Winter has inadvertently overheard a conversation between her step-brothers about the plans they and their father had for her once her step-father was released from jail. The thought alone was terrifying and she ran only to be caught AGAIN by Caden. Even though the fear of what they had planned was horrifying, she was more afraid of Caden's reaction if he ever found out. The storyline continues to build upon itself, revealing small pieces of information concerning Canden's incarceration, Willow's self discovery and Caden's reaction to anything to do with Willow. I'm completely blown away by the intensity of emotion each of the characters show and Laura Avery's delivery of events.
Things between Caden and Winter are heating up and things are about to get dangerous. Winter doesn't understand why she loves all the wicked, nasty, humiliating things that Caden does to her, but she can't help what her body craves. Things are going to get worse before they get better and Winter's family is out for blood, but just who's blood do they want? Grab this third book in the series to find out what will happen next. I'm dying for the next book. I need it now!!!!
Laura cannot bring Tremble and Quiver out fast enough! I HAVE to read them as soon as they appear, and the ONLY reason I have given 4 Stars is only because they are too short! I need more! 😁 can’t wait for the next one in both series! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Finally he knows about the bruises. I was seriously starting getting annoyed with Winter for not telling him the truth. At least that way she gets free from one of the two evils!
