Tristan and Jared have got it made. When they aren’t raking in the cash together at Market Garden, they’re burning up their own sheets and getting closer by the day. But something isn’t right. Tristan’s on edge, and Jared doesn’t understand why.

Before they can hash things out, their services are requested by none other than Rolex. And Rolex doesn’t just want to be a bystander this time. He wants Jared while Tristan watches, and he’s more than willing to pay for it.

But Tristan’s reached a breaking point, and even that huge wad of cash might not be enough to keep tonight’s arrangement from crashing and burning.

L.A. Witt and her husband have been exiled from Spain and sent to live in Maine because rhymes are fun. She now divides her time between writing, assuring people she is aware that Maine is cold, wondering where to put her next tattoo, and trying to reason with a surly Maine coon. Rumor has it her arch nemesis, Lauren Gallagher, is also somewhere in the wilds of New England, which is why L.A. is also spending a portion of her time training a team of spec ops lobsters.

Authors Ann Gallagher and Lori A. Witt have been asked to assist in lobster training, but they "have books to write" and "need to focus on our careers" and "don't you think this rivalry has gotten a little out of hand?" They're probably just helping Lauren raise her army of squirrels trained to ride moose into battle.

The Market Garden series is just like hotness personified. I have yet to read one that I haven't loved and this one was another huge success!

When Rolex guy visits Market Garden again, Tristan and Jared are hired to spend the night making Rolex's dreams come true. However, Tristan and Jared are still trying to figure out where they stand with each other and playing with Rolex makes everything come to a head. What followed was both nice emotional closure for Tristan and Jared, and a sex scene so hot that steam was coming out of my ears! I swear, these authors know just how to make us readers squirm!

Enjoy the hot three-way action, my friends. And keep writing Voinov and Witt!

Can’t think of a better ending for Tristan and Jared. 😍 And you guys know I’m usually not a fan of ménage à trois but goddamn, Rolex being sandwiched between these two boys are insanely hot! 🔥🔥🔥 Mama needs a shower, no wait, an ice bath!!! 😂🔥👏 Damn, these two just know how to push Rolex’s buttons and mine. I loved their journey from the beginning until the very end. And I hope I’ll still see them in the future. For now, I’m definitely drunk on sex. 😏😉🔥

My favorite Rent Boys are back!
The thought of sitting back and watching Rolex fuck Jared was simultaneously the hottest thing Tristan could imagine, and the most frustrating. He wanted to be the one moving inside Jared while Rolex watched. Or to hell with Rolex. He wanted Jared.
Jared and no one else.
By the end of Take It Off, Tristan & Jared were at the beginning of a beautiful relationship. They cared for each other, worked together, and got paid absurd amounts of money to entertain as a couple.

Important Announcement:
My birthday is in July... Do you know what I want?
I want to be in the middle of a Tristan and Jared Sandwich...
For days... Weeks, even...
Can I make a Kickstarter to contract the services of fictional Rent Boys?
Is the fact that I have a vagina a deal breaker?
I'm forming an exploratory committee...

Tristan & Jared are my favorite Rent Boys (so far) in the Market Garden Series... Their story is told over three short stories: Quid Pro Quo, Take It Off, & Payoff...

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to read more of their journey. And quite frankly, I needed this boost of good ol' fashion sex and sweetness after the emotional powerhouse that was Capture & Surrender.

Despite all the good things happening in the world of Tristan & Jared (both inside & outside Market Garden) Tristan is acting strange... And Jared can't figure out why...
If Tristan was upset or unhappy, the least he could do was fucking say something.

Except if he said something, it might be "this isn't working" or "we shouldn't see each other anymore," and Jared couldn't stomach either option. He wanted more, not less.
So Tristan is brooding, Jared is fuming, and the silence is building. Just when Jared thinks he has the balls to confront his partner on his odd behavior, the universe throws them a curve ball... In the form of their old client Rolex. The mysterious American john (who is responsible for Tristan and Jared working together) has a new request. One which might break the pair...

Yup, hot little wrap up to the Tristan/Jared relationship.
I think Tristan is fabulous and like that Jared has a bit more of a backbone. Not than I minded him sans backbone.. it was kind of adorable.
Cringe-worthy moments where I was like, "Awwww shit, you boys are gonna get thrown out on yo asses!"
This was hot, just like the first two with these boys in it. Not too mushy, not too lovey-dovey.. just right.

weeping over porn 😭😭😭, well it seems that work has fucked me up harder this week than I thought. Anyway, a good short piece to kick off the weekend. I would have liked a tiny bit of romance for this third part about Jared and Tristan though.

