When the stakes are this high, it’s game on. . . .

“Kelly Jamieson is an auto-buy for me.”—New York Times bestselling author Carly Phillips

Cam Brickley and his pro hockey teammates bet on who can win five faceoffs in a row, who can do forty pushups in less than a minute, who can eat a ghost pepper without puking. But when his buddies bet him he can’t date the same woman—like, say, the hot blonde over at the bar—for two months and not fall in love, he’ll take that bet all day. Then he’ll laugh all the way to the hockey arena, where they’ll be washing his jock straps for the rest of the season, because Cam’s never giving up his bachelor lifestyle.

Olivia Lockwood, heiress to the Lockwood Industries fortune, is used to people using her for her money and family connections. When Cam Brickley hits on her in a club, Olivia’s first instinct is to brush him off. But he couldn’t be using her for her money, since he has more than enough of his own. Cam’s gorgeous and built, and it would be no hardship to go out with him . . . besides, he’d be the perfect spokesperson for the children’s charity she works with. Maybe it’s time for her to start using people.

Cam and Olivia are both in it for something. What they don’t know yet is that they’re playing for keeps.

Like many other OTT cheesy romance ooks, this book delivered just that. Cheesy characters with super insta lust moment. OTT plot about a boy who swear off love and a girl who changes him in a heartbeat. There is no major twist. Low angst and low drama.

The romance is serves quick and forced. Dont get me wrong. I do like this book OK. Its an easy read on Christmas eve waiting for my dinner.

This is the final book in the series and what a great ending it had. I was happy to see this team really sore in Game On. I've gotten to know each one and have loved getting their individual stories.

Game On is Cam and Olivia's story. While all of the previous main characters are in each book, the author did a great job of making them each a standalone book.

Cam was a tough character for me. I liked him but he had his moments where I didn't. This is where the author showed some great character growth. He's the player that has never failed at anything and we got to see a glimpse into his life and how there is more to his story and why he is the way that he is.

I really liked Olivia. She did have some insecurities but they seemed justified and I never felt like they truly got in the way of her and Cam. She really put herself out there for him once she realized she was falling in love with him. I loved to see that especially after all that has happened with her.

For the last book, I loved that the author filled it with some great history of Chicago, IL. I actually live near there and I learned some fascinating things I feel like I should have already known. My next trip to Chicago will be with new eyes.

I'm sad to see this series is over but was reassured that the author is not done with bringing us more hockey romances in the future.

Sweet sports romance.

This book started off slow for me but once I settled in, I really started to enjoy this read.
What I really love about Kelly Jamieson's characters is the slow build that she gives them, in other words it takes a while to really get to know who they are but it is generally always worth the wait and entertaining along the way.

Cam is a case in point, he initially appears much more superficial (and that's aside from the fact that it is made clear fairly quickly that he really isn't a relationship type of guy) but as it turns out he does have many really sweet qualities and he also possesses an honesty and integrity that you wouldn't initially suspect at first glance.

Overall, this was a really pleasant read and a good finish to the "Aces Hockey" series .
Not necessarily my favorite book by this author but I did like it plenty.
Kelly is an author that could easily write well any type of romance IMO but she certainly does know her Hockey and is definitely one of my favorite authors to read. I am never fearful of disappointment from her and I really like her fun, fairly low angst style.

Sporty, Sexy, and Sweet!

Game On is a passionate, lighthearted RomCom about the focused, determined Olivia who has no problem going on a few harmless dates with a hunky athlete if it means some free publicity for her children’s foundation and the hard-bodied, delicious Cam who’s so happy being a bachelor that he has no problem betting on his ability to not fall in love.

The writing is crisp and light. The characters, including all the supporting characters, are charismatic, fun-loving, and kind. And the plot is the perfect blend of heat, drama, emotion, humour, sassy banter, chemistry, friendship, love, and hockey.

Game On is the eighth and final story in the Aces Hockey series, and even though it’s a little bittersweet to say goodbye to the characters we’ve come to know and love from the previous novels, it is nevertheless a fabulous ending to a superb series that I will undoubtedly miss.

