Enyo is the perfect compliment to Demoleon. She’s sassy and a spit fire. I love how these two came together, their relationship is very passionate!
Enyo and Demoleon can accomplish anything together with a little bit of faith.
It was a very quick adventure for me, but I didn’t feel as though I was missing anything. Their relationship progressed naturally as did the story.
I highly recommend this book, series and author!

Are you quite finished leering at me? 5 BONDING MARKS
Who was this male? There was no denying he was a fearsome and magnificent creature. Demoleon growled low in his throat. This beauteous female was lovely beyond his wildest imaginings. Fine. There was more than one way to free a sword. Sweet Zeus that is one burning hot story!! wink I smiled, giggled, laughed, worried, gasped, even cried a bit too! But my favorite part is also a rare thing - I connected with Demoleon immediately and lived, experienced everything with, through and as him! Don't get me wrong, I love Enyo too, felt her pain, her longing, but because of what she is and something else that I can't share, I found myself thinking, wondering, hoping that she would be able to change, move forward, etc. just like Demoleon was! But to be fair, Big D has intrigued me from the very first time I heard his name and his powers/abilities! Come on! A Commander of Fire? A Centaur? AND a Dragon Shifter? And all full of muscles and heart? How can you NOT love him!?! Rachael is one phenomenally talented author who caught my attention when she was gearing up to release her debut book and she has held it firmly in her grasp with every single book since! Her love of WRITING mythology is equal to my love of READING mythology, but Holy Hades! The hot, spectacular & unique spin she adds to them is unequalled and what makes me so addicted that I devour them as soon as I can get my hot little hands on them!!! No matter the story, no matter the characters, whether it's a shorter story of a full-length novel, regardless if it's the first book in a new spin-off series or the fifth in the initial series, I have fallen in love with each & every one of them, rereading them whenever I get the chance so I can visit this mythically fantastic World, visit my friends and fall further in love with them!

Harpies have been getting a bad press in mythology!
Demoleon, controller of fire, Lord of Krete and brother of our previous heroes in this series, is after a particular blade, which when in the right hands may be able to save his Centaur race.
Enyo is a harpy with telepathic powers but they are very limited. Her sister Harpies have been suspended in amber and she has spent the last century attempting to gain their freedom.
But when Demolean and Enyo go after the same artefact, Demoleon realises that not only are they on the same hunt, they are also mates. But can this intrepid duo work together for a common goal or will their individual tasks tear them apart?
A superb smorgasbord of history and mythology! I'm loving these Centaur shifters, so novel amongst the werewolves, dragons and bears we usually see in PNR books. Snappy dialogue and a great paced story.

Demoleon, Lord of Krete and Commander of Fire is after a famed blade to save the centaurs. Enyo is a harpie, who can hear her sisters, but they are captured in amber until she fulfills an obligation; a weight she has carried alone for a century. Rather than being enemies, Demolean realizes they are mates! Thus begins a delightfully intricate and romantic journey of these two who seem to have differing goals – can they work together to save both their peoples?
A terrific addition to this series. I love these centaurs and the various creatures that live in their world and are mates to this proud race.

Enyo is guardian of a magical sword that can kill a Minotaur. Well, not quite the guardian but aims to wield it. She just hasn’t been able to pluck the sword from its stone sheath. Demoleon also seeks the sword. He wishes to use it in the upcoming war. Will he survive Enyo’s cave and protective possession of the sword? Can he claim the ultimate weapon against his foe...his mate? This is a passionate tale where the Fates once again step in and intertwine the lives of an unlikely pair. It takes you on a wonderful journey full of passion and woe. A truly amazing story and although part of a series it is very satisfying on its own.

Fire's Mark (Lords of Krete, #4) by Rachael Slate is a very good read and a welcome addition to this series. A complex story of fated mates, fighting their attraction because they are enemies. Enyo and Demoleon are torn between duty to their people and a burning fated desire for each other. Can they find a way to work together, aid their people and calm the flames of war? Or will these fated mates be kept apart forever? Grab a copy of Fire's Mark to find out. I highly recommend this book and this fun, sexy shifter series. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

With Enyo’s family trapped, this poor harpy remains in servitude to a Minotaur. Along comes her sworn enemy, a centaur named Demoleon, but both of them can’t bring themselves to truly harm each other. The mystery surrounding their shared history slowly unfolds filled with more turmoil and heart break. The metamorphosis of their relationship is truly epic and worth every page turning moment. A beautiful addition to this series!

Another winner for this series! I have read every book in the series and they just keep getting better and better. The Lords of Krete is an amazing series by an amazing author. With characters you can love and a storyline that pulls you in, you can't go wrong. Don't miss out on the fourth installment. I will be awaiting the final book in this series. Rachael Slate has won my heart with these books!!

Fourth book in the Lords of Krete series and I do not know which one of these books have been my favorite. I recommend this series. This is harpy Enyo and Dragon shifter Lord Demoleon of Krete they both want the mythical sword of Aegeus . Will they get a happy ending or will their dislike of each other win out?