The quiet little moans coming from Jared were anything but fake. Rolex knew exactly how to kiss him. Bastard. 🥺

Tristan is not happy with the situation. He's jealous of people having sex with Jared. Bit he doesn't dare to admit outloud he longs for a serious relationship.

Another scene with Rolex will put their agreement in jeopardy. Will they be able to sort ot out and build something meaningful together?

Well, it was better than book #2. Hot threesome sex in a few pages. Enjoyable.

I recently had the pleasure of doing another buddy read with my favorite Aussie (my ONLY Aussie), SueC. Sue and I read most of The Administration series together, so I know she's a pro when it comes to a BR. Plus? We both have hardcore love for Aleks Voinov AND the Market Garden series he does with L.A. Witt. So without further ado, here's our review of Payoff.

Jenni: So if you've read the Market Garden series to this point, you know we're dealing with rent boys. What I love about the way Voinov and Witt write this series is that these aren't simple, troubled, down-and-out types (I'm not suggesting a rent boy has to be, bear with me here...). What I'm getting at is that the guys in this series are smart and complicated and looking for something more to fulfill themselves. I love that we get to glimpse their world and see them struggle with work and love just like the rest of us. Ahem. Well. Sort of. ;-)

Sue: Yep, in Payoff we see what happens after the boys realize they want more than casual sex.

Jenni: I have to ask, when you saw Payoff pop up on Goodreads a few weeks ago, what were your first thoughts?

Sue: Well, to be honest, I thought to myself. "Oh yeah! This is going to be AWESOME" because Market Garden is short, fun and you're guaranteed sexy time with smoking hot tension. I mean, that's why we read the series right? Is it what you were expecting?

Jenni: It was even better! I liked Tristan and Jared when I first read about them in Quid Pro Quo, but Payoff gave us a chance to find out more about what makes these two tick. And to touch on something you mentioned: the tension! GAH, it's just the right amount, enough to move the story--and the time you're spending with these guys--forward. It's delicious!

SUE: Oh dear God, yes--the tension. I think I stopped breathing at the 80% mark. My eyes were about to pop out of my head--it was that good.

Jenni: I know *exactly* the part you're talking about. Yes. I. Do. And at that particular point, I thought to myself, "Are Voinov and Witt going there?" PLEASE, SEXY TIME GODS, PLEASE LET THEM GO THERE."

Sue: Praise The Lord! *raises hands in the air*

You know what else I really liked? I liked that there were details in these 52 pages that told a story behind the story. We saw one of these characters crack under the strain of their relationship and job, and with that, we were shown the reasoning and feelings relating to the scenes. It wasn't just smut, it was also about negotiating their lives and needs.

Now let's talk about the happiest/luckiest third wheel in the world: Rolex. He’s the sexiest faceless character ever, right?

Jenni: You are SO spot on! Rolex is mysterious, hot (I *loved* reading his physical description!), rich, but above all, he seems tender. This guy is paying attention to the details! He might be indulging in the services of a rent boy, but you'd never know it by his actions.

Sue: He seems tentative at first, but turns out he knows what he wants, is an assertive kisser, is a tease, likes to pay for sex and is seriously talented in the boudoir (and other places ;)). But more importantly, he's someone who we become invested in. Who is this sexy beast? What makes him tick? WHAT'S HIS STORY?

Jenni: Exactly! And if I know Voinov and Witt, I bet you'll be getting his full story one of these days, Sue. I think it was so perfectly fitting that Rolex was the one to bring Tristan and Jared's feelings for each other to the forefront, you know? I mean, what he does for them, let's face it, most johns aren't gonna be THAT patient. He gives our boys time to work some things out, and I'll forever bow at his designer shoes for that.

So what do you say? How many stars?

Sue: 4 stars for me.

Jenni: Yep! 4 stars for me, too! *fist bump* Oh my gosh, how much longer until the NEXT Market Garden comes out?!?

Oh! These boys! Jared and Tristan were my first official m/m romance with Quid Pro Quo. Yeah, I don’t do anything slow, I jump right in with both feet and total determination. I was not disappointed in what I got. Far from it. In just the few pages I got from Jared’s POV as he finally had the opportunity to be with Tristan, even if it was paid for by the john we only know as “Rolex,” it was worth it. These two were my first, they…for lack of a better term, popped my m/m romance cherry and they will always hold that coveted title. No, I don’t think highly of myself to say that, I think highly of them to say it.