Thank you to NetGalley, especially Random House – Loveswept, for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.

“Let’s make a bet.” Chaser leaned on the table.

“I bet you can’t see the same woman for two months in a row without falling in love with her.” “What?” I scoffed. “That’s stupid. I don’t fall in love.”

“Doesn’t matter how long I date someone,” I said. “I won’t fall in love.”

Out of my league? Phhhhht. Remember how I said I like women? Well, women like me too. Not being a cocky asshole—it’s true. My belief? Women like me because they know I like them.

“Not all men are cheaters.” Noah nudged my shoulder on the other side of me. “Mmm. Sure.”

Yeah, that was me…hit it and quit it. But I had to make Olivia want to go out with me again. And again.

“I like a girl who drinks beer.” “I have a feeling you just like girls.”

“Okay, what game should we play next?”

How could Olivia be afraid of Magnum?

Two months was all I had to do to win the bet, and we were already three weeks in. No problem.

Jesus. What if someone had said something about me asking Nicky’s girlfriend Jodie out last year? And how I’d been pissed off at Nicky for kind of stealing her away.

“Is my sweet little pussy okay? That was kinda rough.” “Your pussy?” She lifted her head and glared at me. “Excuse me?” I smirked. “I licked it so it’s mine.”

“I’m sorry, Olivia. I can’t. I like being friends with you—” “Friends!” I shouted the word, not meaning to. I tried again. “Friends?” “Yeah, you know…we don’t have to end things, but—”

I'm kind of obsessed with this series and this finale was a sweet little reminder that I haven't actually read every book. I can't wait to go back to the beginning and read about all the couples I've missed because this finale isn't just a delicious romance about a hockey player and the girl he dates on a bet, but it's a beautifully unforgettable farewell to every couple that has found an HEA in this series!

I couldn't stop reading this book. Everything about Cam and Olivia was addictive and romantic and steamy. I seriously could not get enough of them.

Cam is a guy who doesn't take chances. He won't roll the dice on anything he isn't sure he can win. And because of that, he never loses. Olivia, on the other hand, can't catch a break. She knows she can't win in a number of aspects of her life so even though she's reluctant to even try, she continues wearing her heart on her sleeve, even if things don't typically pan out. Of course, this creates an addictive, complicated dynamic between two characters who agree to date with conditions.

Kelly Jamieson is my go-to for yummy, sexy sports romances packed with steam and a good dose of angst. This book was especially delicious because Cam is freaking AMAZING. I was so annoyed with him and his womanizing antics in Big Stick but ooooh man did I just adore him in Game On. The affectionate, thoughtful side beneath that noncommittal exterior was just EVERYTHING and I really enjoyed watching him discover all the things he never thought he'd want.

I'm sad to see this series end but I'm delighted to go back and discover all the Aces romances I skipped. Game On was sweet and sexy, romantic and fun and it was absolutely the perfect farewell to this unforgettable series.

It is always hard for me when an author finishes a series I’ve truly enjoyed and Kelly Jamieson’s Aces Hockey series has been a favorite of mine since its inception. This book deserves 5 stars alone for the last chapter, Ms. Jamieson’s description of what was happening not only gave me goose bumps, but I could easily see the scene and I felt every emotion while reading it. Sweet, funny, sexy, and intense all describe this book and it was an absolute perfect way to end this series.

I’m not a fan of game playing or men making bets about women so at the start of this book, I was worried I was going to be disappointed in it, but thankfully there were some twists and turns that had the truth coming out pretty quickly and it was easy to settle into this romance. Cam “Brick” Brickley is a pro hockey player and enjoying everything that comes with that including a never ending parade of women, but when one of his teammates bets him he can’t date a woman for 2 months straight and not fall in love he takes it knowing that won’t be a problem. He doesn’t believe in everlasting love or long term commitments and he doesn’t think it will be difficult, but his first hurdle is Olivia “Liv” Lockwood who doesn’t seem too interested in even going out with him once.

