USA Today best selling and award winning author, S.L. Morgan was born and raised in California. After 29 years of living in the Sierra Nevada Mountains there, she and her husband began their journeys of moving throughout the United States. In the summer of 2014, S.L. Morgan and her family returned to her hometown of Oakhurst, California.
In October of 2011, S.L. Morgan became inspired to write her new novel series, “Ancient Guardians.” With her passion and love for Jane Austen and other classic romance novels, she was motivated to write a novel series of her own. The Legacy of the Key is the first book in her novel series, taking readers not only into a new magical dimension—but giving them a feeling that they have been transported back in time—into England’s 18th century.
Morgan refers to herself more as a storyteller instead of an 'author.' She enjoys creating worlds that readers can escape into, and characters they can call friends.
She is truly grateful everyday for having the courage to share her stories with readers from around the world.
With her series, Ancient Guardians complete, Morgan is embarking on a new adventure and looks forward to releasing a new series soon.

I hate giving this book only 3 stars...

I was immediately drawn into Reece's original story, to the character development and scenery in Pemdas. I've enjoyed the progression of the following stories. I have had some great moments being wisked away in S.L. Morgan's books. Up until this book. I feel like this one has been rushed into a lack of that original greatness. There is still an intriguing story here, but the characters are less developed than previous books, and certain events felt rushed. Sadly, this book did not hold my attention as well as this author's previous works. And I'm not sure why there was so much winking... I'm sorry, it's just one of those things that seems out of place- no one winks as much as the characters did in this book. I will continue reading the next books, I'm just hoping they get back to the in depth descriptions and details of the others.

So I finally sat down and read this and I was not disappointed. I'm loving these characters of Alex and Kira so much, their interactions together along with Levi and the others is wonderful. Stefan is an enjoyable villain, as he makes my skin crawl and want to see him defeated quicker than you can say the letter a. Naturally I am most concerned over Reece, and Levi by connection, as I developed a love of them from the Ancient Guardians, but I know they're in safe hands with the author, I hope. Harrison is and always will be my favorite, but Alex and Levi are having fun fighting for second on the boys side.

The reader doesn't necessarily need to read the previous series, Ancient Guardians, but to be honest I would HIGHLY recommend reading it for some continuity and honestly it would make a lot more sense.

Marked begins where cursed finish. Kira begins to get used to the life at the Palace. Her relationship with Alec's family begins to build and with Alec grows stronger but one day we going to find out what will happen to Kira and Alec thanks to Stefon. You will have to read the book to know what it is. The adventures that takes place at the land of Fae keeps you up all night to find out what happen. Here we also, see some of my favorites characters from the previous books. Romance and adventures is in every turn of the page, you will enjoy this book as much as I did.
I receive an ARC copy for my honest review. S.L. Morgan is one of my favorite author since I got my hands on her first book The Legacy of the Key, since then I read any book from her and Highly recommended. Enjoy!

Good read

Kira and Alexander are certainly going through some weird experiences. Him being a wolf, her a dragon and changing back to a human at opposite times. I liked reading about the Phoenix and learning as t Kira's mother was a Phoenix. Looking forward to the next chapter of their lives.

Short and sweet

Ms. Morgan asked for an honest and short review - here goes! Wonderfully crafted story, well developed characters, interesting plot, suffering an unwelcome cliffhanger - please release Dragon's Fire NOW!!!! (Patience is not one of my virtues.)