With Take it Off, we got the boys again but this time, we got Tristan’s POV. He loves the power, the control over this game he and Jared play with Rolex but he is changing. His feelings toward Jared are changing and that is a move he wasn’t expecting. Did he get what he wanted in the end? More time with Jared?

Pay Off…love the title - unf…starts with the boys doing what they do best. They are still at team yet in their down time they are spending more and more time together alone. There is tension in the air as we get Jared trying to figure out what is up with Tristan when…
“Holy shit.” Tristan’s eyes were fixed on the door. “Look who walked in.”

Oh yeah, Rolex is back and he knows exactly what he wants, more time with his favorite pair of rent boys. There is something not quite right; is it his request to turn the tables while he has Jared and Tristan watches or is it that Tristan can’t handle watching anyone other than him touch Jared? That dilemma right there is what makes this book so damn hot.
“You gentlemen free?”

"We’re hardly gentlemen, and we’re never free. You know that."

Now , with book one we got Jared’s POV, in book two we got Tristan’s POV and I thought we would be going back to Jared with this but oh no, our off the charts hotter than hot pair BOTH give us their POV’s in this one. Damn but that makes this book stellar! It couldn’t have been any other way, we need to know what each of them is thinking.
Holy Fuck…Is there anything you two can’t make sexy?

Um, no. There isn’t. Now I won’t go into detail with this, there are so few pages of the boys that if you have read them before, you need to experience it all for yourself. But I will say that I was impressed with this. To have me turned on, anxious, heartbroken and swoony basically through this entire story is just amazing. I should not be turned on and tearing up at the same time yet the authors pulled those exact emotions from me.

Pay Off is just that. It’s a complete pay off for the story of Tristan and Jared. A great conclusion to their story that while I could have read more and more from them, I am satisfied with the ending. I will miss them but at least I, yes I (they are my special boys dammit!) was given three wonderful stories with them in it. From start to finish, from the first OMFG that was HOT in Quid Pro Quo to the last word in this, I would experience the boys all over again and boys,
You’re well worth it…

Seriously. WTF is Rolex's name?

I need a dedicated Rolex story since all my rent boys keep retiring.

Again with the retiring because we're IN LUB and I don't' want you fucking other dudes. My favorite rent boys too. Rub salt in the wound why don't you, Wonder Twins!

Disappointed Cupcake is disappointed.

Anyhoo, back to Rolex.

Rolex is FUCKHHHHOOOOOOTTTTTTT, Y'all.

AND he's always cashed up and has a couple of things that turn his crank that make me all…
description

So, I'm thinking maybe this Jason cat will catch his eye and they will fuck each other til the cows come home. Naturally, they will fall IN LUB, but maybe before they settle down into domesticity they can lure Tristan and Jared out of retirement for a daisy chain.

Annnnnnddddd Jazz Hands. Because.

Tristan, Jared, you deliciously, horny bastards, I will miss you. I wish you all the best. Yeah, I'm a little fussy you're hoarding all your fuckhottedness, but I'll survive. I just wish I could peek in every now and then or at least listen. We could Skype? I'll be quiet as a church mouse. Promise.

Payoff is another must read in the Market Garden series.

L.A. Witt & Aleksandr Voinov unveils... Tristan and Jared's conclusion to their intimate story.

Tristan’s on edge, and Jared doesn't understand why.

So when Rolex makes a return visit to the Market Garden.... he makes an interesting offer.

He doesn't want to watch this time, he want's JARED and he wants Tristan to watch!!

The evening throw's some very interesting shifts in dynamics.

Leaving Tristan consumed and at breaking point about his relationship with Jared and their whole situation.

My mind was reeling from the anticipation and tension that dripped from each and every word written in the text. And I was holding my breathe with every page.

You could feel the tension in the air with this one. Hissing breathes, hooded looks, yes definitely T.E.N.S.I.O.N. and I loved it.

It was extremely erotic and a great hot read!!

