Silent Love: Part 3

Rate this book
If someone had asked me a few weeks ago if there was any chance I’d fall out of love with Ethan Galloway, my answer would have been “hell no.” But guess what…I have.

Somehow, while pretending to be Gage’s girlfriend, something changed between us. My feelings changed. It’s not only a game or an act only to make Ethan jealous. It’s so much more.

When I look at Gage, I no longer see the arrogant bad boy I met a few weeks ago. I see someone different. Someone kind and loving. A guy who I might actually have fallen in love with.

Now I need to convince Gage that this is no longer a game of pretend for me. This is real.

This is Silent Love: Part 3, and since it's a continuation of Carter's story, you MUST READ Part 1 & 2 FIRST to understand the journey. Okay, I'm getting off of my soapbox now. In Part 3, Carter has start fake dating Gage, the school's resident "bad boy manwhore" so she can make Ethan jealous, but somewhere along the way, she's developed feelings for Gage. But will Gage reciprocate those feelings? This a sweet story as Carter is kind of naive, but a good girl, which does come off refreshing in the Pretty Little Liars day & age. However, that does also tend to make it lag a bit for someone of my age bracket though, (please remember this is only my opinion), but I could definitely see the talent of Kenadee Bryant through the Forbidden Series. Which leads to me to mentioning, how much I loved the cast of secondaries, especially Carter's parents, as I envision myself being like them, because I have a college age girl her age, so I fell hard for them, not to mention laughed at her father's antics a lot. I also loved the whole waiting until ready premise, which isn't always there these days either, so there's a ton to love, ton to keep me hooked, and I'm excited to see what the next part brings! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This final books wraps everything up. However it isn't easy. There are feelings growing and coming out that both haven't felt. There are other people who make the relationship difficult. They are trying to find a happy medium but with Gage not really being boyfriend material can they? Will Carter's past obsession ruin with Ethan ruin it all? I was kept pulled in by these questions. I couldn't wait to see if these were meant to be or friendship was all they were going to get.

this book was extremely comforting and i throughly enjoyed carter’s and gage’s relationship, prior to reading the book i had not read the other two in the series and i didn’t feel the need to because it’s focused on their relationship and not her parent’s. i will admit in the beginning carter’s personality and “quirkiness” irked me to not end but eventually i got used to it, that’s what brought this book down to 3 stars instead of 4.

And the drama continues. This story mainly focuses on Carter and Gage. They both realize that their feeling have changed and they really care for one another, enough to make it real. Then life goes on and it’s sweet until jealously and the past want to screw it up a bit.

👏👏👏👏

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been a very rare occurrence that I could just pick up a book and read it in one day; but, I was captivated by these characters and their amazing love story instantaneously.

Real love is finally here...

Gage and Carter were meant to be. Carters crush on Ethan wasn't real it was just a school girl crush. Real love came named Gage and wiped all the fake away... really good love story! ❤
