My palm burned as I imagined taking her over my knee, that short little dress pushed up, the place between her legs pulsing.
The feeling of desire I had looking at her was like an electric shock to my soul.
My instincts said to leave her alone, that this would end in nothing but tragedy. My instincts had always served me well in the past.

Landon took Aven to Connecticut to find her sister Violet. After Violet and Connor disappeared and their are no traces on them Landon and Aven stayed. Aven continued to defy Landon so he took her to his BDSM room and took what Aven was eager to give Landon. Landon told Aven he was falling for her but immediately he pulled back and put his wall up. After the most specular night they had Aven decided to tell Landon her secret. As they continue to become closer Aven believes she finally breaking through Landon's walls until its time to go back to reality and NYC. Landon distanced himself from Aven on the drive back to NYC and Aven rebels by going out partying with her roommate every night trying to forget Landon, until one night an unexpected visitor show up on er doorstep and passes out.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The continuing saga of Landon and Aven, Aven's sister Violet, Landon's brother Connor and Aven's best friend and roommate Emma. Last time Landon and Aven went to Vermont to go after Connor and Violet. But they took off leaving Landon and Aven alone. Aven shared with Landon a deep dark secret she never told anyone. Landon helped her deal with it. Then Landon shared what it was like growing up. Way different than Aven. That afternoon Landon was out on the balcony talking with someone and Aven listened in. It was his father who told him to get to Connor and take care of it. (whatever that meant). Aven had Landon drive her back to New York. All he said was that he would call her. Three days later no word from him. But suddenly Violet appeared and not in good shape. This story was a quick read and it seemed to me shorter than the other installments. However it was interesting and kept me reading page after page. A very good read.

This series of books gets better and better. Hannah certainly knows how to not only bring to life the complicated relationship between Aven and Landon but also ramp up the intensity of the underlying why’s and wherefores of Violet’s actions. I cannot wait for the next book. I understand Hannah’s desire to draw out the excitement, wanting us to become addicted to her story but I wish that all these mini episodes were contained in one book. The story so far is probably the length of one novella maybe even a novelette. I believe most of the readers would prefer the ongoing story and conclusion be completed in one last book. Tbh I find all these mini books very frustrating. I think it would have been a more enjoyable read to have been written as one book.

This series is interesting and on the same lines of Fifty Shades with a control billionaire and that would be Landon. Aven had fallen in love with him regardless how messed up he is emotionally with her letting Violet make her own decisions. Unfortunately by the end of the book she ends up at Emma and Aven's apartment beaten up and now we need the next book to find out what happened to her.

“Sheer Control” by Hannah Ford is the sixth installment in the series and continues right where the story leaves off. It’s a quick, spicy read that keeps the tension high, but once again it’s the ending that really hooks you. Each installment feels designed to pull you straight into the next one, and this book is no exception—just when things get good, it leaves you wanting more.

Wow wow wow!

Wow this story is incredible. Each book leaves me drooling for more.
As the truths are starting to come out, so are a lot of raw emotions. Both of the good and bad variety. Love the mystery of not fully knowing what is going on and it slowly being uncovered. I am so hooked on this series and will be waiting too find out what happens next.