I liked Cam despite the fact he was a bit immature at times and pretty self centered. I think in that way Liv was good for him because it made him look beyond his small circle and himself. I hate to say it but at times Liv got on my nerves, she seemed to be that “poor little rich girl” who felt sorry for the kid/teen she use to be and couldn’t seem to move past it no matter what she accomplished or who told her she was a good, kind, and beautiful woman. I toyed with my rating on this book because at times both these characters got on my nerves, BUT (and this is huge), they both also showed real growth throughout this book which I appreciated.

To say the start of their dating life was interesting is putting it mildly but it was good for a lot of laughs and I did enjoy watching them get to know one another before getting physical. Cam’s idea of a first date was really great and while it didn’t end well due to unforeseen circumstances, they got to know each other and we as readers got to know quite a bit about them which is always a good thing. They kind of fell into an easy relationship and because they knew there was an end date and both were quick to say they didn’t want anything permanent, yet they were happiest when they were together and it took them a pretty long time to figure out their feelings had changed.

There was a lot of hockey in this book and it was quite thrilling and we saw a lot of the other players (and previous couples in this series) throughout and I loved spending time with them all again. I have to make note that two players were mentioned at the end that were from Ms. Jamieson’s Bayard (college) series which I loved seeing that crossover as well.

The thing that really made this book unforgettable was the last chapter, it summed up my feelings for this whole series and while I am sad to see it end, Ms. Jamieson took it out on a really high note.

Final book of the series and it is stellar. Cam Brickley likes to make bets with this fellow players, most of them are now attached to a significant other, but not Brick. No he swears that will never be. So the bet after he sees an attractive woman at the bar is that he can't date someone for two months without falling in love. Cam takes that bet. He doesn't do love. Easy win for him. All he has to do is get this beauty to go out with him.
Olivia Lockwood comes from money and runs a not for profit charity, unlike the rest of her siblings who are either in the family business or ridiculously successful in their own right. Then there's Olivia, who wanted nothing to do with that. Her backstory unfolds as the story goes on.
The two date and when Cam starts to have feelings for Olivia, he feels like he needs to tell her about the bet, Olivia using that to her advantage makes it into a game. After all she did hook Brick into being a spokesperson and helps her out with her charity. She offers to play along and let the guys think theres's nothing between them, when even single sign says otherwise. Their chemistry was outrageous and holy hotness some serious sheet burning. Both have feelings for each other.
These two were interesting characters, Cam was a tough one to warm up to but through the book you see him change and also help Olivia through her problems with her family. We see Olivia become more self confident and more open. And when Kelly J drops the other shoe in a story, damn you don't see that coming and she does it every single time.
I read the whole series and am sad to see this come to an end but I know she'll have something great waiting to be read. Fantastic end to the series and a blazing 5 star read.

Dual POV, sports romance with low angst, some miscommunication, and a happy ending.

While I enjoyed the fact that the "bet" was disclosed pretty early on, and I liked the cameradie between Cam and his teammates, and I really liked that even though this is the 8th book in a series I haven't read before I had no trouble following along...Game On just wasn't my cup of tea.

Olivia's near constant "I'm not worthy" refrain, the way the two don't recognize they're actually falling for each other, the aftermath of the bet ending, and how glacially slow the pacing of this book was...none of it made this enjoyable for me, but mostly I just found the character of Olivia utterly exhausting.

I hope you enjoy it more than I did.

I can't help myself, I love this hockey series. Nothing too complicated, but spot on with the hockey details, and always believable, lovable characters. I just gobble these up. Too bad this is the last of the series.:(

Hopefully I'll have a review closer to the publishing date.

This was a bittersweet read for me, because I love the Aces so much. I actually just discovered them last year, and then binged the rest of the series in 2018. I am really happy I did, because I enjoyed getting to know this team, and also, being a part of the the final chapter with them.

It's sort of fitting, that Jamieson chose Cam as her last Aces hero. Being a commitment-phobe, he was the last player we expected to see becoming a one-woman-man. He didn't do commitment. He didn't like taking chances on things he wasn't sure he could ace, but once he opened the door to Olivia, it was game on. And, all it took was a bet.

