Skimmed through this in an evening but will definitely go back to it multiple times now as a reference. It is not a book to read cover to cover as it covers many different issues from general problems in communication and negotiation to specific cultural and sexual issues and the last chapter is entirely dedicated to finding a relationship if your not in one. Therefore I think that almost anyone, in any relationship or none at all may benefit from this, and that it will help in family and friendship problems also.

Personally I found some of the suggestions perhaps a little to formal to successfully apply to my own life- but I still need to discuss and experiment with my partner on those. The advice on communication and negotiation however are invaluable and applicable to every instance you interact with another human being.
