally found that one thing that could break him.

Marcus was outsmarted by Beth the first time they met. Once she's old enough, she joins his mercenary team. They're trying to take down an international sex trade ring, and Beth is going undercover. She loves Marcus, but he shies away from her - he's twice her age. He's tough and hard, and he falls in love with her anyway. What a roller coaster of a story! Obviously, there's the older man-younger woman aspect with the steaminess that comes with that, but there's also suspense and drama. This was a great book to read - my first from this author, but not the last.

I absolutely loved this book! I was hooked from the very first words. I could not put this book down. This book sucked me in and wouldn't let me go. Its a real page tuned I stayed up half the night to finish. I just had to know what was gonna happen next. I was in love with Bethany and Marcus from the beginning I found myself pulling for the from just the Prologue. I am having a hard time reviewing this without giving away to much. The one thing I can say is this is a must read! I would recommend this book to any one that loves a good read.

This was my first time reading this author and I really enjoyed it. It had danger, drama, suspense, mystery and hot steamy romance. Marcus is leading a team up against sex slave traders. Beth is his youngest team member who he needs to go undercover and kidnapped by the sex traders. The problem is Marcus has fallen in love with Beth and doesn't want her in danger. Will Marcus put the mission in jeopardy? Will they get their HEA? It's a definite must read and I can't wait to read more!!!!

Tempting Marcus is the first book in the Mercenary Heat series. This exciting romantic suspense story is a great start to this new series. The characters are well developed, strong, likable, and have great chemistry together even though he is twice her age. The storyline is well written and engaging, with sex traffickers, mystery, intrigue, suspense, and an older man/younger woman romance.
I am looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Oh Marcus! I loved this book by Jan Graham. It had suspense, danger, mystery and of course, some hot "togetherness" LOL I've only read a few of Jan Graham's books but the ones I have read have always been very well written. YOu can feel the emotions pouring out as you read the book. Highly suggest this book! Can't wait for the next one!

Marcus and his crew do contract work for law enforcement and the government. Bethany works for him and they been dancing around each other. Marcus is twenty-one years older than her and feels she should be with someone close to her age. He also keeps his business and personal life separate. Bethany is bound and determined to be part of both. I really enjoyed this book.

This is not my first time reading this author, but it is my favorite so far!! Marcus, Marcus, Marcus what can I say about you... he is a mercenary about 20 years Bethany’s senior. From day one he is fighting his attraction to Beth. Marcus recruits Beth to work with him and his team of misfits and uses her as bait with sex traffickers. When things go sideways will Marcus loose Beth?

I really enjoyed Tempting Marcus not only is it a good romantic suspense it is also a really well written older man /younger woman romance. The storyline was really good and quickly sucked me in I enjoyed it and look forward to reading more from this author.

Marcus and Beth are undeniable. I love the older man/younger woman niche and this did not disappoint. The overwhelming dread of putting someone you love in such a dangerous position. Shivers.