I wasn't sure about Cam, after having met him in previous books, but with him the central focus in Game On, I got to see that there was a lot more to Cam than met the eye. I saw his sweet and considerate side, his dedication to his family, and his big heart. There were all these little things he did, that made me, as well as Olivia, love him more and more.

Olivia was great too. Growing up the daughter of a very powerful family, she had been used and misled one too many times, and was now hesitant to trust her heart. That coupled with some self-confidence issues created by her past and the way her family treated her, made watching the evolution of her relationship with Cam very satisfying.

The combination of Olivia and Cam was fabulous. There was the attraction and heat, that I always like to see crackling between my hero and heroine, but I also loved how fun Jamieson made their interactions. Their first few dates bordered on rom-com, and I absolutely loved it! But, I also adored seeing them get beneath the surface and expose so much to each other.

It was not just the romance, which won my heart in the book, it was the wonderful farewell Jamieson gave to this group of guys. It was a fond farewell to all the couples we saw get their HEAs. Everyone was in attendance, and the finish was big and very, very satisfying.

I will miss the Aces, but look forward to what Jamieson has in store for us next.

Overall: Another fabulous Aces book, that was about taking chances, and the rewards you can gain when you open yourself and your heart.

Game On was the eighth and final book in the Aces Hockey series by Kelly Jamieson. I’ve loved the series with all previous books getting four or five stars.

Cam “Brick” Brickley was a professional NHL player for the Chicago Aces Hockey team. He was
averse to relationships and didn’t believe in love. His teammates bet him that he couldn’t date the same person for two months without falling in love. To him it was an easy bet as long as he could actually stomach dating someone for two months.

Olivia Lockwood was the Director of a non-profit that assisted children with staying active. She had horrible experiences with men where all of her choices to date only wanted her money or the opportunity that she could give them. She was ridiculously affluent and her family still ran the wildly successful Lockwood Industries. She wasn’t looking for a relationship but she was willing to agree to a few dates with Cam Brickley while she was trying to get him to be the face of her non-profit.

Game On was fun with humorous moments, especially as they got to know each other and had unusual circumstances for their first few dates. Although a common theme (and not my favorite theme), Jamieson added her own twists throughout to make it different from the norm. Additionally, Jamieson provided additional depth and dimension through authentic hockey strategies and history as well as a detailed historical and architectural tour of Chicago.

Overall, as expected Jamieson wrote and developed the plot and characters well and she remained as one of my favorite authors. It wasn’t my favorite book in the series and I didn’t connect as well to Olivia; however, Jamieson provided a great ending to the series and wrapped it up well. I can’t wait to see where she’ll take us next.

This is the series finale for our Chicago Aces, and a fantastic finale it was!!! I loved Cam and Olivia. They had great chemistry both in and out of the bedroom. I really enjoyed their banter. They had a rough start, but still found ways to laugh about their misfortune. I liked the easiness between them. Cam was cocky, but love-able... Olivia, even after being hurt, was open and willing to risk her heart. They really seemed to compliment each other. I was glad we were visited by our favorite Aces couples, but I’m sad to see them go. A great ending to a great series! ***ARC provided for an honest review***

5 Star Review of Game On (Aces Hockey #8) by Kelly Jamieson

This is book 8 in the Aces hockey series and can be read as a standalone. Kelly Jamieson has done a great job with this series; this is Cam Brickley and  Olivia Lockwood’s story.

Game On brings the series to a conclusion and I am saddened. This has been a great series and I have enjoyed all the books.

Cam is a confirmed bachelor and when his teammates bet him he can’t date the same woman for 2 months without falling in love, he has no problems accepting the bet; after all he is Cam Brickley.

However the woman in question Olivia, is a woman of money used to men only wanting her for what she can give him. This time she is determined to get something she wants out of a relationship too; Cam would be the perfect spokesman for her Children’s charity.

The chemistry between Cam and Olivia simply smoulders. Will they both realise the potential their relationship has or run before it has a chance?

I really liked Cam and Olivia, they were great characters and I enjoyed their story line. Cam was hard to like initially but he really grew on me. Olivia has been hurt in the past and her fears compound her insecurities. However when they both realise that their feelings have deepened, Cam tells her about the bet.

