This book is the first to give a detailed and comprehensive account of all the children of Richard III, covering his only legitimate child, Edward of Middleham, Prince of Wales, his illegitimate children John of Gloucester, and Katherine, who became countess of Huntingdon, and to other possible children, particularly Richard Plantagenet of Eastwell. Much information has been gathered from all known sources and there are discussions of the disputed date of birth and death at the age of about eight years of Edward of Middleham.
A useful little book and the only one I can think of which addresses and assesses all possible children of Richard III, including the ones that it turns out likely didn't exist. This is short enough that you could read it on a train journey or beach, if you're not the biggest fan of fiction. I suspect possibly principally of interest to Ricardians and those with a deep interest in late Plantagenet history; otherwise I think maybe it's a little expensive for just general interest.
Despite being reasonably well written there was simply not enough material to warrant a book to be written. This covered both Richard’s legitimate child, acknowledged illegitimate children and some suspected illegitimate children. Altogether this material could be easily covered in a chapter within a biography of Richard rather than a stand alone book.
