Did she want to even try to learn the truth, the stories he told her she knew he didn’t do it. The community that doesn’t gossip, but we have two sisters who seem to know what everybody is doing. They had been working on it, till he died. Entertaining, interesting of how with technology now, can they figure it out. How it all played out with her fiancé, would she stil be engaged. The secrets that had been keep for years, by so many people, and the thoughts and rumors that had hurt others. I especially love these two sisters,they have a heart of gold,their little disagreements, you love to chuckle over. Samantha’s book always have a message, woven into a story, that will delight readers.
This Ettie mystery was different beginning with you given a name of the murderer. Oh but wait there are surprises abounding right up to the end. Many of the surprises I didn't see thus I was surprised over and over. Samantha Price put a refreshing spin to this Ettie Smith mystery and what is up with the neighbors? Guessing we will find out because I smell a mystery here. I'm recommending you read Plain Secrets it is a great mystery.
Selena has a house in Amish Country bequest to her from her grandfather. She took time off to go visit the place to see if it is marketable,only to find a family with tons of children living there. She decides to go find the groundkeeper and get answers. The answers left her with more questions and a buggy ride to find out some of them. She finds out that her grandfather had come forward and said he had killed a man some 20 odd years before and was in jail for it, but no one believed he did it or why. Read to find the answers for yourself and get the sweetest love story ever
So who killed who? The wrong guy says he did it and dies in jail, so everybody drops it. Until a young lady comes to town to check on a property that is willed to her. But she wants to clear her grandfathers name because nobody thinks he did it. Many twists and turns and we wrap with a dinner party to arrest the subject as many of these mysteries end up.
This was a interesting book and holds your interest to the end. The author really makes you feel like part of the action. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.
I really enjoyed all of the books that went through this sreies. I enjoyed the clean story that came out with it.I highly recommend this book to anyone.