Game On was a fitting end to a great series.

You can see this and other Reviews I have written along with various cover reveals, excerpts, and giveaways here Nadine's Obsessed with Books

I'm sad, you want to know why I'm sad? It's because this is the last book in the Aces Hockey Series, this is one series that I actually hoped would keep going and going and going. It's rare that you find a series that keeps you coming back for more and wishing it would never end but that is exactly what I had found with the Aces Hockey Series. Not only do we have a great group of men but the women they fall for a phenomenal as well. Each and every book had me hooked from beginning to end.

Game On is Cam's story. Cam and Oliva's story touched me on a personal level because of how they got together, the guys made a bet that Cam couldn't get Olivia to go out with him (part one of the bet) and if he did that he couldn't date her for two months without falling in love (part two of the bet). Well this is somewhat similar to how my husband and I started dating, yes it was a bet very similar to part one of Cam's bet only there was no second part because everyone was shocked that I said yes to the original date they weren't going to push fate any further...smart guys..LOL only Cam's friends weren't as smart....or maybe they were. You see Cam was sort of a Playboy he was the One and Done type of guy, you know what I'm talking about but what no one was expecting was that Olivia was just the person he needed to change his ways.

This was an emotional read at times because both Cam and Olivia have been hurt before and when their stories are told, well lets just say I understood why Cam was the way he was. As for Olivia, she was guarded and had every right to be I'm just glad she gave Cam a real shot.

This is an easy book to recommend for all lovers of contemporary romance that will heat up your eReaders, over 18 please, especially if you enjoy the sports romance genre. Game On can be read as a standalone as can the other books in the series but I guarantee once you read one of the books you'll want to get to know each of these men better, and since this is the last of the series it will contain spoilers for past books so if you think you may want to read more of them I suggest you start at the beginning, you wont be disappointed. Happy Reading!!!

WOW Book Eight Already. Chicago Aces is not just another Hockey Series it’s A Kelly Jamieson Hockey Series and from the very first book you are totally vested in this team.
We get to meet in this final book Cam “Brick”Brickley. He is a Fantastic player for the Aces, A Great Brother & Son But he is also a player when it comes to the ladies and whenever there is a dare he never backs down, so asking a woman out seemed like a easy bet but when it’s Olivia Lockwood the odds are so much different.
Olivia Lockwood is a woman on a mission to prove to her family that she can succeed on her own and not working for her family. With her non-profit organization Move On Chicago her priority is her job and never again a man. But one night can change everything.
From the moment they meet you can’t help laughing out loud as they spend more time together you see how much fun they have with each other but can a stupid bet and some insecurities derail how incredible they can be together.
Even though this is the last book in this series Kelly Jamieson ends it with a high note and you can’t help feel this is a series I’m happy I read from book one right up until book eight.

I just love this series and while I am sad to see it go, this was a great way to end it! Kelly Jamieson put the perfect icing on the delicious cake that has been this series!!
I adored Cam and Olivia and I loved being on their wonderful journey to their HEA. Their first date was absolutely epic! Unfortunately I felt like I was right there with them lol. You really need to read it to truly understand.
I think I laughed and swooned my way through much of this one. Their dates were just awesome! I enjoyed them so much, but probably not as much as they did! What started out as a bet, turned out to be the best thing to ever happen to Cam and Olivia. I really love them together! And I loved the interaction with Cam's teammates, who we all know from previous books, to bring this series to a nice conclusion. You don't want to miss this final Aces book, you really don't!!

Game on is the last book in the Aces Hockey series and my biggest question was whether or not the author would finally allow the team to win the finals or not. Since there is no other book about these guys, I was leaning towards the first option, but you never know. I would have loved to see an extended epilogue with all the couples from the previous books because I will miss them. At least, in my opinion, the author did a great job with their stories and the end of the hockey team. I am hoping for some cameos on her new hockey series.

