Colorful collages of cut paper and pages with slides reveal various animals in their natural habitats, from a jaguar in a green forest, to a pheasant on a snowy hill, to a rattlesnake slithering through the grass.

This book is interesting, because on each page, we see two different representations of footprints of a different animal. The animal selection shows a potential meeting between the youth and the animal in a habitat in North America. I found the recognition of tracks quite challenging. This is a slide and see book, where the name of the animal, and the animal picture is pulled out each page.