I received this book as an ARC through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed the conclusion to Tristan, and Jared's story. It felt like just the right ending to the arc of their relationship, and it left me with a feeling of closure. I liked seeing their feelings for each other develop of the course of the three stories. It felt natural to me, and I liked that this felt happy without feeling too sappy or out of character. I liked how Tristan's jealousy, and love were dealt with, and how that worked into the job they were on. The sex was truly hot, and I ended up with a lot of respect for Rolex. I'm really hoping that he is the boss in the next Market Garden book. I liked the respect he seems to have for Tristan, and Jared. This is fast becoming one of my all time favorite series. I was a bit hesitant for the next one,but after reading this I am a lot more excited.

THAT. WAS. SMOKING. HOT!!

If you're looking for something VERY HOT, this is exactly your book!

If you like hottest ménage, this threesome will definitely get you excited!

A.Voinov & L.A.Witt are great as a writing duo of the most delicious erotica and they've already shown that they can do it not only hot but also very emotionally.

Tristan and Jared though have never been my favourite couple of the series and comparing to Capture & Surrender Payoff is somewhat lacking in emotional intensity for me.
But it is entirely personal response.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading it-in spite of I'm not a big fan of ménage- and I'm waiting very impatiently for the next sequel!

They might not have the longest books in the Market Garden series but Tristan and Jared have always been my favourite characters, alongside Rolex who has not only spiced up their life but he's also spiced up mine a fair bit!
In this one, which wraps up their story, its pretty obvious that these two sexy minx's relationship has gone way beyond a professional partnership and we've watched that happen over the course of the series. In this one Tristan is showing definite signs that the little green monster inside him doesn't want to share Jared any more and when a very familiar face turns up and says he doesn't just want to watch again, he wants Jared.... Well, let's just say things come to a head and decisions are made... In an extremely hot way of course! ;)

Just as sexy as always, just as endearing, I have to give this my "five stars for sheer enjoyment" rating. I love these guys and being that they're short, sweet and VERY satisfying. They're a permanent fixture on my Kindle for when I want a sexy snack! I'm going to sort of miss them but they're not far away for a revisit..... *sigh*

They. Are. Back! Are you ready for some more porn with plot?

Payoff is another page turner from the skilled duo of L.A. Witt and Aleksandr Voinov. It's the return of Tristan, Jared and sugar daddy Rolex, the American business man with no limit to his budget and a preference for watching.

In Quid Pro Quo and Take It Off Jared and Tristan, even though you could feel the attraction between the guys, weren't a couple, but in Payoff , finally, we see them as more than just colleagues. When not working as rent boy’s they are sleeping together and getting closer by the day. But something isn’t right. Tristan seems to be depressed, and Jared doesn’t understand why, so of course that’s exactly the moment a familiar face shows up and requests their services. However this time Rolex doesn’t only want to watch, he wants to spice up the night… and he wants Jared!
“What’s your pleasure, then?"
"Something I thought about all the way across Atlantic."
Rolex's gaze slid towards Jared, then back towards Tristan.
"Watching you guys was hot, but I think I'm in the mood to be watched tonight.”

The character’s connection is breath-taking to watch. Jared and Tristan have finally developed more than a working relationship. In the previous books Tristan seemed in complete control all the time, so in Payoff I enjoyed seeing Tristan’s possessive side, showing his true feelings and going all caveman on Jared. The only thing missing was a fierce ‘MINE‘ .

As always, this book does a great job of balancing the sex with the storyline even in just a few pages. It’s a fast paced, page turning read, loaded with subtle humour, nuclear hot sex and tender romance, all wrapped up in a steaming hot novella. These two authors really manage to pack so much into so few words that you just can’t stop reading.

All in all, Payoff is a great addition to a thoroughly enjoyable series and even if I’m more a Nick - slash - Frank fangirl, I would be more than happy to get another glimpse of Tristan and Jared in the future. And of course Rolex also needs his counterpart! I’m crossing my fingers that we get to see more of him in future Market Garden books.

Recommended to all the minions of the Market Garden series and to all those who will be getting there in the near future.

Holy smokes! Tristan and Jared’s books are by far the hottest! All of that MMM action *fans self*

It took three “books” to get their full story but it was worth the wait. I’m definitely going to miss these two.

Apparently I read Rolex’s (the third M featured with Tristan and Jared) book 2 years ago but may have to do a re-read now that I have more of the back story.

But first....Red Tie guy! :)

In Quid Pro Quo and Take It Off we saw how Jared and Tristan began to serve the johns together and how they came from co-workers to co-workers with benefits. And you could feel the mutural attraction they feel for each other.

Tristan is a bit off lately when good ol' Rolex visits Market Garden again. But this time he don't want to watch but rather be watched. And he wants Jared!