If I separated the book into two parts, one being the hockey and the other being the romance, I would say that the hockey aspect was much better. Cam and Olivia's relationship was too lukewarm for my liking and I was expecting more from Kelly Jamieson. The spark was there, but the wow factor wasn't there. Something about them didn't work for me and I think it might be Cam's immature-ish behavior. I needed him to man up and not run like his life was depending on it. The running part was something that felt to me like it was just added for the drama and nothing else.

The book overall was good though. The heroine mostly and somewhat less the hero, were likable, we saw the heroes from the previous books, I got some things I wanted in this story and the pace was just as it should have been.

Cam "Brick" Brickley - I didn't know if I was going to love his story. He wasn't my favorite of the group and after reading Nicky and Jodie's story - he was kinda a douchcannoe and just seemed kinda harsh.

But you know what they say... the guys who seemed to be the worst are the hardest fall and you fall for them so fast and they win you over in no time flat. Well Brick became my favorite and I'm so sad to see this series end, yet it ended with a bang and so I was so happy with that.

The boys are known to place bets and with Brick seemly the last man to fall down the rabbit hole of love the guys bet him #1 they can't get a date with the beautiful blonde at the bar and #2 that he can't date her for two months and not fall in love. Brick easily take the bet and approaches with his full on charm.

Olivia has always had low self confidence. But with her new non-profit she's hoping to help other kids who are suffering like she did. So when Cam Brickley approaches her at the bar, her first thought is to turn the guy down. Sure he's cute and all but guys only approach her for one thing... her family's money. Then she gets an idea, maybe she can talk Cam into being a spokesperson for her Non-Profit. So what will one date hurt.

What ensues afterwards is both funny and heartwarming and breathtaking. These two were made for each other. We get to see a side of Cam that we have never seen before and Olivia is just the best. It's rare to find heroines that you really fall in love with too and Olivia is one that you can totally relate too.

Such a great story and a perfect way to end a series that I loved so much. Hockey Romance fans if you haven't read this series add it to your TBRs now! Can't wait to see what's next from Kelly!

Loved!! Cam and Olivia's story was a great way to wrap up this series. While I hate seeing the Aces series end I'm sure Ms. Jamieson has more great hockey reads in store for us.

Cam and his team mates will pretty much bet on anything so when they bet him he can't date the same woman for two months without falling in love he's certain he has this one in the bag. It doesn't take him long after meeting Olivia to realize he might be in trouble. Could she be that one that has him going all in?

Fantastic story and one for the must read list. I highly recommend it.

Game On (Aces Hockey, #8) by Kelly Jamieson

Breaking the rules is his favorite past time. A heartbreaker with a bad boy image and lustful good looks, Cam has never met a challenge he can't conquer. Until Olivia. Olivia wants to matter. Her sole purpose in life is to be more than a dollar sign people hope to acquire. When Cam crosses her path, she hopes he's the one who can see beyond the money into the wounded heart underneath. Could this be real or a fantasy too good to be true? Jamieson can break a heart, tempt a soul and win a smile in one sitting. Game On is the perfect example of why she's a MUST HAVE on my Ereader.

I loved how Cam was just at easy with everything and I loved his attitude, “I’m kidding. I can’t wear skinny jeans. My thighs are like tree trunks. I definitely need relaxed fit.” A sick Cam sure is a charming Cam, “you smell good. And you’re nice and soft . I want to cop a feel of your **ts, but I won’t.” His voice sounded drowsy." Cam sure knows how to ruin a sentiment moment, “I promise to always be on your side.” I nodded, my throat tight. “Or on top of you. Or under you.” I liked this book, I fell in love with Cam.

A good sports star/hockey romance.

I really enjoyed Game On, I was entertained from beginning to the swoon-worthy hea

Cam is known as a playboy, he's never had a long term girlfriend and each one of his teammates have either just entered a relationship or settled down with kids, Cam claims he's happy living the single life until his teammates bet him he would fall in love with a woman if he gave it a chance and let a relationship last 2 month's until the playoffs.

Olivia is in the bar the night Cam takes the bet and with her gorgeous looks, she easily becomes Cam's target.

