When Kenley Mitchell loses her job and her boyfriend all in one week, she decides to cash in her severance pay and book a week-long trip to Florida. A relaxing vacation by the beach is just what she needs – she’ll lose herself in the sand and the sun, doing her best to forget all her problems. But on her first night there, Kenley runs into star baseball player Jake Easton. The only problem? As far as she’s concerned, he doesn’t deserve her help with anything. But when he makes her an offer she can’t refuse, Kenley somehow finds herself signing up for a stint as his fake girlfriend. She knows it sounds crazy, but whatever. It’ll be strictly business, right? But when the sparks start to fly, Kenley and Jake are going to have to figure out what’s real, and what isn’t. It started with Kenley Mitchell losing her job and her boyfriend in the same week. Kenley took her severance and saving on a vacation to Florida. That is where she meets Jake Easton famous baseball player. Kenley agreed to be a fake girlfriend for Jake Easton famous 1st basement baseball player.

Jake just agreed to pay Kenley $100,000.00 he wanted to spend more time with her, but he was pretending it wasn't affecting him. Saying you'll have a shiny new endorsement deal, whats a $100,000.00. He underestimated Kenley but now that it was done he was excited to spend more time with Kenley. He finally called his best friend Gabe to question him about how did he know when he knew that his fiancé was the one. Gabe saw right through Jake and Jake confessed everything and Gabe told him that he was falling for Kenley but Jake denied it. Kenley was arriving in NYC soon.

Kenley decided after the offer of $100,000 to leave Florida and go to Connecuti get more clothes tell her sister Melissa everything and fly to NYC to be with Jake to be seen as his new fake girlfriend. Kenley meets Jake's best friend and fiancé at a restaurant as she goes to bathroom to take a call she is met with her old boyfriend Jeremy. Jake came to the rescue and said all the right things but Kenley realizing her reality wanted end their night and go back to Jake's apartment. Jake protected her and she felt safe with him.
