Kazimir Markovic and Violet Gallucci are worlds apart.
One, Russian—a Bratva heir. The other, Italian—a Cosa Nostra princess.
Life, family, and tradition demand they keep their distance, but lust and love never learned to play by the rules. With fathers like theirs, determined to keep them apart no matter the cost, New York City isn’t ready for the hell they’ll rain down for this.
No one is.
Betrayal—like the seasons—is ever-changing, and always right around the corner. It’s the only thing you can trust.
Treacherous. Alluring. Spectacular.
Can they survive it?
Seasons features the entire Seasons of Betrayal trilogy by authors Bethany-Kris (Cross + Catherine) and London Miller (Den of Mercenaries). It includes three full-length novels (Where the Sun Hides; Where the Snow Falls; Where the Wind Whispers) and an early peek at first chapters from the authors’ upcoming standalone series within The Undergrounds world—Boykov Bratva.
The author of too many novels to count, Bethany-Kris is a Canadian, lover of much, and mother to four sons, a glaring of cats, and a pack of dogs. A small town in Eastern Canada where she was born and raised is where she has always called home. With her boys under her feet, a snuggling cat, barking dogs, and a spouse calling over his shoulder, she is nearly always writing something ... when she can find the time.

This is the complete series that was on sale on Amazon. I'll do a review for each book.
Where the Sun Hides Rate: 3.5 stars ✨
Star-crossed lovers all the way! I was super excited for this book and it was actually pretty good because Bethany Kris knows how to catch you.
The pace was fast and I would dare to say that it was insta-love. Yes, the attraction was instant, that didn’t bother me, but I was expecting more push and pull games. They were together rather fast and I couldn't enjoy the tension that I was looking.
Violet Gallucci was a strong heroine but a biiit annoying. I know, I always have it weak for fierce heroines but this one was meh. I think she was kinda immature and sadly couldn’t connect with her character. So, I don't really have much to say about her.
As for Kazimir Markovic, I wasn't expecting a gentleman LOL. At first, I got the I'll crush you vibe after a certain incident that happened but honestly, he was actually a good Hero and treasured Violet forever after they were together. I really liked his character but still, I was expecting a little bit more push and pull.
I liked the book but can’t say I love it - I wished we had more tension between the characters. Anyway, I will continue with the series since this one ended up with a huge cliffhanger.
Where the Snow Falls Rate: 4 stars!✨✨
The second book of the series and I am so excited to read more! I liked the book better than the first one because of the new characters and better grab of the story!
The main couple still is Violet and Kaz but the crumbs we got from the other couples and maybe future ones got me 🤲🏻🤲🏻
After the huge cliffhanger from - Where the Sun Hides - Violet and Kaz are coming stronger and getting all help they could get. I liked that we got a different scenario like Chicago because now I’m so freaking excited to read their stories.
There were times I got a little bored with the story but I still catch up!
I can’t wait to read book 3, because this one also ends in a huge cliffhanger!
Where the Wind Whispers Rate: 3.5 stars
Not much to say, I think the story was dragged a little too much and I lost interest in the main couple and now I want to read Vera and Alfie's story!
At the end of the day it's a forbidden mafia romance. One side the Italians bring to the table Violet Gallaci, while the other brings the Russian Kazimir. Both have toxic families, penchants for breaking rules, mutual pining. The first two books end in level 4 (out of five) cliffhangers, while the last has a mini epilogue.
If you like BK or London Miller and like the star-crossed lovers, or forbidden love tropes. Go ahead and get it while it's still on KU.
What a rollercoaster. Another book that I simply could not put down. Impatient for the next new series.
Phew, what else can I say. Well, fantastic characters and great storyline. However, I would like to have read a little more about Ruslan and his private life and about Vera and Alfie. Maybe this may happen in future books.
If I had the option, I would give this book a 10 star rating. I couldn't put it down, and I love that the author is not afraid of using brutality, on men and women.
And I do mean real, nasty brutality here.
You've got bombings, shootings, liars, and 2 families he'll bent on killing each other. A modern day Hatfield and McCoy, only brutal, and bloodied.
