Why oh why have I not read anything by this author before. This was a brilliant read and I need part two now.
This story starts off slow to get to the crime aspect. However from the start I was gripped.
Piper and Tommy meet while shooting a movie.
Piper is a fab character. She’s strong but when with Tommy she’s not as strong. This doesn’t take away from her character, just shows she’s normal, real.
Tommy is a complex character. He’s so messed up that I wanted to know more of what was going through his mind.
Can’t really go into the story without spoiling it. I will say if you like the dark, stalkerish complex character then Tommy is the guy and this is the story for you.
As this is part one I cannot wait to read more of this story.

I have read a couple of the author's short stories previously, but this is my first full length novel by her. I wasn't prepared for just how dark & gritty it was going to be though!
This is the story of actors Piper & Tommy who are working together on a big movie. It started off seemingly normal, two co-stars having a bit of chemistry and a bit of a fling...slowly turning into something really not normal and quite disturbing.
Though Tommy is a bit - okay, a lot - depraved and twisted, I found myself drawn to him; he was really intriguing and I found myself constantly wanting more. Piper seemed like the kind of girl who could hold her own, but Tommy really gets to her and in her mind, a brainwashing of sorts. I did find myself shouting at her quite a bit!
The storyline itself flowed well, still concentrating on their professional as well as private lives - really giving an insight into Tommy's multiple personalities. Laura's writing had me gripped.
The story is one of the darkest I've read in a long time; one of a stalkerish, abusive, murderous kind that I gasped at, a lot! Certainly not for the faint hearted. I'm going to dive into part two now!

I was given an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review. I have given it 4 stars.
Tommy's Girl was not what I was expecting at all. I was promised a serial killer but this story starts out fairly normal and for 80-ish% of the book, I actually thought I had been given the wrong book. There are early indications from Tommy that all might not be right with him, that years of playing other characters as Hollywood's bad boy have started to take their toll on his sanity but I did not for see what was to come. However the story quickly escalates into something more sinister and Laura gives us exactly what we wanted - a dark and twisted story that borders on insanity and I found myself absolutely gripped!
I am so glad I had part two to dive into straight away, I couldn't put them down.

I tried to like this I really did but I’m not a huge dark romance/ physiological thriller girlie so it just wasn’t for me, and I am gutted that I didn’t get on with it because I so wanted to.
But with saying this it may be a book I come back to in future and also whats not my cup of tea could be right up someone else’s street.
I can see why people like the book.

Purchased this book from the author at a book signing and so glad I did. I had my warning that Tommy was a bad man and he didn't disappoint. Piper gets sucked into his world and like her we are not sure who he really is. Is he who she thinks..... Is he just acting out a role.......... I will leave you to discover more yourselves but he gets worse and I suspect there is even worse to come in book 2 but I can't wait to read it. Fascinating gripping story. As long as you are OK with dark and twisted male leads then you should definitely buy this book. Laura Morgan has created a complex intriguing character and poor piper has no idea just who she is dealing with.

I absolutely loved this dark dark novel by Laura Morgan. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started it, as Laura Morgan has a habit of keeping you on your toes so you never quite know what to expect!
This is Piper and Tommy’s twisted story and boy are you in for a treat! At first i kinda liked Tommy and loved the whole bad boy persona but things suddenly take a very dark turn and then I actually realised what a complete and utter nut job he really is!
I am so glad I can delve straight into book 2 and I have no doubt it will be even more twisted then this one.... bring it on :)

This book was not what I was expecting at all. Although slow to start off with, we are taken on an incredible and all consuming journey as we get to know Tommy, Piper and the relationship they develop.
This is an intriguing story. One that has left me with questions, but eager for the next book. I find myself wanting more of Tommy. To truly uncover who he really is...if we ever do. He is definitely a unique character. One that I wouldn’t want to go on the wrong side of.
It’s definitely a book I’d recommend, especially if you’re looking for something a little different.

Tommy's girl is a fantastic story. It starts out fairly normal and soon escalates into something dark and shocking and not quite as normal!! I honestly believe Tommy has some sort of multiple personality disorder because he is one messed up guy!! I couldn't put it down and I was thankful I had part two to dive straight into!

As a fan of laura I have read all of her work and again I wasn't disappointed with Tommy 's girl part one , in Laura's usual style you should never trust what maybe coming in the next chapter, there are always surprises not always good one 😈😇😢 .Really looking forward to part 2

An absolutely incredible start to a series. The main character is so beyond tense that he is almost frightening but at the same time draws you in so much that you care about him. This is unlike anything the author has written before but in a good way. The descriptiveness for the world-building is simply stunning and you are immediately drawn into the character's stories. Exceptional work

I have loved everything I have read by Laura Morgan and this one is no exception.
It was totally different to anything else before, but probably my favourite so far
Dark twisted stalkers are my thing and Tommy sure took it to the max.
A must read for anyone who likes dark stories diving straight in to part 2

What a fantastic start to a series. This author has written a book that will seriously test your boundaries. It's full of dark and twisted scenes and has a main character that you'll live to hate. This book beautifully written and will have you hooked from page one.
I cannot wait for book two.

This book had me gripped from the start. Fantastically written and the characters......well I fell in love with them. Piper is so loveable and Tommy, well I’m not going to lie I was a little scared of Him. Would definitely recommend this book.

Wow what a start of a series this is!
This story is not for someone wanting sunshine and rainbows its def one for the dark and twisted lovers out there! And although theres alot of darker books out there this story line is something unique.
I really dont want to say much that could give away any spoilers...but i can say you will love how this story goes!
Piper and Tommy meet when they are cast to work in the same movie together... they dont really get to know each other properly until after filming has finished but really how much do they find out about the real person they actaully are??
Looking forward to book 2 to see where this story will take us!!