I really liked Olivia, yes she was a gorgeous looking girl who looked the part of a Wagg but there was a lot more to her, she was goofy and clumsy, kind-hearted, worked for a charity organization that she started, Olivia's character is realistic.
There as no way Cam was not going to fall for this clumsy chick, it was written in the stars and I loved the journey to Cam's fall.

Game On is sizzling hot at times, has humor, great characters and is a must-read for hockey, sports-star romance fans.

Game On is the last book In the series but doesn't contain any spoilers regarding previous books.

My first book by Kelly Jamieson and I would definitely read more.

Told in first person dual pov and leads to and leads to hea.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is the eighth and final book in the series - it has been excellent all the way through, but I may just have found this the most fun, as well as somehow a fitting end for the team as a whole.

Cam is all about fun and he has some good friends in the team. He has no intention of being in a serious relationship and is prepared to wager a year of cleaning his pals undies that he ca date and yet avoid love. Of course, we know Jamieson will lead him to a place where he realises he is mistaken ... and what a fun journey it is. I really think this has some of the funniest lines I have read in a long time. It is all lovely situational banter which just works perfectly.

Olivia, as we learn, may have had plenty of money growing up, but she was treated poorly by her family, always put down. She finds it difficult to believe that Cam is interested in her at all, so when he admits to the bet, she just knows that life is repeating itself again. Thankfully, both of them grow up, take back some control and get the HEA that we all know they deserve.

I have this series on my reread list, as every book was good - but I am also excited to see what treats Jamieson has for us next.

This was a great read! Cam is a professional hockey player for a team that is infamous for bets between their players. Cam winds up taking a bet that he cant date the same woman for two months and not fall in love - then the point out the specific woman, Olivia. Olivia comes from a wealthy family and has had terrible experiences with men in the past always being after her just for her money or to earn a leg up with her parents. When Cam approaches her she's game for a night or two of fun but not looking for a relationship... she is however, looking for someone famous to he the face of her charity company and Cam would be perfect. When the bet beans get spilled Olivia rolls with the punches but knows shes already in too deep.

I love that it's original in that the heroine doesn't have your typical response to whole bet situation. She's actually really cool about it and that's a first for me in this type of storyline - I really appreciated that. I also love how the author meshes just the right amount of hockey, romance and banter into this story to make it fast paced and difficult to put down. Looking forward to more front this series!

This book brought a great close to the series. It showcased the closeness of the teammates and how each of them is seeking more outside of hockey. Now Cam wasn't looking for more, but that is what was so great about this one. You knew the moment that the bet was made that Cam was a goner, but it was still fun watching him go down.

I was really glad that Cam clued Olivia in on the bet soon, it allowed them to just be and not worry about things. When they could do that they were very sweet together. It was only once the bet came back into play that things got messy and at a very bad time for Cam. I loved that Cam's dad gave him a talking to that allowed Cam's eyes to be opened and allowed him the time to fix what he messed up.

The ending was perfect, perfect for the couple and the team!

Game On is the 8th and final book in the Aces Hockey Series. While I was able to read this book as a stand alone I was definitely hooked by these characters and can not wait to go one click books 1-7. As much as I absolutely loved this book, I believe that had I read the other books first I would have loved this one even more.

Right from the very first page I was drawn into the story and could not put it down until I had finished. There were some seriously hilarious moments between Cam and Olivia that had my laughing out loud as well as some serious heartbreaking ones.

This book really does have it all and I couldn't think of a way to make it any better. - By Alisa

This book was pretty meh for me.

I guess the biggest problem for me is that I found the entire premise of the book stupid. (It's hard to come back from that.) To me, the premise was on par with the crappiest 90's high school romcom I was ever forced to watch.

I liked Cam and Oliva ok, but they felt very generic and cookie cutter. Cam was a very stereotypical "f*ckboy" with a moderately painful past (because, they all have a painful past ladies, it's not their fault). Oliva was ok. I liked her fine. I'm sure she'd be a great companion in a carpool.

There was never really a point in the book that I felt Cam and Oliva were meant to be together forever, or that they really improved the other's life in any meaningful way. I wish I would have felt that.

I received an ARC in exchange of my honest review.