The only question I'm left with is what kind of chaos does a half Russian, half Italian daughter and son create? I'm almost afraid to think these two will tear NY down.
Holy hell! What an amazing series from these two. If you are looking for a mafia themed romance then you’ve found it. The love and passion between Kaz and Violet is like nothing else I’ve read. He’s a complete alpha asshole who would move heaven and earth for his love. She is the light to his darkness. Their love is forbidden. Can Romeo really have Juliet? Will the whole world around them burn down so they can have each other?
Do yourself a favor and read the whole series together. You won’t regret one moment of it!
What a beautiful twisted world these 2 have created! Violet and kaz have an incredible love story and if you’re a fan of mafia/bratva books you’ll love this series as it a mix between the Italians and Russians. Best of both worlds! Loved every minute of these books. Page turner and nearly had me at the edge of my seat. Looking forward to the spin off books to these series from each author as they take their own path.
Her book has never dissapoint!! I loved every detail and how i thought the problem would be solve asap but theres always something that happens and cause a problem.
Violet is lucky to have Kaz and Kaz to have Violet. They compliment each other well. I would love to see the end of Nicole tbh because she’s such a bitch.
And Violet is such a strong girl, at the age of 21, she had to go through sooo much!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I was on my toes with this book because everything gets more complicated when you deal with the Bratva and Cosa Nostra at the same time.
As always I love Bethany-Kris' books since The Arrangement. But it never crossed my mind that she and London Miller (another fave) will try to get things more exciting!
5-stars for storyline, characters, plot, STEAM, emotions. I read this series when it first released and have been haunted by its storyline ever since. It's one I always have to go back and reread time and again. Violet and Kaz are incredible characters, whose forbidden love story was meant to be appreciated by the masses. Buy this, you won't regret it.
I read this great series when it first came out in three separate books and wow what a great read. You will absolutely LOVE Kaz and Violet. Dive into the wonderful world of the Bratva and Cosa Nostra that only Bethany Kris and London Miller can provide 💕
I am so stoked to read the new Seasons of Betrayal Collection! Violet and Kaz are the ultimate organized crime versions of Romeo and Juliet! Their love story has definitely defied all odds just for them to be together. Get ready to be so in love with this book 😍
As always a great world was created with characters you love. It was an actual story with heated passion. Bratva has stromg men but equally strong women. Authors did a great job in growing the women to their own
Absolutely loved this series!! Did note that at the end of them there was a chapter of Shameless Nights. Konstantin and Amelia. I have looked everywhere for the book. Where can i get it from??? Book or kindle edition.
It was a good read overall. A mafia, forbidden romance involving Violet, daughter to the Italian mafia's don and Kazimir, son to the Russian mafia's pakhan. Totally a steamy read, loved the interactions and love between Violet and Kaz. I'd definitely reread!
This author never lets me down. I loved this book. Definitely a Romeo and Juliette story. I love the way her main characters are so devoted to each other. Bethany-Kris is one of my very favorite authors and made me a fan of mafia romance. Within this story was another couple and the man was so obsessed with his wife, I knew I had to read their story. And that is what I’m doing now, reading Kolya and Maya’s story.
Just didn't feel the connection between Kaz and Violet. Seemed rushed somehow. The sex scenes were gratuitous. Bethany should've concentrated on the storyline more.
2/13/22 Finally getting my reading groove back and it's all thanks to BK! Kaz and Violet are still a favorite of mine and I love their love story... --- One of my FAVORITE couples! Love Kaz & Violet and I DEFINITELY cannot wait for the Boykov brothers book. BK and London Miller are one of my favorite writing duos! <3
I can't even function after 24hrs of reading non stop I don't even know how I'm writing this since I can't really see anymore but let me tell you something I do not regret doing this because It was AWESOME!!! I love mafia romances and Kas & Violet story was amazing, it got me from the get go cause it has all the emotion you get to laugh, cry, get hot, angry, happy and everything in between. Two thumbs up five stars recommended. I have to sleep now but go read it!!!
