What a great, and satisfying, ending to such an entertaining series!

When Azure and her friends first set out on their adventures, little did they know what was in store for them.

There were laughs in plenty but, also, many times full of danger, and possible death.

Azure, throughout the whole series, was constantly challenged - not only to do the best that she could for all the many and varied people that she came in contact with, but to also be the one to sacrifice - whether that was of her time, energy, her magic, or even her very life - in order to make things right for so many who suffered.

Azure is one of those very rare people - the pure of heart - who see what needs to be done, and then does it willingly. Maybe not without some anxiety, or even regret for what might be lost because, after all, despite the magic that gives her an extended lifetime, she is, after all, only human!

But Azure, throughout this series, gives of herself with the spirit of cooperation that trusts in the process, whether of magic, or love, to make things turn out well.

In this last book, so much was asked of her and yet, despite the thought of having to sacrifice both her new-found love, her Queenship of Virgo, and her total way of life, she immediately accepts the burden of stewardship thrust upon her, not knowing how much of her very essence she'll have to surrender.

But Azure does everything that's needed, in order to protect those she loves, and Virgo, and the whole of Oriceran, because that's the kind of person she is!

I fell in love with Azure and her friends very quickly in this series, and, just like her progenitors, Sarah Noffke, plus Martha Carr to a lesser degree, I felt a real pang of loss as I read the final sentence in this book.

I realised, as I did so, that I wouldn't delight in her antics any more, unless I re-read the whole series again.

I hope I get the chance to, as I discovered over the years, that any re-reads I do, brings far more details to light, than that initial first read!

Well, now that this series is finished, I looked at my Oriceran reading list for the next book to read, and the next series is called: The Kacy Chronicles, with book one being: 'Descendent'.

So I'm going straight off to start reading this and, once I've finished this first book, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think about it!

Virgo was an excellent ending to a really entertaining series.

Plot:
In Lancothy, Azure and her friends did their best to protect the wereanimals from attack while trying to avoid being turned into vampires themselves. In Virgo, Azure tries to help the wereanimals find new homes, free Bob, fend off another vampire attack, and put an end to vampirism once and for all.

Characters:
Azure and Ever were awesome as usual, and I really loved how the relationship between Gran and Reynolds developed, but once again, Monet was the standout! He really came into his own in this book. Don’t worry though, he was still full of alcohol and sarcasm! Blisters comes in a close second though because he makes a huge sacrifice….

Writing:
Noffke is extremely creative, and like the other Soul Stone Mage books, Virgo is a perfect example of that. She finds a way to include many different characters, but they are all very memorable, as each plays a crucial role in the plot. If the book were a movie, I’d probably rate the book a PG13 in movie terms. There’s very little violence or adult situations, but there is a lot of drinking and cursing. (Noffke warns about it in the book description.) If you don't like the F word, you might struggle with the series, but if you're okay with it, you'll have lots of fun.

The Bottom Line:
I loved the way that Virgo tied up all the loose ends and left no questions remaining. A lot of times, a series’ ending seems forced, but everything fell into place very nicely in this book. Can’t wait to see what Noffke has in store next. Whatever it is, I know it will definitely be worth the read!

*I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review!*

The end is always bittersweet. This is no exception.
I feel both elated and sad. I feel like I gained so many friends and now I have to say goodbye to them.
What a wonderful world this is. What Ms. Noffke did with Oriceran is above an beyond my highest expectations. She has created an alternate universe full of magic, love, adventure, bravery, kindness and obstacles to be conquered.
I would highly recommend this book to all ages, especially young minds. They need to read something as pure as this. Kids and teens will have a blast alongside Azure, Monet, Ever, Blisters, Manx and all other characters.
There were so many beautiful moments in this book, and throughout the series that you really need to read.
Also, I can't forget about Gran. She is at the same time so unlike a grandma and a veritable grandma. Yes she is a conundrum, but you can't help loving her. And dear Reynolds has his hands full with all her demands.
All loose ends were sealed. This was actually a perfect ending to the series. I am more than happy with how it turned out because I had some apprehensions before diving in it and now everything is right with the world.

It was pure bliss to walk the trails of Oriceran with these amazing characters, and I leave them with a heart full of happiness and good thoughts. Because this is what this series makes you feel.

5 Magic Thrives In Places Full Of Love Stars

Virgo is the seventh book in the Soul Stone Mage series by Sarah Noffke, Martha Carr, and Michael Anderle.

And everything works out with a lot of pizzazz. While I'm super sad to not know about their futures; like the children Ever and Azure will have, or if he is crowned King to rule beside her. I am entirely satisfied with how well the author concluded this series. Sarah Noffke did the Oriceran Universe a wonderful service, by adding her creative mark upon this magical world.

I so enjoyed that the majority of this series focused on kindness and supporting one another, even through the toughest of circumstances. At every turn these characters went out of their way to empower those around them, and create beautiful ties of friendship. Creating this age of prosperity, change, and evolution for all.