After Nick and Spencer's/Frank and Brandon/Stefan's stories it was refreshing to read something with kind of a lighter plot again. This doesn't mean I didn't like this story any less.

Finally!!! Jared and Tristan are getting their HEA. And finally we get to see Tristans possessive side towards Jared.
"So this is a declaration? We're... more?"
"Certainly on this end."

I also have to say Rolex scored big time in this episode for me. His understanding and careing reaction when Tristan lost his composure impressed me over the top. And it let me hope for him to get his HEA sooner rather than later.

The sex was steaming again and I had my awww-moments nonetheless. Even when I felt the sex with Jared and Rolex were not right in the beginning I can't say it didn't effect me.
The thought of sitting back and watching Rolex fuck Jared was simultaneously the hottest thing Tristan could imagine, and the most frustrating. He wanted to be the one moving inside Jared while Rolex watched.

As much as I love for all my lovely rentboys to find their love and settle down, I'm a bit sad they're all retireing.

Frank, you need some replacements ASAP!!! And please find some as georgeous as the others!!!

This review will have spoilers if you haven't read the series yet! But if you haven't read the series yet, get to it!

Market Garden is a club in London with an exclusive clientele with very hot and sexy rent boys to service their every need. The series has focused on different couples - some short stories that are hot and sexy, some longer stories, some focused on new characters and some giving us more of the characters we love.

Tristan and Jared are the original rentboys. In the first book, Quid Pro Quo, Jared has a crush on Tristan. Rolex (their client) requests to see them together making Jared's dreams come true - heaps of sexual tension and passion! In the second book,Take It Off, it's Tristan who can't stop thinking of Jared. It's hot and sexy with Jared in control and ends with Tristan and Jared acknowledging their interest in each other outside of Market Garden.

Books 3 (If It Flies) and 4 (If It Fornicates) focus on Nick and Spencer's story while book 5 (Capture & Surrender) is about Frank and Stefan.

Payoff, the sixth book in the series, takes us back to Tristan and Jared. With a similar feel to the first books, it's hot and sexy and short but manages to pack in a lot in those pages. Rolex returns but this time his request is something that Tristan finds really difficult to handle. Rolex wants Tristan to watch while he plays with Jared.

Filled with tension - an interesting combination of emotional and sexual tension - things finally come to a climax for these boys as they come to terms with how to balance working together and being together.

Hot and satisfying!

Wow! Just wow!
It was one of the hottest 3way scenes I've ever read! Seriously!!! :)

As Jared said at the end:
"Somebody pour me into a bottle and get me home. Not sure I have any bones left."

Yeah... That's more or less how I felt, too... ;)

Jared and Tristan finally get closer to each other and Rolex...? Well, he's such a good guy. I like him very much ;)

Great instalment!!!

I loved the other characters a lot but I’m glad we finally circled back to Tristan and Jared – I was starting to think we’d never get a proper resolution to their story.

As always with these two this was a quick, fun, spicy read – and a fitting conclusion to their storyline.

A review by The Blogger Girls.

Jared and Tristan are back in action! Unfortunately, they seem to be going through a bit of a rough patch these days as carrying on their relationship while continuing to work at the Garden appears to be taking its toll. Tristan seems to be the more affected of the two, but before Jared can confront and get to the bottom of their issues, Rolex is back, requesting their services once again. This time, however, he wants to turn the tables a bit.

I loved Rolex from day one, and that doesn’t change any in this installment either. Considering how much money he is shelling out, he is quite patient and considerate of the guys. Sensing they (Tristan) are having trouble with the way things are progressing, he steps aside for them to work things out. What then ensues is a super hot scene reminiscent of what took place in book 1. These three are smoking hot together no matter which way things are done.

I was not quite as blown away this time as I was in book one, mostly due to the fact that I wasn’t enjoying Tristan bringing things down so much, but when they get things squared away, everything I enjoy about it comes flying back. I love this series overall and continue to look forward to each story. Each one is very well written, and the end product is never lacking in quality. They definitely make my list of favorite rent boy stories.

Rolex is back! So, of course, that means Jared and Tristian are too! *YES!*
And he's ready to play.
Buttttttt.......
Suddenly, the vibe shifts and it doesn't feel like a game anymore.
This is exactly what I had hoped for between Tristian and Jared.
Hot 'n sexy with just the right amount of sweet.
Yep, this was good!