Finding out Monet's secret parentage was entirely a surprise. He's had the personality of royalty down pat since the beginning. That he makes such a decision at the end of the book to find his true happiness only warmed my heart. I wonder if he would end up with Trixie?

Mage Lenore's passing, and Azure taking on the mantel of the protector of the last surviving Howling Willow, wasn't as orchestrated as I had hoped. But it had a certain purity, and beauty to the moment. Much like Cleo's final words.

I can only hope to meet these characters again in other series withing the Oriceran Universe, for some future insight.

Loved this finale.

This book had so much happen in it. I have no idea where to start? Hmmm. Maybe we should begin with the vampires? If you've been reading this series you know the vampires had attacked Virgo and made follower vampires out of some of Queen Azure's people. I started feeling bad for the blood suckers at this point. Knowing Azure and her crew, I knew the vampires had just started their ending. *insert wicked laugh* Azure and her crew had a lot of surprise finishes. I'm hoping this isn't the last time we see or hear from all of the crew, Azure too.

This book definitely gave me a book hangover. I'm missing this special crew and want to know so much more. I need to know Azure and Ever's future!! Will Reynolds and Sari enter a relationship or will they continue the flirt that happens now? Then there's Monet, will he ever find someone to love? How about Blisters?? Will he move up with the Unicorns?

I love this series. Azure is so wonderful and makes sure that everyone is safe and doesn’t seem to dislike anyone. I am really glad that she and Evers have figured out their feelings. I hope that Blisters will not change too much now that he has faced his fears and grown up, he makes such a sacrifice to save the people of Virgo, he really is one of my favourites. I like that Azure’s last wish is granted even after she has freed Bob and that it is for Monet. Monet was born to rule, he always knew it so it is good that he gets to be king, and finds out about his true identity. I am sorry this is the end of the series it has been a great read.

A surprise

I must say that I have been thoroughly and utterly enjoying the world of Oriceran. I love the characters the story has kept me glued to it, and I so didn't want it to end. I read all seven books and gave each one five stars. This is a series that will pull you in, and have fun and intrigue with the group. Of course the language is colorful to say the least, but if I dealt daily with a life like there's I would probably be cussing a blue streak right along with them. If you have a problem with foul language pick another series. This was a fun read.

Excellent addition to the Oriceran universe!

I am really enjoying reading through the Oriceran universe series' and get excited when I get to start as new one. I enjoyed the Soul Stone Mage series greatly. Excellent characters, cool use of the magic of Oriceran, plenty of suspense, and a "just right" HEA. (for that point in time, of course. Who knows if there may be more to come? I, for one, hope there will be.) Sarah Knoffke is an excellent author, and I can't wait to read more of those series someday as well. As for this series and book, I highly recommend them!

Great read

It's always kind of sad when you get to the end of a series, but especially one as awesome as the Soul Stone Mage series. The characters are so well developed they feel like people you know and want to continue to know more. I'm sure it's always a challenge to bring a series to a conclusion that satisfies the reader, but Sarah Noffke has proven she knows the right formula. I'm looking forward to reading her next great series written in this universe.

I absolutely loved this series and hated it to end. It had great characters and I do mean characters. I adored Blisters (he even showed up in another series I was reading), Monet was great, Gran was a hoot, and quite a few of the other cast were very memorable. The authors used lots of humor also which is not easy to do well, but they succeeded. I look forward to more series from these authors and hope they're just as good.

I’m sad this series has ended but pleased it was such a satisfying finish. Can’t wait to see what this author does next in the Oriceran universe

Lots of fun

I liked the pace of this series.Something was always happening to surprise me Monet added the snark and Azure provided the saintliness. All in all a good time. And better edited than most series like these. Somebody with an editor's eye actually read the final manuscript before posting it. Thank you authors and editors

Happiness Abounds

Sometimes your happy place is not nearly what you think it'll be and the sacrifices you think you'll have to make are not nearly as lonely as you fear. Sarah and Martha take all of the expectations and turn them on their heads. Sometimes a happy ending is just what is deserved. Enjoy!

So sad for this to end

So happy that Money learned who he is, but even happier that he realized what family truly means. Happy Azure finally acknowledged her love for Ever. Sorry to see MAdam Lenore go. But what a thrilling ride for all!!!!

Beautiful, powerful

Touching farewells, emotion filled discovery, bloody fighting, and victory! In fact, a little bit of everything 💖Sarah has crafted a beautiful series with an amazing balance of emotions and events. And, of course, ended on a sweet, loving note of hope.

Loved all the books in this series. Sorry it has to end even if the end is good.
Hopefully we will here from these characters again even if it's not as the stars of the novel.

What a perfect ending for the series. Of course now I'm sad there is no more Azure, Monet, Ever, Blisters and the rest of the gang. I would love a spin off for Monet....This one has plenty of action when the team must beat the vampires, Azure gets a brand new role, but what does this mean for her kingdom? You will have to read the book to find out.
